Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno vows to make sure Raila does not become President

Embattled Rongo MP Hon Dalmas Otieno has vowed to do everything within his powers to make sure Raila does not become President of Kenya.

Dalmas was speaking in a KANU meeting at a city hotel that brought together the KANU top brass

During the meeting that lasted for hours, the absentee Rongo MP whisperingly told KANU Secretary General Nick Salat that Raila Odinga will never be Kenya’s President because he excluded him from the NASA Technical and Strategy Team.

He wondered why the Premier went for his fiercest challenger former powerful University of Nairobi student leader David Osiany and left him out yet he is more experienced.

He vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure Raila does not win the August polls.

You see, I don’t understand why Jakom chose that young man over me yet I have been in this game for long. I will do everything possible to make sure he does not become the President. What can that young man offer that I don’t have? I’ll talk to my people in Rongo and ask them to abstain from voting for him. I’ll make sure he regrets leaving me out” He said.

Nonetheless, research conducted on the ground indicates that the MP who once disappeared for a whole year is completely out of touch with constituency matters. The ground seems to have shifted to Mr. Osiany, a close ally of Prime Minister Raila Odinga, something that has given Dalmas sleepless nights.

Hon Dalmas’s sentiments come a week after he was heard telling his constituents that he was part of the NASA core team.

Also at the meeting, it was revealed that KANU will field Gideon Moi as its presidential candidate, deputized by either Dalmas or Nambale MP Chris Okemo.

BREAKING: Raila Opposition SUPER ALLIANCE STATEMENT, List of NASA Launch Key Steering Commitee Members

NATIONAL SUPER ALLIANCE PRINCIPALS’ STATEMENT:

Following our successful meeting at the Bomas of Kenya on 11th January 2017, and in our running quest for a united, democratic, just, equitable and prosperous nation, we are pleased to announce today, the formation of an expanded outfit that will reach the broad masses of the people everywhere within our land and to unify all the progressive forces for lasting positive change.

This is a preliminary but vital step in establishing a grand coalition and the national super alliance.

The super alliance is a coalition for purposes of cementing opposition unity in the 2017 elections and forming a people-focused government thereafter.

Our quest for a united front is a direct response to the very clear messages from the Kenyan public that we must unite to rescue them and the country from the Jubilee misrule. These calls for unity have intensified as the lot of our people has gotten worse under the current regime.
What we have here this morning is therefore the first formal public commitment that we have embarked on firm steps for an alternative Government to be presented to the people of Kenya soon in line with their demand. We assure the people of Kenya that we shall not fail them.

To move the agenda of the alliance forward and prepare the formal launch in the very immediate future, we hereby announce the constitution of the following structures:
1. The National Coordinating Committee to prepare alliance instruments whose membership is as follows:

• Sen. James Orengo.
• Sen. Johnston Muthama.
• Hon Eseli Simiyu.
• Hon Sakwa Bunyasi.
• Hon Francis Nyenze.
• Sen Agnes Zani.
• Sen. Bonnie Khalwale.
• Hon. Chris Wamalwa.
• Hon Timothy Bosire.
• Hon Farah Maalim.
• Hon Kipruto Kirwa.

2: Technical and Strategy team to lend technical support to the Coordinating Committee.
These organs will be answerable to the Co-Principals of the alliance. They will start work immediately and make proposals which will be ratified by the Leadership of the Coalition on matters including the following:

1. Joint election platform, manifesto and blueprint on issues of concern and on challenges facing the country.

2. Organisational framework and structures for the Coalition and its secretariat.

3. Audit of the electoral system, election laws and processes and the capacity of IEBC to conduct free and fair elections.

4. Strategy to guarantee success and victory in all national and county elections and for securing majorities in parliament and county assemblies in the general elections.

5. Ensuring that the Coalition has a flag bearer and running mate in the presidential election and establishing rules for joint nominations for candidates in situations where circumstances so demand.

6. Coalition Agreement that will secure a smooth transition after the general elections; maintain stability and unity in the Coalition after the election; effective implementation of the Coalition manifesto and other development plans; defend, protect and uphold the Constitution including the Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law; and secure peace and security.

Our alliance is broad and bold. It is conceived as a mass movement of political parties, institutions and organized groups. It carries on board groups including trade unions, business community and employers, civil society, self-help groups, women and youth organizations, Chamas, transport associations, religious organizations, student organizations and individuals.
This alliance is a special purpose movement to uproot Jubilee regime from power for its misrule and abdication of responsibility and collusion in runaway corruption, and dwindling state of Kenya’s economy.

It is a vehicle for an alternative accountable, responsible and responsive leadership that will restore hope in self-government among Kenyans.

We are focused on promoting the rule of law, good governance, human rights, constitutionalism and inclusivity. We are keen on transparency, accountability, participation of the people, devolution of power and resources, equal opportunity and equity for all.
As our citizens will recall, following the general elections in 2002, Kenyans were pronounced as the most optimistic people in the world. On every account today Kenyans see more doom and gloom everyday than success and prosperity. Strikes, public theft, exclusion, insecurity, rising cost of living, unemployment, an endless war in Somalia and bad governance are now the order of the day in our lives.
We want to bring hope and happiness back to the land.

We promise the country that our team is taking Jubilee home.
For Kenya to stand, JUBILEE MUST FALL.
Signed…..

Defeated Amina opts for holiday in Dubai, Kenya stares at uncertain future in AU

As a country that had been fed the assured victory of Foreign Affairs CS Amina Mohammed at the African Union come to terms with a sobering loss, Amina has opted for a holiday in Dubai, alongside her husband Khalid Ahmed.

Foreign affairs ministry is in shambles. A cabinet reshuffle has been put on hold. Confusion.

Sources in the Kenyan delegation to the 28th AU Summit could not contain their emotions, and many are reported to have wept openly as the enormity of the loss began to sink in.

This was a continental loss with devastating local consequences.

Amina’s candidature, for some pundits, had nothing to do with Amina herself. She was merely the proverbial round peg in a square hole.

As the global face of Jubilee impunity, elevating her to AU, a body that is becoming extremely critical in electoral transitions in Africa, was one way of getting a safe pair of hands.

The regime that viciously pushed Amina to head AU secretariat is heading to an election in six short months with a legitimacy crisis.

An economy in free fall, growing joblessness, a restive youth population, uncertain future for millions. Compounding this is runaway corruption and suffocation of freedoms with heightened militarization of the civilian police.

Until last night, Jubilee which has created an aura of infallibility didn’t plan for a humbling defeat.

