Too much looting in Homa-Bay county, who will stop them?

I cry for my beloved Homa Bay county.

The sh 2.7 billion allegedly stolen in Homa bay county that the DCIO is investigating and has already summoned officers to appear before him this week and next week could have transformed the lives of people.

Homa bay has eight sub counties and take it that if Makueni built a 200 bed capacity at an 125 million, Homa bay county could have built similar facilities in all the sub counties and could have remained with an 1.5 billion.

Take another sh 300 million could have built Homa Bay stadium to the league of Bukhungu stadium.

Take another Sh 500 million could have drilled water in all the water scarce sub counties and ensured water security.

The balance of sh 700 million could have been used to open up roads in all the sub counties and Homa bay would have been a county of choice

This is what we call economic genocide perpetrated by Governor Awiti administration and the reason why they should be rotting in jail and assets recovered.

This is why Awiti and his team must go home or the county be dissolved.

This is why we must ask ODM leadership the tough questions why they have remained tight lipped as economic genocide continues to be meted out on people of Homa Bay.

That is why we ask the senator , who is the PAC chairman why he has shut his eyes and left the people to die.

This is why we must ask the MPs why they continue to dine and wine with economic saboteurs as people suffer.

Awiti and his team must vacate office and the people must once again have a reason to have hope and get service.

Exposed: Top Lawyer Prpf Tom Ojienda arrest linked to the JSC Job, dark forces want him replaced- see DCI fake charges

By Erico T

As an Advocate you file an application on behalf of a client at the Court of Appeal. It is given a UR number. You write to the client quoting the UR number naturally asking for your fee deposit. Subsequently appeal is filed and its given a CA number.

The DCI is investigating you. They see your payment with the UR number and look for it as a CA number. They can’t find it. Viola!!!!!They conclude its a fake claim intended to obtain money by false pretences. Decide to charge you and proclaim it to the world.

Then they search your office and you give them all the pleadings and explain how the numbers change. They still decide to proceed and charge you nonetheless. Because the only thing they intended to do was charge you. The charge and evidence was to be found later. But charge you they must.

Nobody begged DP Ruto to disband his URP Party, he doesn’t control Jubilee, he must respect the real owners

By Jerome O

I hear if you borrow sleep, at your neighbor’s, you do not enjoy the privilege to complain that the house is too smelly even if your host is carelessly releasing dangerous gases into the air, from his exhaust pipe

I am not so certain, this applies, in an event that the host misled his guest you to pull down his own house, so that he could seek shelter in his

After Murathe’s loud fart, Tuju has picked up from where the veteran left, with a new announcement that there isn’t any written pact within Jubilee, detailing if anyone was to automatically succeed Kenyatta, as the party’s presidential candidate

Uhuru and his henchmen misled the DP to pull down his own house, URP, so that they can build a new house together and live in happily. Ruto proceeded to do so without considering that Uhuru kept the title deed of the new house

Now he is being harrassed amd mistreated,in their new home, but he can’t complain because as a visitor in the house “sheria na masharti kutumika”

Both Murathe and Tuju are errand boys, pulling the strings for someone and that can’t be anyone lesser than Uhuru. Were it not so, the president wouldn’t have hesitated to reprimand the duo and reiterate his support for his DP

Seems the Jubilee divorce will be messier and noisier than Wetangula had promised his coalition partners in NASA

Just like a sheep who spends it’s entire lifetime scared of the wolf, only to be eaten by the very shepherd she trusted, Ruto imagined his enemy is/was Raila, when clearly it is Uhuru eating him

In other news I hear some few cultists, attending prophet Owuors crusade died, quickly and permanently either in a stampede or after absconding medication in hospital

At least mature has a way of elininating fools

If indeed Owuor was any potent he ought to have reversed the deaths, instead of travelling to Pokot to resucitate mama Rosa, from death, when she wasn’t dead

I said and I repeat, that this Jewish cult only makes sense to those who have refused to reason

Great evening my fellow hoof eaters!!

DP Ruto can only be a Kingmaker, will never be President !

William Samoei Ruto has made fair political progress. This is exact goodwill that Raila Odinga enjoyed between 2005-2007. Him, being a kingmaker like His High representative RT. Hon. Raila Odinga, it pains me that results will never be any different, unless, vicious war and or devastating hunger strikes the Republic of Kenya.

This is biblical, don’t argue with me as WSR understands this predicament. Ruto’s arrogance is a none issue. The kingmaker jinx is only obstacle, unless the the king suffers his father jinx.

To change his fortune and consolidate his Kingmaker role he must henceforth do the following:

1. Ruto need to climb down the mountain of arrogance and take refuge in the plateau of humility. Seek forgiveness from those he insulted, despised and embarrassed in the public. Being remorseful is a strength not a weakness.

2. Ruto should encourage Uhuru to shake the cabinet and the entire government. The positions he was offered most of them he rewarded his Kalenjins and if he extended to other regions, then he gave the position to some nuisance kind of human beings. The kind of people who can’t sale Ruto’s candidature beyond their bedrooms. Do a shake up. On the slots meant for Ruto in government, he should them distribute them nationally and picking people that command respect in their communities. He needs that national face, national figure.

3. Ruto need to form his own political party. Start working on its structures early enough. Jubilee is not his party. He was misled to dissolve his URP. It has come to haunt him. Jubilee party is a property of Mt Kenya. RV are just squatters in it.

4. Invest in branding, yes the Sugoi man is just self confident but must be told that winning presidency is not about talking tough on TV interviews. It will take a cool plus 4 years of consistent messaging to clean his tainted image. The sooner he gets the PR team like that of Uhuru 2013 (BTB PR of London) plus Cambridge Analytica the better otherwise in 2022 it will be x vs mwizi and we all know how that will end.

Hilarious: Jerome Ogola’s killer post; End of year rant to Safaricom and much more-A MUST READ !

Facebook is like a madman. You elope with someone discreetly, only for it to start shouting notifications to all and sundry that so and so got married

Away from that, but still on madness, did you know that every flyover in Kenya has a madman/woman living below it? The saying that every market worth it’s name, is entitled to one mad man, should be amended to accommodate this new development

That was the dessert and now we are on the main meal. This is the final day of 2018, and we are about to sing luwere to it. In school, we had a rite known as “kufunga shule”

This entailed, randomly picking any weakling around, without consulting them, and announcing it to them, that you will be closing school with them

Before they give their views on the same, you pounce on them with a vicious attack, pumping blows everywhere on their faces and head, to showcase your latest acquisition of tactics from Bruce Lee movie, you gathered from the open air cinema that visits the market once every month

After beating someone, unprovoked, as your fellow fools cheer, you then leave the scene, walking with pride and a feeling of importance like that of a certain polygamous govenor, while arriving for a funeral

It is time to close the year. I have carefully scrutinized the my list of enemies and arrived on Safaricom for the third year running. I will “funga mwaka” with this cellular phone service provider

My choice isn’t as unprovoked as was the case of what we did in Primary. I have settled on Safaricom for a litany of grievances

To begin, you are a necessary irritant, like a torn blanket, which I am uncomfortable with, but discarding isn’t an option because I’ll freeze to death

You reward loyalty through a program called bonga points. For every ten shillings one use in your service, you reward them one point. They are supposed to accumulate such points to tens of thousands for them to qualify for a cellphone worth a few thousands

For example, one should have 50k bonga points, which they spent 500k shillings to acquire, to be rewarded with a not so expensive phone. I find this ridiculous, as rewarding PK chewing gum for every purchase of a Mercedes Benz

Is that really a reward?

