Genius DP Ruto May Endorse Mudavadi To Scuttle Uhuru’s Project Raila

No disrespect to Retired President Moi, but those of us who have been around old people know that there is an age where what they care about is listening to Music and hugs from their grandchildren.

When Uhuru goes to Kabarak, he is going to speak to Man Gidi. And he is going to speak with him about those things that you can’t speak over the phone.

Rather than Ruto throwing shades at Uhuru Kenyatta how he has failed and it’s only Ruto that has the brain to turn around our economy (I thought Ruto has been part of those in-charge of our economy over the last 6 years), he should plan on being a King maker in 2022.

I would have loved to encourage chicken sellers but the truth is, that thing is gone.

Ruto however can remain relevant post 2022 if he decides to support someone else for the presidency in 2022. And his best bet is Mudavadi, not Wetangula or Eunice Wamalwa!

Imagine the vote rich Luyhaland, Rift Valley and Mt Kenya rallying behind Musalia Ruto ticket? Baba will be forced to retire at 10am!

Dear “Other” Kenyans, In Love And Politics, Trust KIKUYUS At Your Own Risk

By The Albert Nyakundi Amenya aka The Bana Peddler

Shakespeare said in Julius Caesar: “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves

When I tell my fellow compatriots not to trust Kikuyus in anything political, they never trust me. Kikuyus are hypocrites and cannot be trusted. They will only bring you closer when they want something from you. If you see a Kikuyu bringing you close, it is because there is something they are gaining from you. Even their women, if you are a non-Kikuyu man for instance, and have a beautiful Kikuyu wife or girlfriend, what binds you is your money. Not love. – Please.

Show me one black-broke-Luo man successfully that married a beautiful brown-skin Kikuyu girl and lived happily after. If you are a Westerner and happen to be espoused to a Yellow-Yellow Kikuyu woman, know from today that she doesen’t love you. She loves your money and that is the truth. I am not asking you to divorce her, I am only reminding you of the time bomb that might explode the moment you are officially declared bankrupt, hence, resourceless. If you want to confirm my statement, go back in the evening and tell her you’ve lost your job. She will never be the same again.

I nonetheless take courage to admit that we men from Western Kenya are idiots. We know the consequences of marrying these people but we still do it anyway. To confirm our stupidity, a Luo man marries a Kikuyu woman but the only Language known and spoken by ‘his’ children are Gikuyu. The only thing they know about Luo is that their father is one. If you ask them their tribe, they will proudly tell you they are Kikuyus. Isn’t that stupidity?

A Kisii man marries a Kikuyu woman but all the second names of his children are Matheri, Wanugu, Nyambura, and Nyagothie, amarieta ye’ Chisimbiri nyamoibi. There is nothing like Nyakundi, Kwamboka, Osoro, Nyangeti, Onkubokia or Nyabicha, very beautiful names. Isn’t that the highest degree of foolishness? A

Luhya man marries a Kikuyu woman and they live in Nairobi but the only Ushago his children know is that of their mother’s side, Nyeri and not Khwisero. The only grandmother and grandfather they know are their mother’s parents. Worse still, they refer to their grandparents as Guka and Shosho – whatever the spellings – but not in Bukusu or Maragoli.

You see, if you are a Luo man married to a Luo woman, or are a Kisii man married to a Kisii woman, or are a Luhya man married to a Luhya woman, no man, money or lack of it, will put you asunder. With, or without food in the house, the situation remains normal. The love remains uninterrupted. She will make love to you as usual without making any changes. But my friend, if you are married to a Kikuyu woman and she sleeps hungry once, that night be sure that the atmosphere will change. There will be no peace in that house. She will either take it to sleep on the couch, or sloop with you on the same bed with her face glued to the wall.

Any attempt to touch her will be met with maximum force of rejection. She will avoid you as if you were suffering from leprosy. The next morning, she will pack everything, take all your children and go rent her house. Funny enough, the most intriguing nuance about Kikuyu women is how they bewitch your children that even if they are over eighteen, they will pick her side when you disagree. If you fight with their mother, they will join forces and beat you like mburukenge. If you divorce, they will go with their mother.
KIKUYUS Are Hypocrites In Politics Too..