In Nairobi, victory parties had been held in her honour (and queer anticipation of her exit) where she was crowned the new national queen, complete with royal hat, like those spotted on Queen Elizabeth. High society women tossed champagne, danced to a rendition of somali songs and swallowed the evening in heightened gossiping, many planning to escort her to Addis Ababa.

These were no ordinary women.

Led by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, spouse of President Uhuru Kenyatta, they were the who-is-who in the Kenyan women fraternity from politics, business, academia and media. Top female journalists, a judge of the Supreme Court, several female cabinet secretaries and their principals, women CEOs of government-run parastatals, women tendepreneurs, female MPs et cetera attended.

But she lost, thanks to the geopolitics of the African Union.

At home, Amina candidature had divided the country down the middle, politically. Egged on by Jubilee regime, her candidature had been narrowed to an affair of the ruling regime, albeit masked in patriotic ululations, ostensibly to gag those who would be mad enough to oppose her.

It worked.

Mainstream politicians in the opposition CORD never openly opposed her, same as those on the ruling side who may not have liked her candidature. The conspiracy of silence was only broken by ever querrelsome kids of social media, who holds no prisoners.

Kenyans on the Internet publicly and brazenly aired their blatant opposition to her candidature, caricaturing her as an insensitive woman, being pushed on by insensitive men, at the expense of numerous sectors of the Kenyan society gasping for national intervention.

Doctors. The sick. Fallen soldiers and military families. Drought-stricken, famine ravaged north. Lectures on the streets and students out of class. An economy thinning, a nation divided.

In 2013, President Uhuru romped to power in a nation not reconciled with its haunting past. This year, Kenya, irreconcilable, faces Armageddon.

“We do not like the way this country is run”, posted Gabriel Oguda on Facebook, prosecuting Amina Mohammed in the court of public opinion.

“We are against the impression that Amb. Amina Mohammed is more important a Kenyan than all our gallant soldiers who died in Kulbiyow, combined. We reject, in totality, the notion that Amb. Amina Mohammed deserves more attention than poor Kenyans being affected by the doctor’s strike, now in its second month. We are against the government’s plan to elevate one Kenyan to a demigod pedestal while a million others are collapsing under the searing heat of famine and starvation,” he said.

“Amina needs Hijab more than AU seat, posted H.L Adam Birik Ahmed.

Some questioned the wisdom of fielding her, wondering whether propelling another Kenyan, in this case Amb. Erastus Mwencha, who until this week was the Deputy Chair of the Commission, could have been less costly a defeat, if that would still have been the eventuality.

Kenya is now effectively out of the management of African Union. Apart from Amina, the other Kenyan candidate Amb. Mahboub Maalim who gunned for AU Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy, also lost. Nothing much is known of him or his candidacy.

A regime suffers first major loss. Humbling loss!

ARREST of Hon Emaase in Uganda CONFIRMS Raila was RIGHT, NIS INVOLVED in ILLEGAL Registration of Foreigners as Voters to Facilitate Rigging in August Polls

The arrest of Jubilee MP Hon Mary Emaase (URP,Teso South) by Ugandan authorities over illegal issuance of Kenyan ID cards and subsequent registration as voters is a true confirmation that Raila was right, that state spy agency NIS is actively involved in the registration of Ethiopians and Ugandan in a bid to rig the August polls.

Hon Emaase was nabbed while in the company of her bodyguard, reportedly went into a compound in Mawero, Uganda where she had gathered a crowd in a registration exercise as the IEBC registration exercise enters its third week. She is alleged to have been found with complete BVR kit and blank Kenyan national ID cards.

Ugandan police, acting on a tip off, are said to have stormed into the compound and surrounded it, her bodyguard was disarmed and arrested. He was held at Tororo police station where Emaase’s official vehicle, a Toyota Fielder, was towed and impounded.

Attempts to reach Emaase to confirm the incident bore no fruit as the PA, Lucy Ogutu, hung up on journalists and did not answer subsequent calls.

Last Tuesday, opposition leader Raila Odinga accused NIS of facilitating foreigners to register as voters in the ongoing mass listing.

“The National Intelligence Service interference is aimed at influencing results the same way it did in 2007 and 2013,” he said in a statement.

Raila said the malpractice involves taking BVR kits to Uganda and Ethiopia and assisting their citizens to register for the poll.

“NIS is also assisting the citizens of these countries to acquire Kenyan identification documents, cross into Kenya and register as voters,” he said.

The CURSE of DISCRIMINATING Erastus Mwencha (Kisii) CATCHES UP with Uhuru as Amina Mohammed LOSSES BADLY at the Africa Union Elections

By Rita O
Jubilee people have this cliche “all politics is local” that is why for them Amina being Kenyan is more important than the fact that she does not represent the spirit or interest of Kenyans in the AU. It’s the same mindset that informs the position of a few tribes sitting at the leadership helms of 70% if not 90% of key institutions and parastatals. ‘Mtu wetu’
She does however represent that of one or two families/ tribes.

I am not for or against her(I have no vote in the matter) but I believe Africa Union needs a strong leadership and she is not it. Did you see ECOWAS in action concerning Gambia?

Before you drag my womanhood here please bear with me as I am generally very disinterested in her candidature and I fully equate Uhurus engagement with Rutos shuttle diplomacy against the ICC.

How was she more qualified than this gentleman?
Erastus J.O. Mwencha, EGH; MBS, the Kenyan current Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission. A Pan Africanist with over thirty years of progressive experience in policy formulation and institutional transformation at national, regional and continental levels in Africa.

Mr. Mwencha was elected in January 2008, as Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission by the Heads of State and Government of the 54 Member States of the African Union and re-elected to the same position in July 2012 with an overwhelming vote of 98%.

Now, with a Kenyan already holding such a high position in the African Union Commission, and with support from 98% of the Heads of State and Government of the 54 Member States of the African Union, won’t it be prudent for the Kenyan President and his Deputy to support him for the Chairmanship of the African Union Commission? That is, if the driving factor in all this is 1) Qualification and 2) The desire for an East African to be the AUC chairmanship? Ted

Finally I really don’t like NGOese, but what does this vagueness of a vision really mean? What is she promising to deliver?

ON AMINA MOHAMMED’S FAILED QUEST TO CHAIR THE AFRICAN UNION.
By Michael O
Is it objectively true that CS Amina Mohammed was unqualified to be the AU president,or was she just a victim of association with this inept Jubilee regime?
I ask this because during the interviews just before her formal appointment into the cabinet, legislators from both sides of the political divide were loudly unanimous that there could never have been a better pick for the post of Kenya’s foreign affairs CS than the same Amina who I now hear is the least qualified to head the AU.

If Kenya’s best can be Africa’s worst, then surely we should all knock our heads in great shame!!!