Bwana Safaricom, sometimes this year, your data network went on a safari, for a whole day. Most Kenyans browse the internet from daily subscription of your bundles. By the time your network came back from the safari, these daily subscriptions had expired, meaning you took money, probably in hundreds of millions for services you never delivered

You are a scam

For every 200 shillings a broke Kenyan sends to a more broke relative, you sneak in your filthy hands in the traction to to steal 43 shillings. This is around 25% of amount transacted

This to me, is robbery. The cost of such a transaction shouldn’t be more than 5%. Your data SMS data tariffs are even more crazy. You sell someone 1GB of data, at 99 bob, because you know too well, with normal usage, a cellphone won’t consume such in a day

You also give 150MB of data at 19 bob, and cleverly, you attach to it a one hour lifespan. All these programs expire within the stipulated period and aren’ttransferable

This is like living someone four hooves of a mature male jumbo and forcing them to eat it alone, in one hour. Is that a favour or a mockery?

In the days gloomy to us, those that don’t go so well,I always visit Mama Mwangi the local grocer, stay behind, let everyone jump the queue, then when everyone is gone, I request that I be given, a quarter of a quarter of a kilogram of sugar, also called sukari ndogo, an invention that happened during Jubilee regime, which remains their only achievement

When I go to pay the debt a few days later, I am never charged a cent beyond the normal selling price of the commodity I had taken on credit. Why do you charge 10 shilling for every one hundred shillings airtime which one requests in your platform

Is it a loan to attract an interest? This amounts to being insensitive enough to prey on your clients during hard times to make a kill from them

The list of complaints is endless, but let me end it here for now. I hope you change with the new year

Lest you forget, I had discarded your line for a sojourn in Airtel, when our baba advised us to do so, but sadly, after defecting with drama, I sneaked back incognito to Safaricom because the former’s network is as slow as that of an expectant snail

You seen to have taken advantage of this ear monopoly to terrorize us more

Now I only have one prayer. That Collymore goes back to his country Guyana, so that a local ie Kirubi can be tasked with this giant blue chip’s management so that he can KENATCO it to death in a record time to create room for its dwarfing competitors to tall up

For those who may’ve forgotten, Guyana is that that country described by someone as a “mosquito-laden humid swamp in a suffocating rainforest whose natives are short ugly looking Indian folk who eat monkeys and swamprats and have been inbreeding forever”

I wish all my fellow hoof eaters a wonderful new year 2019

LUWERE 2018. WANYONYI AKHULINDE!!

Dear haters, Raila is in Namibia on a well deserved vacation, paid by own hard earned money, he as Not Looted NCPB, KPL, KPC etc

By Kamasas Empraim and AB Murage via FB

Look at this scenario:

You traveled all the way from Nairobi to the village to join your father plus other family members for the Christmas and new year holidays. Raila opted to fly his entire family for a working holiday down south in Namibia. For the second day running, you are criticising Raila’s trip to Namibia with his entire family. Come on gentleman!

Your father could only afford to slaughter chicken, serve you with bottles of chang’aa and host you in his village home; that’s the furthest he could afford. On the other hand, Raila managed to fly his entire nucleus family to Namibia for the holidays.

Gentleman, learn how to live within your scripts. Get contended with what your parents can offer you without criticizing what another father can do for his family. What both Raila and your father are doing is one thing, same thing but being done on different scales of life.

Tosheka na hali yako!

Meanwhile comrade AB Murage adds:

Cde Rosco, I don’t know who you are. I haven’t met you. I wish I had. However, I have read your post characterizing and chastising Raila for being in Namibia with his family for New Year’s Eve. I don’t know what Raila has done wrong to be in Namibia. All I know is that he has done so using proceeds from his businesses — profit. The dude works hard therefore, it is within his right to play hard.

Eti Ruto ako Sugoi? I don’t know whether Raila has stopped Ruto from leaving Sugoi. Staying in Sugoi, Gatundu or Bondo for festivities does not cleanse anyone from being a suspected economic thief.

Raila has not stopped you from going to Mombasa with your family using the said SGR. The Kibera folks you have insulted follow Raila fanatically and unapologetically. I don’t think they have any regrets. The stones they throw represent their disgust for political and social injustice.

Here are 5 amazing facts you are unlikely to know. Number 3 will shock you!

1. Former Kisii County Senator Hon. Chris Obure was the first non-Luo player to play for Gor Mahia FC. This was back in the day he was a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Nairobi.

2. William Ruto’s dream back in the day he was in Primary School was to join Cardinal Otunga High School Mosocho of then Kisii District upon completing his primary school studies. This, he revealed in a newspaper interview a couple of years ago.

3. Allan Wanga and Gladys Wanga are neither siblings, nor even from the same ethnic community. Further, neither of them belongs to the Wanga sub tribe of the Luhya Community!

4. Of the 10 countries with the highest density of prostitutes in the world, Nigeria is the only African country at number 5 with a ratio of 63 prostitutes in every 10,000 people, just ahead of China at number 6 with 60 ‘pokos’ in every 10K people.

5. The first Senator of Homa Bay County was called Otieno Kajwang’. The second and current Senator of the same County is also known by the very same name ~ Otieno Kajwang. The two share more than just names and positions. They both came from the same scrotal sac, albeit different wombs

NIS Informer exposes Court cases lawyer Prof Ojienda used to mint Billions, Why DPP Ordered his arrest

By Matsanga David

THESE ARE SAMPLES OF THE CASES /TRUTH BE TOLD

HOW OJIENDA MINTS BILLIONS*

Prof. Tom Ojienda is one of Kenya’s richest lawyers. But his latest brush with the law has put a spot light on his past and how he made his billions.

WE HAVE OVER 2240 CASES THAT JUDGES HAVE GIVEN ORDERS AND WE SHALL NAME EACH AND EVERY CASE AND DEFENCE LAWYER AND THE JUDGE…….IT IS RAINING AND POURING IN 2019 Just watch space ,,,,,,,,,,

1. Cane Farmers VS Mumias Sugar Co (Kakamega 134/2014)
Ojienda files a case against Mumias on ‘behalf of Sugar cane farmers’ when Mumias plans to import sugar from Uganda to supplement low harvest. Only Kenyan farmers did not know the case was even in court. Mumias paid 12 million to Ojienda…none of which got to the clueless farmers.

2. Employees VS Mumias Sugar Co (Nairobi H.C 221/2013)

After Kidero introduces plans for an automated processor at Mumias, workers union ‘files’ a case against Mumias company against implementation of automation. Only workers at Mumias knew of the automation and knew nothing about the case. Ojienda cleared 15 million from Mumias in out of court settlement.

3. Kenya Consumers vs Mumias Sugar Co (Lamu 106/2011)
Increase in sugar price and severe shortage prompts Kenyan consumers to sue Mumias Sugar for bad faith. Ojienda files mega suit for 300 million. Again, case is settled out of court within a week for 30 million before media can publicize. Ojienda shares with his network, pockets 13 million.

4. Nairobi County vs Witchdoctors (Kibera 224/2014)
On behalf of Nairobi County, Ojienda files a case against advertising witch doctors services. The suite settles for 24 million, Ojienda and co pocket the money and the witch doctors didn’t even know they were being sued.

5. Residents Vs Nairobi County (urban planning committee) (Nairobi H.C. 705/2015)

Following flooding in Nairobi, case is filed against Nairobi County by residents of Kibera, Mathare and Kawangware. The residents didn’t know the case was even in court and the final settlement of 42.3 million is collected by Ojienda.

These are just a few of the bogus cases Prof. Ojienda used to make himself a billionaire.

He has a network of judges and lawyers who push the case through court and receive a cut from the payments and settlements.

