Let’s get this straight

Miguna wasn’t in the official plan for the swearing-in of Raila Odinga. …Miguna in his normal robust bullish and typhoon-like attitude hijacked the process from TJ Kajwang….ask him why he wasn’t robed in legal attire while TJ was.

After the swearing in ceremony the drama began

Miguna’s house was vandalized by people claiming to be police officers. Miguna will not tell Kenyans that Raila paid for the repairs

Then the deportation movie started playing on.

Upon his arrest and when Miguna was being shuttled from one police station to another pro Raila and NASA lawyers stood by him. They not only offered him legal representation but also material support including buying him food, a mattress and a mosquito net while he was in custody

As to who paid them that’s neither here nor there but it’s not Miguna. Those lawyers were there basically because of Raila and NASA.

Come the deportation and the scenes at the airport..

The same lawyers moved swiftly to try arrest the situation but the police wouldn’t budge…they therefore resorted to offering Miguna support and solidarity and the airport. Raila did the same. He abandoned his schedule and spent hours at the airport trying to secure Miguna’s release

What did the lawyers and Raila get from Miguna in return for all this? He insulted the entire group as cowards traitors and thieves

Look here Miguna….men and women dedicated their resources and time for your sake and you insulted them. Most have stopped listening to you. Your issue stopped being about the rule of law and justice but about your attitude

On Raila abandoning you please note that Raila isn’t your father and even if he was you’re an adult…actually with kids. Raila will not change your diapers nor will he suckle you. Lift your body up and start sorting out your issue through the courts be they local or international… Social media isn’t a court of law!

Here Is ODM Statement That Got CS Balala Ass Shaking

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Firstly, let it be known that it is the ODM Party’s stated objective to “respect and preserve our national heritage….for the good and enjoyment of posterity”.

In this respect, the goings on in the Country’s conservation circles in the recent past cannot escape our attention. Nothing demonstrates the painful agony of the failure of conservation in Kenya more than the fact that our black rhino population has gone down dramatically from 20,000 to just about 600, the current population, in 35 years.

If we were to pick a yardstick to be used to spur concrete action to save a species, the Black Rhino tragedy would be the real ground zero from which to start. It would therefore be taken for granted that the man in charge of the docket that saw ten rhinos die in a botched translocation he personally oversaw would be agonising over what went wrong, spending sleepless nights seeking credible answers or even, sending his resignation letter to the President over this gross incompetence and dereliction of duty.

We are privy to information that CS Balala was repeatedly advised against the translocation, by the Outgoing Board at KWS. Clearly, Balala had reasons for breaking rules in going ahead with the process against such advise.

The Law on leadership and Integrity requires state officers take personal responsibility for the reasonably foreseable consequences of the discharge of their duties. The death of the Rhinos was a clearly foreseable consequence especially in light of the fact that it was unsanctioned by the Kenya Wildlife Service.

What is shocking is that CS Balala has sought to lay blame on Junior officers at KWS while he himself evades responsibility. To add insult to injury he has publicly told those questioning him about the matter to “go to hell” because he answers only to the President who appointed him. His arrogant attitude over a matter of international concern has also clearly brought the presidency into disrepute, because we do not believe that the President treats the matter as casually as Balala would like to think.

That the Rhinos died is bad enough without the Public from whose taxes Balala draws his salary being treated to these infantile oubursts akin to the theatrics of an overfed child, vomiting on the feet of their long suffering parents.

We feel it is important to remind CS Balala of the Provisions of Article 73 1 (a) ii of the Constitution which states that “the authority assigned to a state officer must be exercised in a manner that demonstrates respect for the people”.

He has demonstrated his incompetence in matters conservation and now attempts to mask it with arrogance. CS Balala has laid bare his unfitness to hold the office he occupies and compounded it by showing disrepect to the people of Kenya, his real employers and the only way to save whatever is left of his reputation is to resign.

Thereafter, there need to be proper inquiry into the deaths of the Rhinos so that criminal responsibility can be properly assigned to all those involved in this matter.

Miguna Statement on Raila’s Interview on Citizen Gets Him Roasted By Kenyans

In a preemptive move, ODM leader Raila Odinga during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday night refused to discuss the persona of Miguna Miguna.

But that did not deter the embattled NRM general from attacking Raila on his social media pages via the following message that has seen him roasted by Kenyans online.

He wrote;

“Mr. Raila Odinga appeared on Citizen TV a day before my petition against Uhuru Kenyatta is heard at the High Court in Milimani, thinking that he could influence the court if he cast aspersions on me. He is in for a rude shock.

If Raila Odinga is genuine and if his claim that he is Uhuru Kenyatta’s “brother” is to be believed, why was he being pushed around by junior police constables at the JKIA as a Makanga on March 26th? Or was that just another pathetic fake PR stunt?

On February 2nd, 2018 after my house was destroyed and I was abducted and detained by Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga didn’t condemn and has not condemned Uhuru Kenyatta for violating my rights.

On February 2nd, Justice Wakaiga ordered my release on bail but the court order was disobeyed by Uhuru Kenyatta. Why did Raila Odinga not condemn Uhuru Kenyatta for disobeying a court order?

On February 3rd, 2018, I obtained a HABEAS CORPUS order from Justice Luka Kimaru. The order compelled Uhuru Kenyatta to produce me dead or alive. The despot once again disobeyed that order. Why didn’t Raila Odinga condemn Uhuru Kenyatta and demand my unconditional release?