Methinks, and this is the fact that we need to acknowledge before we can continue engaging in the ongoing childish exchange of raw bile over Amina’s candidature, that this debate on Amina’s suitability or otherwise,to head the AU is purely political and devoid of any objectivity. While it may be true that there could have been better and more qualified candidates for the said post,it’s so irritating of some social media charlatans who barely comprehend the administrative structure or even basic functioning of the AU to put forward some very obnoxious narratives against the person of Amina Mohammed and her (failed) quest to head the AU.

All we need to know is that Amina’s candidature, beyond being Jubilee’s attempts to project their deluded might on the continental scene and raise their stakes thereto as rightly argued by several Opposition bloggers, locally was purely an overt political contest which we in the Opposition,at least going by our perceived muted opposition, seem to have allowed Jubilee to win – whichever way Amina’s candidature would have gone.

Having violently frogmarched several innocent ethnic Somalis from their humble abodes in Nairobi’s Eastleigh Estate into a detention camp at Kasarani Stadium, accusing them of breeding and harbouring terrorists, coupled with several other instances of ethnic profiling and harassment on account of fighting terrorism, the Jubilee mandarins were aware that it was a potent political tool that any smart Opposition would seamlessly exploit to pluck away the ethic Somali votes from their hold.

Now all they(Jubilee) will have to do is to face and tell the Kenyan Somalis;look,we mean well for your progress that’s why we made your son the majority leader in parliament and had wanted to make your daughter the president of the AU but wale majamaa wa hadithi na vitendawili wakakataa juu hawataki muendelee blah blah blah……….
These simplistic and narrow arguments , as has been severally proved, are what win political power in Africa, and lately even in the developed West.

If I were the Kenyan Opposition leader,I would simply have publicly “thrown my weight behind” Amina’s candidature.I would have lost nothing, and wouldn’t have cared much even if I did lose something.

And with this very stupid conjecture, I step out of this debate by conveying my sincere sympathies to CS Amina Mohammed for her spectacular loss, and to fellow Kenyans for yet another loss of billions used in the futile intensive lobbying to have our Amina become the head of the AU!!!

Mr President, don’t call us ‘Jeshi’.

By Kairu Kagwaini

President uhuru addressing gikuyu community via Kameme FM
Nothing pains like seeing your father snatching your only girlfriend. My use of the term girlfriend in this context is figurative. As you know we are the cursed generation where no young man has one girlfriend.

Our immorality has reached to a level that a man who has a good salary and even a free house with free water and electricity will have to flag down a matutu carrying 33 or even 58 voters so as to steal from a ‘jeshi’ trying to make ends meet. It is also for this reason that our ‘jeshi’ who are hawkers will have to pay someone 5000 shilings to be allowed to operate within the CBD for between 30-45 minutes without being stubbed with a rusty knife by the Nairobi county Askaris.

To add salt to the freshy wounds, president Uhuru Kenyatta who should be busy resolving the current stalemate in the health sector choose to go round calling the very ‘jeshi’ he didn’t acknowledge their presence for five years, telling them not to let him down.

Mr. President our community had very brilliant brains even before the white men came. They composed to us such wise saying as “njika na njika ndiri maruru” and “ria mukuru rikinyaga muruna” . I mean, don’t you feel the guilt in your heart? What have you done for us as your ‘jeshi’? I mean what is it that can distinguish me from those young men from the other side who voted jamaa wa vitendawili and is always ready to go for mass action.

Allow me to just ask this; kai giti giki gitari murio? If there is no difference between we who woke up at 3.00am, sat in the cold for hours and walked to the booth just to make you the president and those who did otherwise, we have no business wasting each other’s time. Your father was here before you, I guess he is the explanation as to why my grandfather died landless and homeless, now you the son is back, you want my blood!

Just how stupid do you think the Mount Kenya youths are? Don’t you think it pains us losing our relatives in the public hospitals simply because you can’t implement an already signed CBA with doctors? Why can’t you just take the obligation that the former regimes committed to do? I mean you already set precedent with the payment of the Golden berg scandal.

If you think am out of touch with the reality on the ground, come down mingle your ‘jeshi’ and you will be shocked to learn that they have serious and genuine issues that are concerning you and your presidency. Your ‘jeshi’ who are Hawkers are being stabbed, ran down, beaten up and their properties destroyed. Their expiring leases are not renewed. They haven’t felt your presence for the last four years. Their water is being drawn in tunnels, they continue to be jobless. They want to seek to you Mr. President.

The “Uthamaki” mr president Wants to protect has only been beneficial to him, his relatives and friends .The “Jeshi” and largely the Gikuyu nation got nothing to celebrate about.

How now that Mr president wants to secure another 5yrs as the CEO of Kenya while 40-50 % of the Jeshi he is talking to are jobless ? The same same who Mr president want to step on their heads on his way to amass wealth are very vulnerable, hungry, sick and thirsty. Their water is being drained to serve Nairobi where mr president and his family lives .

For the past four years the president forgot about the Jeshi, whom when voting they thought they were protecting their man from ICC. Now the ICC is gone why should the Jeshi wake up to go protect their general, who left them high and dry after winning round one ?

Look here am not fighting President Uhuru Kenyatta , but I shall not make the same mistakes that my grandfather did( who was a maumau)

He spent most of his time fighting for land but he died landless because Kenyatta grabbed all the land in the name of “uthamaki”.

Am not going to vote to Raila, but neither am I going to protect this kind of “uthamaki”.

BONIFACE MWANGI Reveals his 2016 KCSE Grade After CS Matiangi Flooded Country With Es, Ds and Cs…

Scores in exams hide more than they often reveal

I was expelled from school in 1998 when I was barely 15 for highlighting the problems that students faced. Since my mother could not afford to take me to an alternative school, I ended up in the streets of Nairobi as a hawker. Last year, 18 years after I was expelled, I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

I was 34, married and a father of three. By that time, I had given lectures in Ivy League universities after rigorous self-education.
I had by then also published my book, UnBounded. Having decided to contest for a political seat in the August election, I feared that I risked being stopped from vying on a technicality.

For this reason mainly, I enrolled for and wrote the examination whose results were released shortly after Christmas. My experience during the examination period is worth sharing because the results have been the subject of robust public debate.

Before one got into the examination room, one had to surrender his watch, hat and anything that was suspected could used to abet cheating.

STRINGENT MEASURES

I handed over my watch, wallet, handkerchief and my phone to the security team.

After they found out that a student in another examination room had hidden his phone inside his shoe, we were all made to remove our shoes as part of the search. If one went to the bathroom during the examination, one was searched yet again on returning.