These are the same lawyers and judges who are protesting his arrest.

WE SHALL NAME AND SHAME THE JUDGES ……..2019 IS KKAG …….,,,,,,

Disaster awaits Kenyans in 2019, the country is exposed to serious risks and Uhuru is CLUELESS

By E Njega

Nigeria’s debt to GDP ratio is around 22% but the country is already in a serious debt crisis with over 50% of revenues going into debt servicing.

This hype about debt to GDP ratio is reckless nonsense. We are in serious trouble if the man in charge of the country thinks this way.

Currently we are spending over 30% of revenues on debt servicing. This is beyond recommended limits.

Any little shock on the economy such as drought or currency depreciation will see all indicators blinking red in a very short time span.

This business of borrowing to maximum capacity has exposed us to serious risks. You haven’t heard the last on this issue.

Again I will fault Kenyan journalists for being shallow and lacking seriousness in their work. Uhuru gave the same answer on borrowing as he gave to Richard Quest a few weeks back. They should have prepared for this.

He claims that the debt has been well spent. The debt has almost tripled under his incompetent reign from KShs 1.8 trillion to KShs 5.2 trillion.

That means government revenues should also have nearly tripled to KShs 2.4 trillion which would make the debt sustainable and a non-issue. Revenues haven’t even doubled under Jubilee hence debt sustainability questions.

Forget about that nonsense of infrastructure spending taking long to bear fruits. Kibaki tripled debt and more than tripled revenues in ten years.

The journalists should have informed him that debt is paid using cash/revenues not using GDP.

Journalists should use facts when tackling economic issues.

Even the small rise in government revenues has been through increase in taxation rather than as a result of prudent debt investment.

Maina Wa Muchiri adds: “The right measure should always be debt to revenue ratio because the govt pays debts from tax and other revenue and not from the GDP. While a rising GDP means a rising revenue, the taxation level also comes into play meaning 2 countries with the same GDP could have extremely different tax revenue. So measuring debt against revenue gives a true picture of the problem”

Samuel Kairu says – “The funny thing is Nigeria has a GDP five times that of Kenya but a lower budget 27bn Vs Kenya 29bn USD. Compare and contrast that with South Africa annual budget of 103bn USD. The claim that Nigeria economy is larger than South Africa is just work of fiction”

Ekakoro Emm concludes- “I think we gave him this defense ourselves when we began citing that blasted ratio as an indicator that our debt was getting sustainable. So all he needed to do was say that other countries have worse ratios but are doing fine. Alternatively, if we refuse to buy that argument, he’ll rebase the GDP and show that the ratio is still in the clear. Either way, we can’t win. Only bankruptcy will win over us”

Why The Law is an ass hole

By Onyinkwa O

A fortnight ago, three little boys, all the sons of an army Sergeant at the Kahawa Barracks were playing near an abandoned quarry filled with water that is adjacent to the Barracks, when curiosity drew one of them into literally testing the waters with his two feet. He went in whole. When it took a couple of moments without him resurfacing, his elder brother feared the worst and took the plunge into the water in frantic attempt to rescue him.

When he too did not resurface after a couple of moments, the youngest of them ran back to their house to inform their dad who was sleeping. The dad shot out like an arrow to the place and dived into the pool in a desperate attempt to save his two little boys. He too did not resurface. All three drowned, and their bodies were retrieved a couple of hours later.

When the Sergeant’s wife ~ and mother to the boys ~ got the news, she was so distraught, she did not see the meaning of life, or purpose of living when three of the four people she lived for had gone like that ~ trying to save each other’s life. Overwhelmed with grief and the sudden withdrawal of the purpose of living, she tried to end her own life, and that of the only child she had left.

Thankfully, she was not successful, and both were rescued and are recuperating in a hospital in Nairobi. They were therefore not present at the emotional funeral for the departed trio that went down yesterday in Meru. The saddest bit of this tragedy though, is that as soon as she recovers, this lady will be arrested and hauled to court to answer to charges of attempted suicide, and attempted murder. She will thereafter be convicted and handed a long jail term that will see her little and only child grow up without the love of a father, mother and two brothers!

They say the law is an ass. I say the law is an ass hole!

Embarrassing Question that forced DPP Haji to release Lawyer Prof Tom Ojienda from Police custody- embarrassing

By Cyprian Nyamwamu via FB

This is my Question; Tom Ojienda is an officer of the court. So ingrained he is in the judicial processes that he interviews judges. If the DCI and DPP wrote him a note asking that he appears in court on Monday , will he fail to appear in court? Same to DCJ Mwilu’s arrest. These arrests are intended at demeaning, besmirching Judicial Service Commission members and officers of the court. There is no fighting of corruption going on here. Have a wonderful Sunday 1Peter 3:8-18

Suffering for Doing Good:

8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For,

“Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

11 They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.

12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”[a]

13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?

14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats[b]; do not be frightened.”[c]

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

IG Boinnet may be cursed if he targets Prophet Owuor over armed security

BODYGUARDS TO MEN OF GOD — Prophet Owuor.

Yes Dr David Owuor, the mighty Prophet of God had an elaborate security in Nakuru. If you have a problem with that, am sure wuod Luo paid for them handsomely and his money was received.

But why should the Inspector General of Police raise hullabaloos about Dr Owuor’s security while it has been the trend for years when he was in the same force?

Why should it even worry anyone?.

Some would opt to demean and belittle Dr Owuor with dirty epithets, rumours and taunts until they get demented!.

Abraham was a man of God. He had bodyguards protecting him..read the Bible!.

King David was a man of God. He had bodyguards and an army including a certain Abishai who came to his rescue when a giant from the lineage of the Philistines giants almost killed him ( read 2 Sam 21:15-17).

God planted a cherub and a flamming sword that could turn 360 degrees to guard the Garden of Eden. This is when Adam was chased out. Ask yourself this; God with all His Omnipresence and powers could have left the place unguarded, Not so??. Think!

Jesus picked only men as disciples both for spiritual deals and physical protection. This was deliberate. Its debatable. At one point, He instructed them to buy swords for protection..

Do not argue cheaply that God guides and protects. That God will not let his servants to fall in the hands of enemies. Human defence in religious ministry is necessary in case of disagreements WHICH IS BOUND TO OCCUR!.

Peter the disciple sliced someone’s ear to protect Jesus!. You remember?. Wasn’t this violence?. Jesus castigated him…

Jesus had enemies because he spoke the truth about Sabbath, religious rights, and tithes which the Pharisees and Sadducees were not comfortable with. Read Mat 21:45; 23:13.

In modern Christian ministry, we have today many “Pharisees and Sadducees” in our midst.

Therefore Men of God need physical protection for physical safety in case their lives as preachers may be in jeopardy.

As long as they do not harass people and use them strictly as rapid response force, the Bible allows it.

Don’t just heckle on this post. Produce Biblical references that oppose my view.

Thank you.

Graduates should be paid stipends for upkeep in Kenya claims MP Caleb Amisi

Unemployment has been a nightmare for many youths in the country, however jobless graduates may be paid monthly stipends if the planned bill of Saboti Member of Parliament (MP) Caleb Amisi is tabled before the Parliament.

MP Amisi bill is seeking to compel the Government to pay unemployed graduates until they get employment.

Amisi argued that many jobless graduates are frustrated and some are turning to crime by joining criminal gangs. The MP said he has drafted a Bill that will let the Government to put unemployed graduates on a payroll like the elderly persons.
Speaking in Kitale when he met students from various universities, Amisi argued that the Government has the responsibility to create jobs for the youth and lamented that many youths were engaging in crime due to unemployment.