The same applies when it comes to politics. Kikuyus are hypocrites. They are political vultures and opportunistic. They are masters at deception. Before the re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta as President, members of the Kikuyu community confessed that through Jubilee, Uhuru and Ruto would rule for 20 years, 10 for Uhuru and the remaining 10 for Ruto. Because Kikuyus wanted the electoral support of Kalenjins, they baptized their son William Ruto in waters of accolades. It was evident that minus the Kalenjin vote, Uhuru would not have been re-elected as President.

Kalenjins delivered and now they want to kick them out. One might castigate me for unmasking political opportunistic tendencies of the Kikuyus but I believe it is imperative to stand on the right side of history and believe in the courage of your conviction. The problem with Kenyans is that when you behave normal in an abnormal society, they say you are abnormal. But when you exhibit abnormal behaviors in a normal society, they canonize and glorify you. Kenya is a nation full of contradictions.

After using William Ruto and Kalenjins, now they are dumping them. In order for them to successfully do it, they realize they need the backing of Raila and Luos. As a result, they have purportedly accommodated Raila and Luos in their government. But Raila and Luos seem to have shorter memories. They have fallen to their hypocrisy and sunk with their heads. But one must ask, are these Kikuyus not the same people that used to admonish Raila and Luos, calling them all sorts of names when they were fighting over power?

The other day Moses Kuria was given a heroic welcome in Kisumu by Luos. But isn’t this the same Moses Kuria that gave machetes to his brothers – members of the Mungiki – and ordered them to circumcise and kill all Luos starting with Raila? What changed? Yesterday Moses Kuria was the greatest enemy of the Luos but today he is their dearest friend. What changed? The fact remains that Kikuyus have never, and will never love Luos, unless for temporary political convenience. Kikuyus have never, and will never love Kalenjins unless for temporary political convenience. In fact, Kikuyus have never, and will never love non-Kikuyus (including their slaves Merus) unless for temporary political convenience.

As a humble Banana Peddler from banana land, I wish to caution members of the Luo community not to make fun of the Kalenjin rejection by Kikuyus. Sio ati nyinyi ni wazuri saaana. Sio ati wakikuyu wanapenda saana vile mnajidanganya. Unless you are fools but the clever ones know I am right because they are aware of whom they are dealing with. The same fake love they are showing you, they showed it to Kalenjins when they we dealing with you, before turning against you.

Now they are showing the same love while dealing with Kalenjins but its just a matter of time. When their mission is done, when they get rid of Kalenjins and take full charge of government as we head to the next elections, they will kick you out again and invite Kalenjins afresh to deal with you. But until then, time will tell. Otherwise, you’ll come looking for me here in Kisii town where I merchandize my bananas and tell me I was right.

JAMBO PAY Proves Critics Wrong, Emerges The Best As Counties Embrace Its Services

JamboPay, the youth-owned company that collects revenue in Nairobi City County, has proved to be equal to the task if what is going on Nairobi County is anything to go by. Since it took over during Kidero’s time, the company has been able to maintain its systems with very limited hitches.

The recent disclosure by Nairobi County current regime that revenue collection had shot up is evidence of the effectiveness of the company. At a time when counties are grappling with manual revenue collection, JamboPay comes in as the proverbial stitch in time that will save nine.

From a paltry Kshs. 7 to Kshs. 10 million shillings that Kidero used to collect, the Sonko regime with the help of JamboPay raised revenue collection to between Kshs. 70 million and Kshs. 100 million. This is the money that has enabled Nairobi County to finance a huge number of capital projects such as road construction that is now ongoing.

According to financial analysts from the Centre for African Progress (CAP), JamboPay is the only company that has dedicated itself to the strengthening of revenue collection infrastructure in the whole country. Its high level digital platform allows for the entry of various revenue streams that are captured as soon as taxpayers make their payment digitally. By the end of it all, the user, in this case the county government, can easily tell how much money was collected from what revenue stream.

Nairobi is the country’s largest county with about 70% of the country’s GDP. Meaning that if JamboPay has managed to handle revenue collection in Nairobi, there is no county where it cannot carry out the task. Other counties are seeking to go the digital way, and a good number of them are not ready to gamble with newcomers in the field, hence the unquestionable upper hand JamboPay has in this area.