When one was done with one paper, one could not leave the examination room until the stipulated time was up. There were determined invigilators monitoring every candidate to ensure there was no cheating. One invigilator had a sign-in sheet while another had a book with photos of candidates to counter-check with the ones pasted on the candidate’s desk. There was no possibility, therefore, of a proxy writing the examinations on behalf of a candidate. There were, in addition, armed police officers in the examination hall.

During the period, I had a lot of time to think.

I thought of ways this kind of robust scrutiny should apply to anyone who occupies public office. Their business should be our business because they are handling our affairs. Thorough inspection is a good thing; it keeps people on the straight and narrow.

That is why I support the strict implementation of Chapter Six of the Constitution on integrity.

HOPE NOT LOST

It is an example of weeding out cheats in our political system. Why would candidates for political office resist lifestyle audits, for example?

Unless they have something to hide, they should willingly subject themselves to such audits. I believe strongly that we do not focus on the fundamental qualities of education. Is competition for grades worth such prioritising?

How do we identify the different talents of our students upfront and get them into the right educational trajectories? How do we identify potential for different professions and tailor the curriculum to reflect those passions? Should grading not be continuous instead of “putting all eggs in one basket”, so to speak?

Should students not be graded on how they perform over the entire period of four years? Is the system of grading currently being applied not consigning many students to dead ends in their life pursuits?

SELF-EDUCATION

Albert Einstein — considered the most influential physicist — once said: “Everybody is a genius. “But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Einstein failed his polytechnic school examinations. He passed mathematics and science but failed in history, languages and geography. We know he went on to change the world.

This got me thinking. What will happen to children who, for instance, are artistically inclined?

We should put value to self-education since we seem to have killed free quality public education, and opted for private education. History records examples of self-taught individuals who were brilliant: Malcolm X and Mao Zedong come to mind.

In my field, photojournalism, my mentors, Mohamed Amin and Sir Mohinder Dhillon, were both self-educated. President Moi never went to any university but was nicknamed “the Professor of Politics” by the professors he outsmarted!

My grandparents fought for Kenya’s independence although they were not formally educated.

NOT IMPORTANT
They however knew what injustice was and were ready to die fighting for justice. Before we were colonised, our ancestors ran this part of the world without western education. The idea that passing or failing high school examination is the sole proof of how smart one is, is in my view plainly ridiculous.

Personally, I got unexpected marks even in subjects that I am well versed in. Fortunately, the overall grade I got will not affect my life the way it will an 18-year-old student who wrote that examination and failed. However, if grades could predict how good or bad a person would turn out, I would share mine, but they don’t.

At any rate, no one knows what our political leaders scored in their high school examinations. The score does not matter.

Some of the people looting this country are well educated, suggesting the limitations of our education. Many honest people I have met have not had formal education and their moral compass is intact.

Great talents are not born in the houses of the rich only. They are born in the houses of the poor, too. Education has to be a leveller that gives opportunities to all.

RECAP of Uhuru 2013 Jubilee PROMISES to Kenyans, Which one has been ACCOMPLISHED? Comment fupi fupi please

Fellow Kenyans, lest you forget, this is (a summary of) what the Jubilee Alliance of Uhuru Kenyatta of TNA (Jubilee presidential candidate), William Ruto of URP (Jubilee running mate), Charity Ngilu (NARC), and Najib Balala (RC), promised Kenyans in 2013:

  • 1. Put food and clean water on every Kenyan table
  • 2. Ensure that every child in Kenya gets quality education
  • 3. Create wealth
  • 4. Ensure that every Kenyan gets quality and affordable healthcare
  • 5. Empower Kenyan women to take their rightful place in developing this country
  • 6. Keep Kenya safe and secure both internally and externally
  • 7. Develop a cogent foreign relations and trade policy for Kenya

Whether or not they deserve another (Supreme Court endorsed) mandate should be contingent on how well they have delivered on this promise. The rest is smoke screens and noise …

Uhuru Pointman in Masailand CS Ole Nkaissery HECKLED and HUMILIATED in Narok over Jubilee FAKE PROMISES

Interior Cabinet Secretary, Major Gen. (Rtd.) Joseph Nkaissery, was on Saturday heckled by Narok residents while addressing mourners in Eneng’etia village, Narok County.

Nkaissery, who was speaking during the funeral service of the late Letoya ole Magelo, 91, the father to Nairobi County Assembly Speaker, Alex ole Magelo found himself in trouble after he told off opposition leaders for claiming that the Jubilee administration had neglected the Maa community.

What followed was a political supremacy showdown with majority of local leaders mostly elected on Jubilee ticket openly castigating Nkaissery and Uhuru regime over lack of solid development project in Narok County despite voting for Jubilee in 2013.

Nkaissery’s statement that the opposition would lose in the next General Election did not go down well with locals who shouted him down as he wound up his speech and that of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The disgruntled supporters then marched out of the venue in protest while hurling insults at the CS who at this point appeared helpless and resigned to embarrassment and humiliation.

At one point, an irate Nkaissery provoked the heckling locals by asking them whether they were from a tribe in Nyanza who never honour the dead.

This was the fouth time the CS has been heckled in Maa region (Kajiado and Narok)

…in Nyamira, Uhuru’s LEAD CAMPAIGNERS were HECKLED and SHUT DOWN as Raila Groundsman Hon Bosire was CHEERED

By Abuga Makori
At least every Jubilee leader who addressed residents of Moturumesi in Kitutu Masaba during the burial of Kerosi Ondieki, a Nyamira gubernatorial hopeful, had a day to forget as Orange Democratic Moveent (ODM) seemed to be the clear favourite party for Gusii people.

The two major parties have been wrestling in different parts of the country with only seven months to General elections.

Former Mugirango MP Kiangoi Ombasa, who defected from ODM recently, had his speech interrupted when a charged crowd shut him down when rallied for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.

“I am a friend of Walter Nyambati and I am going for senatorial seat. I plead with you that you support president Uhuru Kenyatta,” he said amid jeers.

Walter Nyambati, a former Kitutu Masaba MP, was also booed by angry supporters who openly showed their dissatisfaction with Jubilee leadership.

Among the speaker, Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire, who also doubles as ODM national treasurer, received warmth reception with attendees cheering throughout his speech.

“I want all of you to ensure you have registered as voters. That is the only way you can kick bad leaders out of power,” Bosire said.

Nyamira governor John Nyagarama, who is facing fierce competition from West Mugirango MP James Gesami, avoided speaking politics in a region perceived to be hostile to him.

Kerosi, who previously worked as Transitional Authority CEO, was among gubernatorial aspirants from Jubilee Party.

Immigration: The root cause of the problem!