He said it was uneconomic to leave skilled manpower underutilized.”I want to compel the government to pay stipends to all jobless graduates. The government has the responsibility to create jobs for our youth,” he said.
Some of the Al Shabaab fighters, he said, are Kenyan graduates who joined the militia group after getting frustrated in life.He said to disengage youths particularly the graduates from joining criminal gangs, they should be given hope through provision of stipends to help them buy basic needs.
“Apart from joining criminal groups, some of the graduates are involved in drugs, which is spoiling their lives,” said the lawmaker.
He argued that the government’s big four agenda will not be achieved if the youths in the country are overlooked. According to the legislator, his bill will propose introduction of free university education.
He said education of students from poor families is hampered by lack of fees with some being forced to abandon studies. To fund the free education, the lawmaker suggests, the merger of all bursaries in the national and counties should be done.

“We have seen a situation where university students move from one office to another in search of bursaries and some forced to discontinue studies due to lack of fee. We want free education in the university to end the suffering endured by students,” he said.
Adding that, “I want all bursaries merged and put in one kitty to support education of poor students. Some of the bursaries are being misused and not benefitting the needy,” said Amisi.
He said it is dismaying to see students desperately looking for bursaries due to poor status of their families.

Murathe should be disciplined, claims Ruto’s ally

Igembe Central MP Kubai Kiringo has called upon the Jubilee party to take immediate action on its deputy chairman David Murathe.

According to him, Murathe’s comments regarding lack of support for Deputy President William Ruto are ill-advised.

This comes a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta distanced himself from the remarks on 2022 succession politics.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon to Muuga FM, Kiringo further rubbished claims that leaders from the Mt. Kenya region will not support Dr. Ruto.

He claims that a decision during a meeting at Statehouse that was convened by the President, it was decided that they will support the DP and campaign for him too.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has since called for Jubilee party elections saying it is the only solution to the division caused by top officials over who the party will support in 2022.

Somber mood has hit a family after two children were bombed while they were herding goats at a field near Archer’s Post in Samburu County.

The incident took place where the Kenya Army School of Artillery conducts its annual ‘walk and shoot’ exercise.Family members identified the deceased as Ltarijan Lekoloi (nine) and his elder brother Ltoruwan Lekoloi (14).
They were both pupils at Lerata Primary School.Ltarijan sustained serious wounds in the abdomen while Ltoruwan lost both legs. They died at the scene.
Samburu Senator Steve Ltumbesi visited the family on Friday, blaming KDF for leaving behind explosives after exercises.

‘‘They are mandated to clear the field after the exercise which they don’t do. We want them (Department of Defence) to clear the entire range (of the live bombs) and compensate the affected families,’’ said the Senator.
Other leaders who have expressed concern include Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda, Woman Representative Maison Leshoomo and Governor Moses Lenolkulal.Alois Leariwala, an activist based in Archer’s, faulted both Kenya and the British Army for the incident.

Adding that they fire and fail to hire local youth who had been trained to clear training ranges.Earlier in the month, three children were killed and two others seriously injured in the same area.
Anthony Lekiluai said he lost a child in the first incident of the month, while Lemargero Stephano, whose child was injured, said the boy is undergoing treatment at Kiirua Catholic Mission in Meru town.
The two parents appealed to the State to relocate the training field from the area and have the army mop up the field and compensate families.

We are fast and slow at the same time thus missing out on new opportunities to maximize our potential

By Dr Wandia Njoya

So now the Kenya Schools and Colleges drama festival is adding a category of spoken word because, according to professors in charge, “young people today simply love the spoken word.”

A few years ago, the Music festivals added a rap category.

There’s no problem with the expansion of the schools and colleges festivals. My fear is that professors are supporting the neoliberal restriction of arts to entertainment and talent, and are not taking arts as a serious field of study. For example, do any of these professors adding these categories to the festivals actually teach appreciation classes on spoken word and rap in their universities? Do they invite artists to their classes? Or are they just going to role play as Simon Cowells at the festivals and judge people’s “talent”?

The other day, I tried to get Kenyan artists to take this talk of “talent” by KICD as an insult to arts education. The reception was lukewarm. It’s really strange to be asking artists to see ahead because we in the arts are the “see-aheaders” per excellence. We imagine and paint the pictures of the future with our colors, words and tunes.

So let me just say it again here. The new curriculum will kill the little arts education we have. By talking of talent, we are allowing the arts to be removed from the school and be subject to Tusker Project fame and school festivals, where all people do with art is compete for pay and glory.

But art also needs a space where people do it and appreciate it for more than just the market. We need art because art carries our identity and our history. It’s not just about money and fame.

Many decades ago, Kenyan writers were traumatized when Taban Lo Liyong called East Africa a literary desert. A few years ago, we had a disagreement with Prof Tom Odhiambo in the Nation after he complained about the quality of Kenyan novels. A few days ago, Kenyan musicians were angry that DJ Pinye said that Kenyan music recordings are of poor quality.

I don’t subscribe to these blanket condemnations of Kenyan artists. But, I think we have to consider that the critics may have a point. To have good art, artists must invest in knowing the arts of their ancestors. We have to know where we are coming from artistically, and who came before us. We have to understand our people so that our art reflects and speaks to them. We have to study our artists so that we add them to our Kenyan canon. Our art today must have echoes of the past, so that by consuming art of today’s artists, we are also being linked to the past and we are leaving a legacy for the future.

And yet, I have jazz students who don’t know who Hugh Masekela is. Every semester, I have to pep talk music students to accept the assignments of their lecturers to perform compositions by Thomas Wasonga or songs by Maroon Commandos, because the students think that doing that work is “irrelevant.” Some even admit that they don’t know or listen to African music. As a teacher, I cannot condemn them for thinking this way. I understand where they are coming from, and that’s why I have to pep talk them every semester.

Sometimes some students ask me how to become good writers, and I tell them that they have to read Kenyan novels to get a sense of what they can write about. They tell me, with no sense of irony, that they don’t see the point of reading Kenyan novels.

Students often send me requests to support their “talent” and self written plays. I tell them: to improve your craft, try also performing a play written by someone else. But no. Their point is their own talent. Not art. Not us, the people who must come and be tortured by their performances and clap politely because we want to “acknowledge that they have talent.”

As for film students…they talk about festivals and Oscars. When I ask them why they don’t put any Kenya novel on film, or why our oral narratives are not in cartoons so that kids are no longer hooked to cartoon network, they give me a blank look. Why are Elijah Masinde, Mekatilili, Syokimau, Wangari Maathai and other historical figures not on film, I ask? But they don’t read history, and one film maker told me that Kenyan stories are boring. The film students only start to get what I’m driving at when I remind them that most of the best actor and actress Oscars go to movies adapted from biographies and other historical books. They dont know that Lupita got an Oscar for playing a character from a real man’s life story.

So Kenyan artists: you can’t keep guilt tripping us into consuming your work. If you want us to listen to you, you must also listen to your artist elders and encourage us to listen to them too. And if you condemn me, guess what. We will never invite you to come talk with our students, and never stock your work in our libraries, and never force students to write term papers about you. (This semester, I had to compel a student to do a study of artists like Esther Wahome and Mercy Masika, because she was going to write for me an abstract paper about gospel artists without any reference to actual Kenyan artists). And when you’re fifty years old, no one will care for your work because the next hot thing is now playing on the radio, is liked by the Ian Mbugua’s of the day and is the winner of “Kenya’s got talent.”

And professors in the arts – please say something about KICD’s alienation of arts from the new system. Stop settling for competitions. Fight for a coherent arts education and for coherent arts institutions. KICD is not talking about arts. It has no plan for the arts. It talks about “talent” because this neoliberal government wants to kill arts education and leave the arts to the vulgarities of the market. And you know that if we have no arts for people’s sake, then we will stop being human.