At a time when the EACC and other anti-graft agencies are keen on what the County Chiefs are doing as far as tender allocation, revenue collection, and revenue utilization are concerned, the safest choice for most of these counties will be to employ the services of an entity with proven systems, and this way, JamboPay will get an obvious advantage. Even the NHIF found the JamboPay systems so good that it allowed its clients to pay using its platform. This is definitely a ringing endorsement of confidence.

A survey by the Centre for African Progress (CAP) regarding the confidence of Kenyans on banks being allowed to collect revenue in counties revealed that 86% of the citizens feel that banks exist to benefit from the people without necessarily helping them improve their financial standing, thus detesting the idea of banks getting into the revenue collection sector in the counties.

Douglass Maranga, a CAP financial researcher and analyst notes that any county that hires a bank to collect revenue will be entering into treacherous waters. “It is basically as bad as working with an unknown entity. Even public goodwill won’t be there since Kenyans view banks suspiciously,” he added.

It also helps that JamboPay is in the hands of the youth, hence giving the counties that give it the revenue collection job a chance to prove that they are indeed committed to promoting young people who have hitherto remained behind in securing tenders both in the national government and the devolved units.

Counties that are in the process of digitizing their revenue collection include Turkana, Kisii, Nyamira, Laikipia, Nyeri, Bungoma, and Siaya.

Citizen TV news anchor Ann Kiguta is set to join Jubilee mouth piece K24. She moves together with Alex Murungi.

Kiguta who moved from KTN years ago seem to have been overshadowed by the many high profile news anchors that have been unveiled by Citizen TV.

In 2018, Kiguta was seen as holding brief for Jubilee in her TV shows.

Kiguta is a Rusinga school and Daystar university alumnae, born into a upper middle class family in Buruburu and later moved to Kilimani.

Man marries his Sister in bizarre matrimonial union In Kakamega – VIDEO

By HILARY KIMUYU for  Nairobi News

Two siblings from a village in Kakamega county have evoked the wrath of their clansmen for their strange decision to get married and live as man and wife.

And in order to avert what elders of Mugai village in Malava have termed as generational curse, an elaborate traditional cleansing ceremony has been done on the two who are said to be in their early twenties.

The cleansing ceremony involved punishing the couple, Fred Makokha and Rebecca Makokha, with 10 strokes of the cane each, in full view of gathered villagers.

<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/wr7BuTqdaWQ” frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>

The clansmen said the event was meant to teach the two a lifetime lesson to avoid a repeat of the same and also to prevent a possible curse.

“If the two are left alone to live as man and wife, they will never be able to raise a family. All their children would keep dying,” one of the village elders said.

A bull was also slaughtered and the intestinal components smeared on the victims to wade off a potential curse, during the ceremony that was only attended by men.

The two offenders, who had their hands tied together, were not required to utter a single word throughout the entire proceeding.

STOP Being Petty, Hon Abdikadir Mohammed Lectures Uhuru Over Cutting Judiciary Budget

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s former advisor Abdikadir Mohamed has added his voice to those criticising the huge reduction of the Judiciary’s budget in the 2018/19  budget.

Mohamed said it was unjustifiable that the amount of money allocated to the Judiciary was lower than what had been allocated in 2012, while the other arms of government have received increased allocations since then.

How can the Judiciary Budget allocation be less than what it was in 2012.when the National budget and that of Parliament have ALL gone up by over 50% during the same period,” the former State House official tweeted.

The Harvard-educated lawyer spoke a few days after Chief Justice David Maraga told Kenyans to brave themselves to significantly slow service delivery on account of the budget cuts.

We are at a loss on what to do with the allocation as it is now, it means a number of projects especially on construction across the country will literally stop affecting service delivery,” Maraga said on the development.

The Judiciary had Judiciary requested for Sh31.2 billion to support its operation in the 2018/19 financial year but ended up with Sh14.5 billion, most of it going to recurrent expenditure.

Deputy President William Ruto has since promised to resolve the matter.