By George Morara

The selective amnesia about Trump being brutally honest about American and generally western immigration policy sucks! Britain for example like many other western countries, has a perfectly similar protectionist and racist immigration policy system that has been excluding and separating families for years- with exploitative visa charges and a rough ride for immigrants.

The outcry over Trump is overreacting – we’ve had our families separated from us, detained, and deported. I have been put on a plane back …

What Trump is doing is nothing new. In fact it’s nothing. These policies have been in place and have been implemented on a DAILY basis until Trump came and was open about it. Obama deported a record 850 people DAILY over an 8 year period while smiling away his way into the hearts of millions. 2,500,000 million people deported from America in the last 8 years and people are going crazy about 200 in a day?! For crying out loud PLEEEEAASE be rational.

The thing is, if your host is not hospitable, don’t force your way in. Some of us made it in and are now stuck to come out. The West doesn’t provide for you. It’s your GOD and your effort. Which you can achieve anywhere if your country isn’t being bombed by them. The West doesn’t take you in for your gain- The West gains more from you than you can ever gain from the West. Whether you are in the West putting in the hours to pay the bills or languishing in your own country.

Maybe it’s a good thing for all of us in the Diaspora to go home and build and protect our countries so that one day we won’t have to want to leave home for places where we aren’t welcome. The anxiety of what’s going to happen and the hatred kills your soul quicker than languishing in poverty with your own family. All the precious years I could have spent with my grandparents with whom I now cannot enjoy the car I drive. It’s vanity, says the preacher!

We leave our families behind and come here to do predominantly thankless caring jobs. Low end jobs. Cleaning. Security. Our lives are wasted. Our generation is just trying to make sure our children do not go through what we’ve endured as immigrants. And we pray they understand to be thankful to GOD whose grace has kept us, and value the opportunity of our struggles- to be diligent in study.

Western immigrants in our countries (‘expatriates’ as they call them), often make wonderful experiences enjoying our hospitality…

I don’t blame them. I don’t blame Trump. Nor May and Hollande. The blame lies squarely on the leaders of our countries who’ve created conditions that make our people opt to be exploited abroad rather than die at home!

WHY Young Women are GIVING IN to OLD WISER Men

By Dorcas S
Relationship experts are all over social media inundating our walls on the suitability or otherwise of marriage partners. We are told a lady should marry a man within her age bracket to find lasting happiness.

Growing old together is, in most cases an illusion. What guarantee do you have that your marriage will last beyond the first anniversary? The fact that you are age mates does not mean that you will age together. Chances are the woman will be over the hill and her man as strong as a mule! A wife in her fifties will be fat, wrinkled and flabby, bored with life and resigned to a monotonous routine of child rearing. A man, on the other hand, will probably be a CEO, with a beautiful Secretary at his beck and call. She will probably be half his age but not averse to his charms, money and power!.

Emmy Kosgey has been criticised, battered and called unsavoury names for marrying a sixty something year old widower, a Pastor with adult children. Her tormentors opine that she married for money and not love. I want to beseech her detractors to give her a break! She is the one who knows what she saw in the Nigerian Pastor. The problem with Kenyans is that we pretend to know what is best for other people. We want to box them into a space and expect them to conform to our way of thinking and reasoning. If they don’t we are quick to judge and demonize them without first seeking to understand them.

If she is happy with her Nigerian husband, who are we to criticise her? Let her be. It is the shoe wearer who knows where it pinches most! She most probably opted for stability, security, experience. At his age the husband has been there, seen it, done it! When other women spend sleepless nights, worrying where their husbands are, and with whom, Emmy has no such worries. She spends warm, cuddly nights with her man!

And it is not for lack of alternatives. It is rumoured that she was seeing a young and famous media personality. She would have stuck with him but she preferred the old man. After all young men are restless, jumpy, undecided and full of negative energy. They fear commitment and are only interested in short term relationships. They run at the slightest instigation, are irresponsible and dodgy. Like wine, men get better with age. They become gentler, wiser, more responsible and more loving.

An old man will treat a woman like royalty. He knows the right buttons to press, what to say to make his woman feel good, how to pamper her and make her feel special, valued and indispensable. Young men have no time for all these niceties. They are brash, unrefined and reckless. Wooing is an art that the old man has mastered. Young men want to take a woman to bed on the first date! They then drop her like hot potatoes and go after their next victim. Loyalty is alien to them. Honesty is non existent in their limited vocabulary.

BREAKING: ”I have NOT DEFECTED to WIPER, I am Steadfast in ODM, Ready to FACE other Contenders for Kibra Seat”- Hon Ken Okoth

ON THE ALLEGATIONS THAT I HAVE ‘DEFECTED TO WIPER’.

May I state it here categorically that those are false allegations fabricated by my competitors in the ODM nominations race. They are so scared to face me in content, substance, depth, intellect and experience that they have thus resorted to medieval propaganda tactics which seem to be a basis of their manifesto.

On the contrary, just like mud merchants they are, they can continue listing their online hirelings in this wicked assignment to spread malice—they believe in their moments of mischief that they can fool the people of Kibra.

Let it be on RECORD that I am in ODM, I am a life member and I have already paid my nomination fees which means am going all the way to the nominations #OngeRingo

I just encourage them to raise the bar, than be sources of FAKE NEWS. Fake news is not and will never be a solution to the issues facing women, youths and children of Kibra #Okbichalonu

Kindly ignore them.

WHY I FEAR NOT THE RAILA PRESIDENCY

Gabriel Njonjo Kahato

As a full-blooded, proud and wise son of Gikuyu and Mumbi, born and nurtured suckling the breasts of diverse civilizations and peoples I choose to swim against the lie tide perpetuated by the vultures and hyenas who’ve devoured my people for decades.

To start with, the progenitors saw it wise to invest and entrust the destiny of the nation on the very wise sages and not an entity that would get intoxicated with power.

Presently a self-anointed kingdom is crying atop hillocks and termite mounds asking my people to ‘defend’ it.
What a lie and misuse!

The false alarm goes thus, ‘RAILA IS DANGEROUS, HE’LL REVENGE ON US’.

Now who is us? At what point did we lose our oneness and equality before Ngai and become slaves of mere mortals? This lie is from people who stole and raped their own and out of fear of the impending, they cringe behind tribe for support.

Who owns the looted lands, industries, airlines, mines, billions and tenders? Who needs to fear Raila if he goes ahead and implements the findings of Commissions gathering dust in shelves?

Fear must run deep and supreme when Raila is mentioned since he’s the nemesis of neo-colonialists and human-wolves who’ve thrived in sucking, gobbling and stuffing.