While Hon Millie Odhiambo was away, Gladys Wanga danced her butt to 2022 ODM Homabay governor ticket

By Jerome Ogola via Facebook

We are in a long hoof eating safari, with Homa Bay as the flagging off point

If Gladys Wanga is to compete for anything within ODM, against Millie Odhiambo, Wanga will win. I say so because in such contests, proximity to Jakom is the keyword

From the closeness, I saw Wanga dance an old dance called waltz, with Jakom, Millie Odhiambo’s dream is dead on arrival. This is not to say that Wanga is a better candidate

Of course Milly is the deal. She has wrestled men in the ODM nominations, which has been nothing but violence and won three times. She has been baptized in fire. She is also close to Jakom, but here, Wanga is evidently closer

The goose that was her dream is cooked

I told Otuoma the same, that he won’t win any contest against Ojaamong, Raila’s SG in the now defunct NDP

Here, there is nothing like democracy. It is proximity to the party owner which matters. In a event that both contestants are far from Jakom, then the hotly contested tickets are hawked like mugombero the turbo charger in the streets of Kakamega, and sold to the highest bidder

The Mujahedeens of this party do not believe in criticism a factor which largely contributes to the thriving of this vice, in the party. This doesn’t in any way mean the other parties are clean

They too have lords who bend democracy to give way to their preferred candidates and Kabogo is a victim of the same

Away from this, across the frontier, seems sunset is fast approaching El Bashir’s tenure as Khartoum is uprising. Bashir, a career soldier and an ICC indictee seized power in a military coup in 1989

From Khartoum, we seek access DRC from it’s North Eastern frontier, via South Sudan, Africa’s last born nation which fought a decades long war, agitating for liberation from their Northern counterparts, but now that they’ve been granted that freedom, they do not know what to do with it

Many thought the country will learn from the numerous false starts of it’s elder siblings in the continent, and avoid the shortcomings that ocassioned their stagnated growth and take a path to prosperity, but that didn’t happen

They now turned the guns on each other. Once in DRC we will cut across it’s numerous forests and once we attain the waters of River Congo, locally known as “ebale ya zaire”, we can float westwards to Kinshasa

Of the river’s over 4000 kilometers, 2000 are navigable

Kinshasa and Brazaville, the capitals of DRC and Republic of Congo, sit on the banks of River Congo, opposite each other making them the two closest, capitals in the world and the biggest metropolis in Africa

Of course the Kongo tribe are found on both sides of the river and as Franco said in the song “congo mibale”, these are just one people separated by the colonialists boundaries, creating units to make imperialism very possible

If you intend to visit Brazaville from Kinshasa, all you have to do is swim across the river. DRC, despite having the word “democracy” as an acronym, has never known what democracy is all about. It has never had a peaceful transition or even a transition via elections

Lumumba was succeeded through an assassination. Kasavubu was overthrown by Mobutu who was later deposed by Kabila. Kabila was assassinated and that is how Rwandese Manamba Hypolite Kanambe became president

Kanambe hides behind a pseudonym Joseph Kabila

Sunset has come for this imposter’s tenure. In the two decades he has been in power, the only visible change he has brought to the country, is the growing and graying of his own goatie

There are uncertainties over the elections which are to happen on 30th, after being postponed several times. However, Kinshasa is not ready for another extension of his tenure, even through Shaddary, his proxy. A regime change is inevitable

We began this long safari in Homabay and Mululu, the home of Mudavadi is the ramp we are ending it. Apparently there is a vicious war within Jubilee, if Murathe’s revelations are anything to go by

In Swahili, this is called “vita vya wenyewe kwa wenyewe”. It’s giving us, we opposition apologists, some orgasm. The enemy is destroying himself

More hooves please

Good morning my fellow hoof eaters!!

Exposed: How the PA tricked the Minister’s daughter to chill out in a hotel room

PA’s defilement case from insider’s witness account

What happened is; the parents (Father & mother) and the girl checked into the hotel, they booked the girl her own room, then the girl called the PA and told him which hotel they are in and on which floor is her room. The guy went to the same hotel (Sarova Woodlands) and booked his own room on the same floor.

They continued chatting and the girl left her room to the man’s room. Na kazi ikaendelea. Maji yalizidi unga when the mother called the girl on the room’s fixed line, she didn’t answer, she called her mobile number and she also didn’t answer.

She started looking for her… went to the room and found she was not in the room… she went to the reception to enquire if she could have been seen going outside the hotel, she found nobody had seen her going out, she went to the restaurant and she was not there. The mother raised the issue to security, CCTV footage was checked and the girl was seen on the corridor walking from her room to the other room… by the time they went to knock the PA’s (man’s) room, the girl had gone back to her room. That’s now when the mother picked up an argument with the PA and she went to report.

Check on the charge sheet, witness number 2. Francisca Mulandi, is the mother to the girl. The mother had started blaming security of the hotel, but when she saw the footage and the girl was like nothing wrong has happened to her, she couldn’t believe!
That’s is the information from the security officer who was on duty.

Meanwhile blogger Wahome Thuku, a junior lawyer in the city had this to say about the sexual offences regarding minors:

THE law on sexual offences is ruthless. It was crafted in such a special way that instead of setting the highest punishment, it sets the lowest punishment you can get. For eleven years and below, the punishment is life sentence. For 12 to 15 yrs the least punishment is 20yrs in jail. For 16 to 18 yrs the sentence is 15yrs minimum. Don’t ask about the ages in between. There is no option of a fine. In fact at Makadara law courts in Nairobi, they told me they don’t give cash bail, its strictly bond and surety.

NOW why do I say its slightly better if the Minot was a willing player? If you forcefully defile a 16-yr old minor, there are chances she will report it when the evidence is still fresh. Bit if she is a willing player, she may conceal it for days or weeks or months and the evidence disappears. Either way if the evidence is available, her consent is not a defence.
Secondly, if the girl is a willing player, she can even lie to the court that she actually told you she is 19 yrs. That we she will be helping you escape.

What am saying is this, if you are charged with defiling a 17 yr old girl your lawyer will be keen to know if she was a willing participant or not. He will read her statement and read your lips. When the girl takes the stand to testify, one of the questions the lawyer will ask her is this, “has the accused person ever asked you how old you are? ” Yes” “And what was your answer?” “I told him Iam 19”.

THAT alone is defence. The law States that its a defence if the minor deceived you she/he is over 18. The second defence is if you reasonably believed he/she is over 18. That second defence is determined in regard to all circumstances and any steps you took to ascertain the age. So if the girl is big bodies and she actually tells the court she had given her age as 19, you will be on your way to freedom.

HOWEVER that does not apply if the girl is related to you by blood. In other words you can’t defile your cousin’s daughter and argue that she deceived you on her age. Now you know.

MUST READ: It is a serious crime to sleep with a boy or girl UNDER 18 Years of age

SLEEPING (or even attempting to sleep) with a boy or girl before his/her 18th birthday is one of the most serious crimes you can commit in Kenya. The question of him/her giving consent does not arise. Its however slightly better if he/she is a willing participant, its a disaster if you attempted to or actually forced her to do it. You are cooked.

Raila is not your ‘rika’ don’t make jokes of baba you will be cursed, the gods will send you to political oblivion

This is a piece I have been dying to write for quite some time and finally, after a couple of days of reading some ridiculous inanity about Raila Odinga from someone who shall remain nameless, I am here.