Kenyans Use Their Hearts More Than Brains In Making Decisions; Uhuru Voted Along Tribal Lines

DO KENYANS USE THEIR HEARTS MORE THAN THEY USE THEIR BRAINS IN ARRIVING AT DECISIONS?

By Gilbert O Kenya

Most Kenyans are an overly sentimental lot. No wonder entire communities suspend any form of reasoning whenever politicians tell them that “our people are targeted.”

The latest confirmation that most Kenyans use their hearts more than they use their heads to think is the case of one Ruth Kamande, a murderous beauty queen who stabbed her boyfriend 25 times, in a feat of rage, leaving him dead three years ago. That was murder most foul.

While in remand awaiting judgment, she threw a spanner in the works. She strutted her stuff on the catwalk, flaunting her stunning beauty before Kenyan men – most of whom belong to the “MAFISI SACCO.” Know what i mean?

This did not only win her the Miss Prisons Kenya beauty pageant crown, but it also won her many Kenyan hearts, especially those of men. You can already guess why.

She did not just stop there, she went ahead to sit for her KCSE, while in prison, and scored an A-, besides training as a paralegal. This earned her the tag of a beauty with brains – a rare combination in a city known to host several slay queens with pretty but empty heads.

This won her even more hearts and made her a darling of the equally sentimental Kenyan media. Then, without warning, came the bombshell: a death sentence!

On Thursday last week, while giving her ruling, Justice Jessie Lesiit said Ruth Wanjiku Kamande deliberately stabbed her erstwhile boyfriend Farid Mohammed 25 times.

The Justice warned that “young people should know it is not cool to kill your boyfriend or girlfriend, instead it is cool to walk away from such a relationship when it breaks down”.

Kenyan men (especially members of team Mafisi) are now drooling all over social media, wondering how an “evil” judge could give a stunning beauty like Ruth Kamande a death sentence! How could she have the audacity to send a beauty queen to the hangman at the stroke of a pen? What a waste of such a beauty!

Listen guys, the law is totally blind to physical attributes of any culprit and too much sentimentalism. Whether ugly or angelically beautiful, they all get treated equally before the law. The courts will only analyze facts surrounding the crime in question, in order to establish the motive of the suspect beyond reasonable doubt.

From whichever angle you look at it, stabbing a fellow human being 25 times can never be an accident or an act of blind rage. It’s murder most foul. She ensured that the young man was as dead as a dodo.

Each stab was deadly enough to kill the poor boy child. So, this lady wanted to kill the young man 25 times!

Life is sacred and no human being has the right to end the life of another in such a gory manner as Ruth did. Right there you have a capital offense!

Justice Lesiit’s severely punitive sentence is not necessarily aimed at inflicting the worst pain that there is on the murderous beauty queen.

Reading through her ruling, it’s evident that she wants Ruth’s case to serve as an example to others. She wants her sentence to be a deterrent to any such thoughtless murderers in future.

As much as human beings are animals, whose animalistic instincts of self preservation sometimes get the better of them, there is a reason why the Creator gave humans a Superior brain compared to all other members of the animal kingdom.

The human brain is very capable of controlling any base instincts and making reasonable judgments on the spur of the moment. A human being is able to choose between right and wrong in an instant. There is nothing like being murderous in a feat of rage.

Stabbing a person once might be an accident but 25 times, NO! That’s premeditated murder. Besides, kitchen knives are not kept in the bedroom. She knew exactly what she wanted to do when she went for that knife.

Am I the only one who has noticed that most of the people who have come out strongly in defense of the ex prisons beauty Queen are men? I think the MAFISI SACCO should be disbanded for misleading men.

It’s high time Kenyans stopped using their hearts to think and began using their heads. Our politicians know this weakness very well and always use it to their advantage.

It is for this very reason that, after every five years, we end up electing murderers, thieves and drug barons into high offices in the name of “MTU WETU.”

Kenya will only be ready for takeoff the moment we drop the sentimentalism of “MTU WETU” and choose our leaders on merit. It’s always advisable to engage the brain before we engage the heart.

Meanwhile, let Ruth Kamande serve as a lesson to any young person planning to kill their lover and blame it on blind rage.

Have a fantastic week ahead folks.