Why should I fear Raila?
I have no looted cash in Virgin Islands, no grabbed lands surrounded by squatters, no airline, no tender, no stolen victories, no coronation.

I am a lowly jigger-infested, hungry, thirsty, perpetually broke, but honest Kikuyu. I eat my sweat, pay my taxes and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

When the emperor sounds the war gong, it’s not for my safety, but his.

The God of small people has told me not to buy this lie.

Donald Trump’s EXECUTIVE ORDERS

TRUMP’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS

That each President has powers to issue executive orders is an indisputable fact. In fact, it’s a privilege that a president enjoys and can use in bringing about desired changes in the face of congressional opposition. Several presidents have used these orders and Trump is no exception. The difference between what Trump is doing and what his predecessors did is that he is busy churning out microwave policies devoid of subject-matter expert scrutiny and interrogation.

Obama for instance, spent months comparing notes with policy wonks and agency legal luminaries before putting his John Hancock on the executive orders. This move, ensured that all loose ends were tied, any potential conflicting interests were sorted out, the government and the affected agencies were readied for any far reaching changes etc.

Not this new CEO.

These Executive orders are reportedly being written by one guy, the 32 year old longtime speechwriter and policy advisor and reviewed by chief strategist Mr Bannon. All West wing staffers are kept in the dark and sometimes ‘being let in’ on the contents of the orders just two hours before going live. In other words, senior policy staffers are largely ceremonial.

It’s no wonder that these new orders are lacking in depth and details. It’s almost like the West wing is still in campaign mode. Blanket bromides got them to the White House and they see no need to change tack. Most Washington policy think tanks are flabbergasted. The executive orders are rich in grandiose titles but are emaciated by way of details. The Muslim ban was signed without proper legwork and now anyone with a TV can see the mess in real time.

The State department experienced the largest pink-slip ceremony in the history of the United States. Five professional career diplomats in senior management with vast knowledge of foreign policy tendered their resignation letters after they found out that left and hand no clue what the right hand was doing.

With all Ambassadors gone and all green card and valid U.S. visa holders from the affected countries being turned away, a picture emerges of a not-so-well-thought out policy but with far reaching consequences. What will happen to Arab translators who are helping U.S. soldiers overseas? How will the US recruit new informers in war zones? Are they going to become ‘instant citizens’ because the current order eliminates even green card holders? These are fine details that stakeholders would voice before such a policy is adopted.

But since, campaign promises must be kept, we are continuing to see more obtuse policy prescriptions that sound more like campaign rhetoric than real meaty policy.

The Mexican wall thing is also turning out to be a policy fantasy and it will be interesting to see if a Republican Congress, will even consider taxing the American people in order to pay for the wall. But on paper, there is an order stipulating the building of a wall without a funding architecture.

The onus is on Congress to put a lid on some of these overreaching steps being taken. Arizona Senator John McCain has signalled that he is going to buck the White House and I must say that we need more Senators to come out and make it harder to govern in this drive-through fashion.

SHOCK: 68 KDF Soldiers KILLED by Alshabaab in Kulbiyow Camp ATTACK on Friday, Uhuru regime LIED, Bodies FLOWN to Nairobi at Night in SECRECY

At least 68 Kenyan soldiers were killed in the Friday dawn attack on their camp by Al Shabaab militants in Somalia, according to military sources.

Two platoons consisting of 72 men survived after their commanders ordered that they retreat, in a possible tactical error in which the other two platoon took on the attackers, suffering massively before the camp was overrun. A company, in military terms, has four platoons, each with 36 men.

Top military sources divulged in confidence details of the horror ambush, the intense gunfight that followed and the efforts by the State to conceal the scale of the damage. Thirty bodies were moved from the Moi Airbase in Eastleigh, Nairobi to the Armed Forces Memorial Hospital aboard vans bearing civilian plates, three individuals with privileged access said in separate interviews.

More bodies were thought to have been received by the military throughout Friday night and Saturday morning from the destroyed Kulbiyow camp. “It was a horrendous scene,” one of the officers told local media, adding that the attack closely mirrored last year’s ambush at El Adde, where 173 soldiers were killed.

Military helicopters brought in the bodies to the airbase which is across the city before being moved by road to the mortuary, ostensibly to reduce any contact and information regarding the losses. Actual losses from the Kolbiyow attack were more than what the terror group — known for exaggerating its successes—had earlier reported at 57. It was a rare understatement, perhaps on account of not having enough space and time to assess the damage caused as the distress calls were promptly responded to.

Men drawn from the 75 Kenya Rifles (KR) in Embakasi had only last month been withdrawn from the camp, which is close to the Kenyan border, to be replaced by platoons from Mariakani Barracks — known in the Kenyan military circles as 15 KR. KDF said only nine soldiers, two officers and seven servicemen, died in the Kulbiyow attack in a statement sent out at about 8.30 pm on Friday.

It has since emerged that the statement was sent when more than a dozen bodies had been received at Moi Airbase. Our sources, who could not be named because military protocol does not allow them to speak to the media, said KDF took over the camp last night after two platoons overpowered the militants with backup from air and land forces called in from Kenya.

At least 70 Al Shabaab militants were reported to have been killed in the fierce fighting before the camp was recaptured by KDF. It all started at about 5 am on Friday when two vehicles filled with powerful explosives were driven by suicide bombers into the barrier leading to the camp. The explosion ripped through the camp, tearing down the sack-filled barricades.

Tens of militants on pick-up trucks fitted with heavy artillery, stormed in and opened fire on the soldiers. Unlike in the El Adde ambush, two commanders ordered their troops to retreat and take cover before making a formation to take on the enemy. It is military tradition to stick to your platoon and take instructions only from your commander. This is how men who may have been together were separated, and possibly the difference between life and death.

Details of how far the platoons that retreated made it still remain scanty, but the commanders were in constant communication with their seniors in Kenya who sent through the back-up forces. After the special forces arrived, the officers returned to the camp, which had by then been overrun and burnt. There are also unconfirmed claims that the militants escaped with vehicles and arms confiscated from the camp before the backup arrived. Generally, the militants replenish their food and arms stocks when staging such attacks.

Politics of The HAVES, The HAVE-NOTS and The WILL-NEVER HAVE

By Dorcas S

Ideally, political leadership is supposed to be a calling. A special, noble calling to serve with the inspiration of playing a part for the greater good. As Charlie Arlinghaus once said,” leadership is felt, it can’t be forced, when people see it, they feel it.” Arlinghaus was referring to Political leaders who put the greater good ahead of self. Unfortunately, most politicians have morphed into different predators who collectively view politics as a rich hunting ground for vulnerable prey.