I write this piece in support of RAO even as I reiterate that the “handshake” between the man and Uhuru Kenyatta remains one of RAO’s biggest mistake – a move that gave legitimacy to the most corrupt and incompetent leadership in Kenya’s history and while forever stain his reputation as a stalwart against corruption and incompetence.

Having said that, let me also point out that there is someone who wakes up everyday having dreamt about RAO!

The individual begins their day with RAO on their mind and goes to bed with RAO on their mind.

They fall asleep with the man on their mind; see the man in their dreams and come morning, wake up and begins the cycle all over again!

This individual’s life is consumed by someone old enough to be their grandfather!

“Odondore gi RAO” – Sorry but there are somethings best characterized in DhoLuo!

“Owalo about RAO!” – He rants and raves about RAO!

“Olawo RAO!” – He is obsessed with RAO!

The foregoing characterizations speak to this individual’s entire raison d’etre i.e. reason for existence:

RAO 24/7/365 – All RAO All the Time!

To Whom It May Concern:

“Raila ok mbas ni” – Raila is not your agemate!

For the record, I used to abhor the expression “Raila ok mbas na; ok mbas ni” i.e. “Raila is not my agemate; not your agemate”. The aberration was predicated on the truism that the respect and reverence usually accorded elders, especially in the African culture – has all been wiped out.

How/Why?

Because the country has been screwed over by Raila’s agemates – persons whose ages are within twenty years either way of the man’s age – of 73years i.e. fifty to ninety years old.

I am sorry, but the country’s adults have NOT been good stewards of the country thus deserve little, if any, respect.

Daniel Moi’s greed brought the country to its knees and normalized blatant theft and employment of those singularly unqualified.

Mwai Kibaki’s selfishness triggered the post-election violence of 2007/8; the country’s worst spate of violence in its history.

And setting the stage for a corrupt and selfish gerontocracy was none other than the tribal supremacist person – curiously referred to as “Mzee” i.e. old person – Jomo Kenyatta!

So no, Kenya’s old mostly men and the other supposedly “mature” adults have not earned nor do they deserve the reverence they’d usually be accorded; this because they are single-handedly responsible for the shithole that the country currently is.

Having said that, let me also say that if there is any old man who deserves any respect, deserves some latitude for the incompetence selfishness of Kenya’s elderly, I’d argue that tis RAO.

He has given this ungrateful more than he has taken from it – unlike many people I know.

The man is not my agemate nor is he this individual’s rika AND unlike many of his agemates, Kenya’s grandparents, RAO has acted his age while looking out for the future of the country and by extension, that of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

So let me repeat this message; one I know the intended recipient shall receive:

“Raila ok mbas ni…We dondori kode…..wek walo about him…..We ri kode.”

Aaaah….I feel much better now!

Why intimidated and disrespected teachers can’t “nurture your kids’ talent.”

By Wandia njoya via fb
This is what parents are celebrating. Like the doctors, I wonder how parents think that intimidated and disrespected teachers can “nurture their kids’ talent.”

You cant force teachers to care. You have to care for teachers for them to care for your kids.
Just so you parents know, we teachers are not stupid. We actually read, and we actually create. My department teaches a hip hop class to teacher trainees because we want our teachers to be able to understand what kids they teach listen to and how young people think and create. I have taught on social media, tena to Canadian students, without having done a degree in it.

So we teachers are not as stupid as you think we are. Our problem is baba serikali in our faces all the time. If you want good teachers, tell the government to back off and let us do what we were taught to do. Let GoK just have teacher development programs and resource centers.

KICD is clueless about the latest education research, but somehow you think they are more credible about “talent” and the digital era. If they know so much, why cant they respond to our questions?

If you think we teachers are so stupid that we cant teach up to up to date and local material without getting it from Nairobi, from old folk who havent read anything new in a long time, then you are terrible parents. Because why put your kids in the hands of monsters like us?

Uhuru: China is a good partner in loans, ignore the Exim bank rumours

Propaganda. That is how President Uhuru Kenyatta has described reports that the Port of Mombasa could be taken over by China if Kenya defaults on paying its loan for the SGR.

“The issue of the take over of Mombasa Port by China is pure propaganda. We are ahead of our payment schedule for the SGR loan and there is no cause for alarm,” Uhuru said.

The President spoke on Friday during a round table discussion with journalists.

The president said though there has been public outrage and concerns about Chinese lending, his government will continue to borrow.

“We must appreciate where we are. All these issues are just a chicken in the egg. We are borrowing to handle the huge infrastructure deficit. It is not about incurring debt but how we use it,” he said.

Uhuru said it is not only China that is lending its money to Kenya but also Japan, France, Germany and America.

“China is not seeking to colonise us but they understand us to our point of need. By matter of fact we are ahead of the payment schedule and so Kenyans must ignore any propaganda being peddled. I will continue to borrow but develop,” Uhuru said.

Kenyans on Twitter, however, took issue with the President comparing Kenya’s debt to GDP ration with that of a first-world country – Japan.

Letter from Governor Kidero handman that forced Police to Arrest lawyer Tom Ojienda

From Meshack Dehay to Dr. Evans Kidero:
Bwana Governor, I believe you and your family members are well.
Sir, before the year ends, kindly allow me to remind you that there’s business I did with you, Prof. Ojienda, Francis Mburu, Dr. Kiplagat, George Wainaina, George Onduto and later Gad Awuonda was added. It was 23B compensation for the non-existent 58 acres of Mburu’s land in Ruaraka 7879/4 allegedly allocated by the defunct Nairobi City Council. You know the truth that arrangements were made by Lawyer Ombongi of City Hall to issue allotments for only 3 acres divided into 40×80 plots and not 58 acres.
On several occasions after our secret night meetings in your office at City Hall, I arranged meetings between Prof. Ojienda and Francis Mburu to fine-tune the deal at The Grand Regency Summit Club and at Dusit D2 Hotel in Riverside. On their own they had more meetings even at Kempinsky to seal it and from what I came to learn later an agreement was signed for Nairobi City County to pay Mburu Kshs. 4.6B annually until the money is paid in full.
When this deal was reached, I was kept out by you, Prof. Ojienda and Mburu and every time I enquired, I was told by Mburu that the deal would be sealed when you get re-elected. But you had already sealed it and kept me, the original coordinator out.
When I disagreed with Mburu over past payments and decided to reveal the dirty part of what he had done in the past, I left this deal out due to the respect I had for you and Prof. Ojienda not only as my friends but also as my brothers. I knew this is a deal that would help you, Mburu, Dr. Kiplagat, Prof. Ojienda, George Onduto and I be on our feet again especially after the gruelling campaigns. I was wrong. You, Prof. Ojienda and Mburu are all greedy. Onduto and I were to get Kshs 2B to share, Dr. Kiplagat and Prof. Ojienda 1.5B each, You, Gad Awuonda and George Wainaina 8B and Francis Mburu 10B. That’s was the initial verbal agreement.
From February, you and Prof. Ojienda have refused to take my calls.
Since I will not be benefitting, am left with no choice but to blow it up so that we all lose and go to jail together.
Before I blew up the other Mburu deals, I politely as am doing now tried to talk to Mburu and told him I was not the problem in vain. As you can see, my share was the smallest but you people want everything for yourselves.
Like what we did in the past with you, while in Mumias you still owe me 1.5M, in the Express Automations deal, you owe me 1.1M as you sent your bodyguard Kennedy Obuya, the current MCA for Imara Daima to collect the 6M for you from Paresh and Ram instead of me bringing it to you as I did the first batch of 5M. The deal was 11M, yours 9M and mine 2M but you gave me 900,000/= when I brought the 5M to your house in Muthaiga. Remember you were afraid to take the money directly from the Asians and asked me to keep it and I kept the money in my house for 3 days. If I was a bad man, I would have taken everything since you owed me money in the past deal at Mumias but I wanted to build a relationship based on mutual trust.
I was wrong. You went ahead and helped the Asians supply water purification chemicals at Nairobi Water Company at 46M. From the above, am I the one who has wronged you, Prof. Ojienda and Mburu or you guys are the ones who take me for a full at every point and turn? I have very good working relationship with the ODPP, DCI and EACC new broom Major Twalib Mubarak Abdallah is my personal friend. I know I was in the above deal with you guys, but you are forcing me to become a Whistleblower and a State Witness from the 30/12/18 mid day.
You once told me you have the means to kill and the money to cover-up the murder of anyone who may threaten your interests in politics and business. On the above sir, am like Al Shaabab, am ready to die or be in Kamiti with you guys.
Merry Christmas

Slayqueens! why eating burgers and pizza frequently delays pregnancy

Courtesy
Women who shun fruit or eat lots of fast food take longer to get pregnant and are less likely to conceive within a year, according to a study released Thursday.

A nearly no-fruit diet compared to one loaded with three or more pieces per day added about two weeks, on average, to the time of conception, researchers reported in the peer-reviewed journal Human Reproduction.

And women who consumed fast foods such as burgers, pizza and deep-fried chicken four or more times a week compared to those who never or rarely touched the stuff took an extra month to become pregnant.

“These findings show that eating a good quality diet that includes fruits and minimising fast food consumption improves fertility and reduces the time it takes to get pregnant,” said lead researcher Claire Robers, a professor at the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Earlier research on food and pregnancy has focused mostly on the diet of women diagnosed with, or receiving treatment for, infertility. The impact of maternal diet before conception among women more generally has received scant scientific attention.

To help fill that gap, Roberts and a dozen colleagues in Australia, Britain and New Zealand combed through data gathered through questionnaires by midwives between 2004 and 2011 in all three countries for the Screening for Pregnancy Endpoints (SCOPE) survey.

Bizarre things your body might do during pregnancy
Detailed answers given by nearly 5600 women in the early phase of pregnancy focused on what they ate in the months preceeding conception.

All of the women were first-time mothers, and only a relative handful 340 had received any kind of fertility treatment before becoming pregnant.

The results showed a clear link between the avoidance of fruits or a fondness for fast-food fare, on the one hand, and a longer “time-to-pregnancy” or higher risk of infertility, on the other.

At the extremes, for example, lots of fast food as opposed to none at all increased the risk of not becoming pregnant by 41 percent.

“We recommend that women who want to become pregnant should align their dietary intakes toward national dietary recommendations for pregnancy,” said lead author Jessica Grieger, a researchers at the University of Adelaide.

The results were adjusted to take into account the potentially adverse impact on fertility of advanced maternal age, obesity, smoking and alcohol consumption.

Exposed: How jubilee risks being dissolved

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has raised concern of a looming internal division in the ruling Jubilee due to members’ contradictions on important party matters.

Waiguru called on party’s top leadership to counter the split by organising a vote to elect officials who can authoritatively and objectively make statements about their position on political and development issues.

In her tweet,Waiguru was apparent that statements like those by party Vice Chairperson David Murathe which were opposed by another group of members was a big threat to party’s unity.

“It is therefore imperative, and in order, that the Jubilee Party hold party elections soonest possible, to forestall internal divisions, and ensure that statements are made by elected party officials, and that they in fact represent the views of the Jubilee party as a whole,” Waiguru said.

@AnneWaiguru
It is therefore imperative, and in order, that the Jubilee Party hold party elections soonest possible, to forestall internal divisions, and ensure that statements are made by Elected Party Officials, and that they infact represent the views of the Jubilee Party as a whole.

She said the sure solution to the hurdle was formulating a legitimate leadership team endorsed by majority members and bestowed mandate to speak on behalf of the party whenever necessary.

The county chief made it clear that Jubilee lacked a leadership with a legitimate mandate which would make it difficult to get, maintain and enhance people’s support.

Murathe’s recent statement calling on Deputy President William Ruto to retire in 2022 since there was no signed pact between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta turned Jubilee members against one another with one faction backing him and another rubbishing the sentiments.

Waiguru said Jubilee was a national party and needed to always demonstrate unity of purpose and portray undivided support for Uhuru’s Big Four Agenda, accelerated development and enhancement of devolution for the good of Kenyans.

David Murathe’s remarks exposed DP Ruto’s troubles, ‘handshake’ a bridge to KANU 100 years rule

By E Emm

I hear David Murathe said something, and it suddenly has a section of Kenyans going orgasmic. That is the main tragedy with Kenyans; they have no principles, and subscribe to no moral code. My moral code says if I don’t like the Baniani, then I don’t like his shoe too, japo ni dawa. When the same Murathe talked a year ago about a dictatorial Uhuru the same demographic crucified him. It is not lost on anyone that Uhuru is living to that prophecy, and we’re none the better for it.

I wish to hereby state that Ruto may represent everything that is wrong with Kenya, but he is hardly the problem. He is only one of the symptoms. Our main problem is absence of a value system. That is why we rejoice when a man who doesn’t give a hoot about the ordinary Kenyan makes a declaration that seemingly is good for the Kenyan, only that it isn’t.

First of all that declaration is born out of betrayal. When you rejoice that someone has betrayed a trust with someone you hate in order to make you happy, you miss the point. For there is a time your interests will diverge and he will betray you too without a second thought. In any case, it has not been demonstrated that NOT having Ruto as president is good for Kenya. As long as the Kenyan has no say, even having Pope Francis as our future president will not be good for us.

We are happy that Ruto is being betrayed and neglecting to think what hidden harm to our general well-being and value system that does. It won’t be long before we learn that we have been played, and if history is anything to go by, it will be too late by then.

If on the other hand the two #Handchequers announced that they were reforming the IEBC and making it truly independent, and were embarking on civic education among Kenyans to enable them make informed choices, I might sit up and enjoy. But between you and me, the Catholic Church and the Seventh Day Adventists will kiss and make up before any of that happens.

I understand that in a situation such as the one the Despicable Duo have thrown us, which has unfortunately degenerated to the Despicable Trio after the #Handcheque, where despair is all we can see, any mirage is to be rejoiced at. I don’t want to spoil your season’s festivities, so, #KeepOnDreaming. Hopefully, you will wake up one day and realise that the right thing to do is to drive all those masquerading thugs out of town without mercy.

Well, dont be surprised when the handshake turns out to be a bridge for KANU to hit 100 years hold on power, picture a scenario where baba is forced to support Musalia in order to bury DP Ruto politically then Ruto re-engineers himself and ten years biunces back takes over from Mudavadi or worse /better still Gideon Moi takes over from Musalia and then boom Jomo wa Uhuru will be ready 20 years from now to take over from Mzee Gideon and he will do his 10 years and finally hand over to mkongwe Winnie Odinga to finally realise the Jaramogi dream- that will be a cool 99 years of total KANU rule by the a son of Charles Nyachae will be of age and Kisii’s will have numbers now that they are spreading seed to Lilian Mulis, Betty Kyallos and Shiro’s of this world….

Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli spent Boxing Day with her ex-husband, Moses Njuguna Kanene and their son Josh, just 48 hours after breaking up with her latest baby daddy business mogul Jared Nevaton.

Lilian, who has been in the news following her bitter breakup with Nevaton, whom she has branded a ‘community husband’, took to social media to post a picture of her ex-husband and their son Joshua Munene.