Buttressed by largesse from faceless donors who dutifully ‘invest’ in the campaigns in order to reap the benefits later, the politicians often sprinkle all kinds of denominations of currency to the gullible voters with grandiose promises that will never see the light of the day. When the last confetti drops and the TV cameras are gone, the so called leaders disappear into the thin air to begin what has become the norm – enriching themselves and returning the favor to their masters ( donor). The voter, who should be the VIP by virtue of his vote and the whole concept of public service, is relegated to the back of the line never to be seen or heard from again for five years!

As the folks who paid the Piper gleefully dance to their tune of choice, the mwanainchi is left to toil and confront the contours of hardknock life like an individual in an anarchical state. Those who muster the courage to register their displeasure are promptly pacified with temporary goodies to lull them to a long-term slumber.

Most of you will recall the push and pull game that Kenyans witnessed right after the Jubilee duo were sworn in. Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter came out, guns blazing and made known his displeasure with the SGR tender. The ruling duo reluctantly dismissed the maverick Jubilee MP as a gun-for-hire out to make the case for his campaign financier! Tellingly, the alleged financier was so powerful that even the President had to exercise great restraint when addressing him. It was clear to many a Kenyan that the “Kandarasi-gate” was no child play. And the head honcho was also a biggie who had invested heavily on Jubilee with hopes of landing the SGR tender. Nobody would have known this if the Jubilee boys didn’t let the cat out of the bag!

That is just one of the ways the political system works. Tycoons and business magnates bankroll campaigns so that they can cash in later. And the sad thing is that those biggies do not think about the common man. From the tendering process, to procurement, the whole system is designed to enrich the folks at the top.

The leaders routinely have pseudo- entities that they award the tenders to at outrageously exorbitant figures and then make a killing not knowing that at the end of the day when debits must equal credits, the tax payer, who is the mwanainchi is left to shoulder the burden. As for our politicians paying taxes? In the mood for unanimity in a deeply partisan parliament? When it comes to taxing their salaries and emoluments, there is no CORD or JUBILEE, they are all ‘ Honorable Members’ united and saying a resounding NO to taxes! But they will gladly pass VAT to further stifle the average Kenyan.

People always talk about revolution. Take this to the bank, there will never be a revolution in Kenya, not when we steadily rely on the partisan pulp that the politicians are feeding us. It will take a miracle for a CORD sympathizer to work with Jubilee sympathizer for the greater good of the country. Not when you everything is seen through the prism of who-will-benefit. If an issue will benefit CORD, a Jubilee sympathizer would be damned if he supported that course!

And this brings me to the dichotomy of class. Those at the top will look out for one another. Politicians will always be available to cushion them and diligently work for them lest they lose campaign finances. This ensures that the money train is always headed to the top. The so called middle class are able to go to work every morning just to keep the wheels of the economy. They work at the Beck and call of the biggies. They are paid salaries that are enough to buy an apartment, get an automobile, pay school fees, dress up a little bit, and spare some change for roast goat meat and beer while keeping their eyes glued to European soccer league matches in local joints. While at it, the cash registers of European sports apparel shops are vibrating with currency from the Jersey sales and everyone remains ‘happy.’

The hardest hit individual in this scenario is the struggling mwanainchi who neither belongs to the upper nor middle class. He or she is left to fend for himself or herself. Ironically, when it comes to voting and thronging political rallies, you can count on him or her, but when it comes to catering to his or her needs, the system goes mute or mediocre at best.

The middle class is tasked the with responsibility of ensuring that the common mwanainchi is hoodwinked into believing nonexistent things. As the politicians loot, they are blinded by a few bills to make them Merrymake for a day or two and then get back to reality when everything settles down. The system is designed to keep them down and make them stay down.

Even the legendary Ksh 100,000 wheelbarrows were never manufactured by the local Jua Kali artisans and if they did, you can bet your life that they never received such astronomical figures. That’s how tough the common man has it. People can use you as an excuse to make millions and yet you never see a penny!

It used to be that labour groups would agitate for equity in labor, however, after the politicization of the Union, that’s now a pipe dream. The haves will always have, the have-nots will always try, but there will always be the never-have-nots because the system is rigged. The poor will stay poor, the rich will get richer. Who will fight for the never-have-nots ?

A revolution? Not a chance. The top will pour money to the middle class to lull them into a slumber and as they Merrymake and get hypnotized with European football and French wine, they will extend the goodies to the common mwanainchi who can barely make ends meet and pacify him with one-time bonuses to make him fall into a celebratory trance for two or three days and there you have it! Revolution is gone!

In the mood for evidence? When was the last Kenyans, in their thousands, went out of their way to demonstrate and denounce an injustice? Its not like injustices sublimed! When folks called on Kenyans to occupy parliament, more pigs graced the occasion than actual human beings! It was like a reincarnation of George Orwell’s classic Animal Farm!

EXPOSED: HOW IEBC DATABASE Was DESIGNED To Facilitate VOTER RIGGING, Raila and NASA MUST DEMAND for A seure Register to Reflecting Best Practice

By JAMES ORUNDU

I think CORD is being played. I was attentive in class when they taught us the principles of database design.

They told us that primary keys, secondary keys, and unique identifiers are essential condiments of database integrity.

What it means is that If you were IEBC and had a database of voters, you would create a national ID field in a database table having a unique identifier. This field is where all IDs of registered voters is stored.

Since the field is unique, it would be impossible to have identical entries under the ID field. No way would a Wanjiru masquerade as a Kalonzo.
You would also hash the ID entries and “salt” them so that, in the event the database gets hacked, the hacker cannot access anyone’s ID
number. Even better, you would encrypt them.

In the IEBC database, these entries are not unique and are not encrypted. So why was the IEBC system designed that way?
The answer is simple: it was designed NOT to be foolproof. It lights up the Establishment’s path to victory.

If CORD cannot have this database audited and improved to reflect best practice, then CORD is wasting our time.
Asking us to register in a silly database is like telling us to store water in our trouser pockets. Can’t work.

BREAKING: HERE is Raila’s MEMO to IEBC, Interior CS Nkaissery and ODM Party Members

ODM MEMO TO MEMBERS, INTERIOR MINISTRY AND IEBC:

January 28, 2017.

1: Suspension of party membership drive:
All elected leaders and aspirants on the ticket of the Orange Democratic Movement are hereby directed to immediately stop the membership recruitment drive that had been announced earlier and get focused on voter registration. All energy and resources of our various groups and party cadres must be dedicated to driving voter registration turnout.

After spending the first days on planning and building the infrastructure, our national get-out-the-voters must roll out in full swing without any distractions. Any leaders or aspirants who go against this directive will be considered to be working directly against the interests of the party.