Altercation with waitress

Following her divorce, a video of the beauty getting into a verbal altercation with a waitresswent viral.

Later, she attributed the incident to drinking too much due to stress brought about by the divorce.

“I started drinking a lot when I left Josh’s dad. I had moved from Karen, got a new life with Josh, but one day, after three years I realized that I was actually separated and trying to wear a face that everything was okay; all while still looking good on TV.

“I had a public meltdown. I screamed at someone at a restaurant and a patron recorded the entire incident which later went on social media,” she said.

According to the mother of two, the incident made her realize how fake her friends were

Why Ruto is the number one enemy of Handshake

Deputy President William Ruto’s allies from the Coast region renewed their onslaught against the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former PM Raila Odinga.

This time, the leaders, who spoke in the presence of the DP, said they want Uhuru to explain Raila’s role in the Government. Never mind the question is irrelevant since Raila has not joined the Government. He is still the leader of the Opposition. Ruto’s allies were simply undermining the President, who has responded to this concern before. He has stated that the ‘handshake’ has nothing to do with 2022 succession politics.

Uhuru said he made peace with Raila after both realised their political differences were driving Kenya in the wrong direction. It is worth noting the DP’s allies spoke just days after Uhuru had concluded his visit to Kisumu.

Ruto, who accompanied the President during the Kisumu visit, claimed he had reconciled with Raila. He also assured residents he fully supported the ‘handshake’ contrary to impression he was against the deal. However, the DP was just playing politics, if sentiments by his allies are anything to go by. He does not believe in peace between Uhuru and Raila.Image result for ruto raila 207During the 2007 elections, the DP was a key ally of Raila. He stood firmly behind him, even during the post-election violence, unlike other members of the Pentagon, ODM’s top decision making organ, who seemed to have developed cold feet. That is why many people are asking what happened between the once bosom friends, Raila and Ruto?

Either way, attacks Ruto and his allies have directed at Raila are only meant to push a political agenda, not to resolve challenges facing the country. Ruto, who is hoping to succeed Uhuru in 2022, fears Raila could scuttle his plans. Yet Kenya is a democratic country governed by the rule of law, where anyone has a right to vie for any seat. And in 2022 election, Kenyans will get another opportunity to elect the president of their choice.Image result for big 4 agenda uhuru

For President Kenyatta, he is busy pushing for the implementation of the ‘Big Four’ agenda as he seeks to leave behind lasting legacy. In light of this, you would expect him to support a candidate who will safeguard his legacy and continue supporting the projects he is initiating. He is currently focusing on building a peaceful and cohesive country and winning the war against corruption. In most cases, Ruto has steered clear of succession politics. However, does that mean his allies are tearing into the Uhuru-Raila deal without his blessing? No! They speak for him. If this was not the case, we would have seen him tell them not to attack the ‘handshake’. He, however, keeps quiet because it works for him.

Murathe has no weight in politics, Conman , claims

Deputy President William Ruto’s allies continue to criticise Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe over his remark that the DP should retire in 2022.

The latest critic is Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa who referred to Murathe as an “ignorant busybody”.

“The man is nothing but a political con; a busybody. At a time Kenya is enjoying political tranquility, we vehemently refuse as leaders to be herded by a man suffering from paucity of knowledge,” he said on Thursday.

Barasa, a Jubilee MP, said the country is focused on unity.

“Murathe is a vacuous, fatuous, bibulous slacker not worth the company of any sound man,” he said.

“As President Uhuru Kenyatta retires in 2022, Deputy President William Ruto will be succeeding him as President, for a period not less than 10 years. That way, Jubilee’s development trajectory would remain undisturbed.”

Earlier, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa said only President Kenyatta as the party leader and Ruto as deputy can give party direction — and no one “masquerading” as a Jubilee official.

“The two humble gentlemen have not contradicted each other and they are not about to contradict each other in the near future. Who elected him [Murathe] to that office? Which constituency does he represent? From where does he draw his mandate?” Ichung’wa asked. He rubbished Murathe as a political broker posing as the Jubilee vice chairman.

Nandi senator Samson Cherargei hit out at Murathe, calling him an “insignificant politician without any authority to speak for the party”.

“This is a man seeking cheap relevance by attacking the Deputy President, because anybody seeking political relevance must attack the DP,” Cherargei said.

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo had also hit out at Murathe saying he had no authority to speak on Jubilee’s behalf.

DP Ruto cornered, as Uhuru prepares to rule via Musalia for long unless Lung Cancer Slows him down

By Sospeter Mwangi

Ruto is being cornered and encircled and I don’t know whether he has the wherewithal to deal with it.

How would Ruto be were he just some opposition leader without portfolio and government networks… can he be formidable?

Raila has been through a whole 5 yr cycle out of government and still launched a formidable campaign in 2017… can Ruto do that?? Who is Ruto minus the DP position? The answer to this question can tell you what his real clout is….

Why is Uhuru interested in multiple centers of power in the non-Gema zones? He is courting Kalonzo, Raila, Mudavadi and Ruto all under parallel political deals, while his central Kenya backyard remains a monolithic bloc firmly behind him… which gives him the upper hand in the negotiating table… meaning he isn’t becoming lame duck, and hopes to be in this game for a long time probably as PM unless maybe COPD or lung cancer slows him down…

Either way, as PM or whatever form, Uhuru wants a third term…. and the choice of Musalia Mudavadi points to a man seeking to be powerful Prime Minister with a malleable ceremonial president that he can control. Only Musalia can be controlled. Raila or Ruto aren’t malleable which is why the lights shine on the Rt Hon Musalia Mudavadi son of Mululu.

A Musalia Mudavadi ceremonial presidency guarantees Uhuru being in charge for a long time to come…. Raila is just a flower girl being harnessed for a greater and more focused political objective brilliantly executed. HAIL MT KENYA OLIGARCHS, they the game!

DP Ruto is busy blindly amazing wealth through dubious ways surrounded by lazy intellectual dwarfs like Duale, Murkomen etc,the man from Sugoi is one man kiosk, he takes no counsel, he has no known technical advisors, he has handlers whose agenda is to accumulate wealth.

Somebody tell DP Ruto that TV eloquency and political rallies do not win presidency, not sure really why he is repeating Raila Odinga mistakes. The DP has no good messaging team in place, Mugonyi and Talamu as just there to earn salary the other team he inherited from Statehouse led by Itumbi are marking time waiting for direction from the oligarchs. Kwa ufupi, DP Ruto is finished,, not even a miracle can help him and thus he should not bother prophet Awuor for such…

DP Ruto did not help Uhuru win presidency in 2013, 2017, we rigged elections, hakuna deni!

DP Ruto’s surrogates full of brown envelopes are running around claiming Mt Kenya region should reciprocate and vote him in 2022 to a man as their Kalenjin counterparts did in 2013 and 207. They claim Ruto helped Uhuru to become president!

Well, Mt Kenya region has hit back saying the region feels and owes DP Ruto nothing, they say it is Uhuru who helped Ruto become a deputy president with immense powers commanding half of government executive positions including cabinet. It is on record that 2013 elections were massively rigged by the system that was controlled by Mzee Kibaki regime (read Kikuyus) and DP Ruto contributed nothing!

In 2017 again, elections were rigged by the system and later when Supreme Court nullified elections there was no competition since Raila boycotted again and therefore DP Ruto had no role and helped Uhuru with nothing.

DP Ruto has stuck with President Uhuru, sticking in government like a TICK sucking public resources via cartels in Energy sector, Agriculture sector and Transport sector. The Kikuyu nation is arguing that DP Ruto has benefited more than even Uhuru himself and therefore he must as well retire with Uhuru come 2022.