2: Partisan conduct of the Ministry of Interior:

The party notes with concern that the directive by President Uhuru Kenyatta that national identity cards be issued to all Kenyans within three days of application is not being applied universally. We have noted that chiefs in Nyanza, Western, the Coast and other regions perceived to be Opposition leaning are being denied the basics like fuel and travel allowances that they need to implement the order by the President.

Equally, registration offices in these areas, including Huduma centres, are permanently lacking the documents they need to facilitate registration persons. In other places, chiefs have been intimidated and have succumbed to the illegal orders by the Interior Minister Joseph Nkaissery that they must not facilitate registration in perceived Opposition zones. This is an attempt at advance rigging of the August polls. We put the minister on notice that we take his threat to the chiefs and its visible consequences and that he must be prepared to bear its consequences in the fullness of time.

3: IEBC complacency:
ODM wishes to notify the IEBC that we are taking note of its complacency and silence on the matters being raised by the Opposition with regard to the voter registration. The IEBC is loud in silence over open interference in the voter registration exercise by the Interior Ministry, the campaign of hate and incitement in some vernacular radio stations and the preferential implementation of the order on issuance of identity cards.

We remind the IEBC that it has the sole mandate to ensure all Kenyans of voting age are registered to vote. It is also the IEBC’s sole mandate to ensure that elections are free and fair and that the infrastructure to the elections does not favour any one player. We reserve the right to interpret the IEB’s silence as complicity in the conspiracy to rig elections in favour of Jubilee.

Sebastian Harris: How To Approach Women Without Being Creepy

Have you ever seen a creepy guy freak out a woman by simply talking to her? I have seen it many times. Whenever I do, my stomach turns upside down. In fact, not so long ago I was one of those guys. After I had ordered more products on picking up girls than my credit card could deal with, I was excited and motivated to test everything I had learned. I was ready to become one of the greatest seducers of all time. I was ready to be a real life Don Juan. I was ready for it all.

Or, so I thought. Turns out, what I wasn’t ready for was the truth. I thought that my way of approaching women resembled the videos of those guys who did this for a living. However, what I really looked like was an insecure little boy who tried to sell some stuff that he didn’t believe in.

I made every mistake that you can possibly make. I think it goes without saying… but I creeped out a lot of women on my road to dating success. What I also didn’t know back then is that this behavior is completely normal for a lot of guys.

They see something crazy in a YouTube video, expect that it works with every single girl on the planet and they jump right into it, without thinking about whether or not their actions make any sense. Of course you can take the same road as I took and get calibrated after experiencing one rejection after another.

You can do that, but you can also choose another path. Check out these following five ways that give women the creeps and avoid them like the plague. Allow yourself to take the shortcut to success.
Don’t touch her before she sees you

Approaching women sounds ridiculously easy in theory, but the truth is that you can already make the first big mistake before you even talk to her. You might have seen some crazy pick up artist running up to a girl from behind, touching her neck and getting away with it. However, just because it’s on YouTube doesn’t mean that it is a good idea to do it.

Don’t get me wrong, running up to a girl from behind is absolutely okay. What’s not okay is to touch her before she sees you. When you run up to a girl who is walking in front of you, you have to make sure that she sees your face before you say the first word, and especially before you touch her.

Everything else will most likely scare her so much that the last thing she wants is to go on a date with you. She doesn’t know if you are a thief, a rapist, or just a decent guy who wants to get to know her until she sees your friendly face.
Respect her private space

What do you do after you showed her that you are just a friendly guy who wants to get to know her? According to a lot of self-proclaimed pick up artists this is the right time to show that you are the strong and aggressive alpha man that can crush a rock with his bare hands. As a result of this delusional obsession with the alpha male archetype, a lot of guys give women the creeps by disrespecting their private space.

I know that the guy in the video course said that you should be as alpha as possible, but that doesn’t mean that you should stand so close to her that she can already smell the haze of your armpits. That’s a bit too alpha.

Instead of scaring her away by standing in front of her like a bouncer, you should rather approach her with a confident but friendly vibe without being too pushy. Give her some air to breathe and she will give you some time to say what you want to say.
Don’t stare at her like a serial killer

Another big mistake that a lot of guys make is to assume that they not only have to look like a strong alpha dude, but that they also have to stare like one. I don’t know about you, but I don’t enjoy talking to someone who looks as if he wants to rip me into two pieces.

I’m not saying that you have to put on a fake Hollywood smile to cast a spell over a woman. All I want to say is that staring at her like a serial killer is not particularly helpful. Unless you learn to project your confidence without looking as if you have to battle with really nasty diarrhea, you will always be the guy who gives her the creeps.
Watch your body language

If there is one thing that makes women more uncomfortable than a guy who tries to take being alpha to the next level is a guy who shows that he is extremely nervous. Don’t get this the wrong way. It is absolutely fine to be a bit nervous and to have one or two bloopers.

If you; however, start to speak faster than the road runner says “meep meep” and start swinging your arms as if you were an octopus that swallowed too much ecstasy, you’ll get nowhere fast. You have to calm down. Breathe in, breathe out. Focus all your energy on your body language.

You don’t need the body language of James Bond to impress women. Standing in a relaxed way and controlling your gesticulation is all that is needed. Oh, and stop fumbling around with your zipper.
Understand when “no” means “no”

The inability (or the unwillingness) to understand that a serious “no” actually means “no” is the fastest way to creep out a woman. I don’t know why, but some guys actually believe that a woman means “yes” when she says “no”.

Well, in some cases this is true, but only if she says it sarcastically with a big smile on her face while she is playing with her hair. When she says it with a serious facial expression and a defensive body language you can be 100% sure that she really means “no”. It is your job to respect her decision.

Raila ROCKS in Kakamega, DARES Uhuru to ARREST him Yet He CANNOT ARREST LOOTERS and GRABERS

Raila Kakamega

CORD leader Raila Odinga has said he’s not afraid of being arrested after President Uhuru Kenyatta warned opposition leaders with arrest if they cause violence after the August 8th polls.

Speaking in Matungu, Kakamega County, Raila urged area residents to register as voters and vote out the Jubilee Government.

Raila stated that the opposition will ensure there is no vote rigging in the August 8th elections.

Raila has also accused the Jubilee Government of doing little to end the doctors strike that has paralysed health services in public hospitals for close to two months.
FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has called on opposition supporters to register as voters in large numbers to boost chances of the main opposition alliance trouncing the Jubilee government in the August 8th polls.

Speaking in Budalangi Market, Busia County, Wetangula expressed optimism that the new found opposition unity will remain and produce one candidate to face off with President Uhuru.