Between February 2nd and February 6th when the despots took me to Kajiado Magistrates’ Court and charged me with TREASON for having sworn-in Raila Odinga, the High Court had issued seven more orders directing Uhuru Kenyatta and his despotic agents to release me unconditionally. Why didn’t Raila Odinga speak out and demand my release since I had been charged for swearing him in?

When Uhuru Kenyatta kept Justice Kimaru at the High Court in Milimani until past 9pm on February 6th, why didn’t Raila Odinga demand my release?

After Uhuru Kenyatta forcefully and illegally removed me from Kenya on February 6th, 2018, why hasn’t Raila Odinga condemned my forced exile and demanded that I be allowed back into Kenya?

On February 15, 2018, Justice Luke Kimaru issued an order in my favour directing Uhuru Kenyatta to return my valid Kenyan passport within 7 days. Justice Kimaru also lifted the ban on the NRMKe and vacated the illegal cancellation of my passport and the purported cancellation of my citizenship. Justice Kimaru affirmed my citizenship by birth. He also stayed all criminal charges against me.

Why didn’t Raila call on his fake brother Uhuru Kenyatta to obey the court orders?

On February 26, 2018, Justice Chacha Mwita ordered Uhuru Kenyatta to issue me with a new Kenyan passport, to facilitate my return to Kenya as a Kenyan unconditionally. Why hasn’t Raila Odinga spoken up in defence of my human, legal and constitutional rights?

When Justice Aburili ordered Uhuru Kenyatta to release me unconditionally on March 27, 2018, why didn’t Raila Odinga demand compliance with the court order?

When Justice Odunga ordered Uhuru Kenyatta to release me unconditionally and directed him not to remove me from Kenya, why didn’t Raila Odinga demand that his fake brother obys court orders?

After Justice Odunga CONVICTED Fred Matiang’i, George Kihalangwa, Joseph Boinett and George Kinoti for contempt of court and sentenced them, why has Raila Odinga not demanded that they be fired from public office?

Mr. Raila Odinga, do you support torture and sedation of political opponents? Speak up. Stop mumbling.

How is Raila Odinga going to “help” Uhuru Kenyatta “fight corruption” with his mythical bridges to nowhere tumbocrats if he cannot even stop a junior police constable from pushing him around?

Mr. Raila Odinga, you can’t have it both ways. You either respect the Constitution, rule of law, human rights and democracy or you don’t.

You have shown that you don’t care about the constitution, rule of law, democracy or adherence and respect for human rights.

(Lastly, those peddling lies that Raila Odinga is the one paying my advocates should know that he has not even contributed one red cent. On the contrary, he has been putting pressure on most of my advocates to abandon my cases.)

Patriots, let’s march on and remove these despots from occupying public spaces which they have only used to enrich themselves. Viva.”

THE KENYAN “BIG MAN SYNDROME” IS DISGUSTING.

It’s only in Kenya where political appointees, such as CS’s and chairmen of commissions, behave like demigods. Some of them throw their weights around like horny rhinos and feel that they already actually arrived.

They think that they’re only answerable to the appointing authority and not to the larger public – yet article 1 of our constitution is clear that all sovereign power belongs to the people of Kenya! Their impunity is appalling, to say the least.

Take for instance CS for Tourism Najib Balala. After ordering translocation of rhinos from the Tsavo, against the previous Tourism Board’s advice, 11 of these endangered animals are already dead. As if their mysterious deaths aren’t enough, some of their carcasses and horns have decided to disappear into thin air!

Then the CS, with his blocked nostrils accent and darkly dyed hair, has the audacity to stare into the cameras and tell Kenyans who have been questioning his disingenuous decision to “go to hell!”

Wait a minute. But the only person who deserves a one way ticket to hell here is this arrogant idiot in charge of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife! Yet he’s telling people to go to hell or go hug a cactus!

He is lucky that he isn’t a CS in a country like China. By now he would probably have been hauled before a firing squad – in a public arena – and had several bullets pumped through his thick head.

Tourism is such an integral sector to the Kenyan economy that playing around with our rare wildlife – one of the main tourist attractions in Kenya – is playing poker with the very livelihoods of the Kenyan citizenry.

A few days back we were treated to a bizarre press conference in which an arrogant chair of the NLC was lecturing journalists like a school principal does to form one students.

This is another imbecile who should have resigned like yesterday. But like a typical Kenyan “BIG MAN”, he has sworn not to resign over the Ruaraka land saga.

Remember Kimunya’s famous “I would rather die than resign” quip, in the height of the Grand Regency Hotel scandal, during the Kibaki era?

We remember Kimunya holding to his job steadfastly till the bull fighter (then chair of PAC but currently confused) had to literally run him out of town!

Well, that is the “BIG MAN” mentality and spirit of most Kenyan political appointees. They always think that the office they occupy belongs to their mother.

Mohammed Swazuri has not only been incapable of purging the rot in the Kenyan land business but he has instead helped to entrench impunity and corrupt cartels in this all important sector.

But, perhaps, the biggest embodiment of impunity in the Jubilee cabinet is the semi illiterate Sports CS Rashid Achesa. I have never figured out how exactly Uhuru Kenyatta ran out of options until he had to appoint a man whose only credentials are a birth certificate and a national ID as his CS for sports!

It is obvious that the man understands Nada about the responsibilities of a Sports CS. He still reasons like the political mercenary he has always been.

I doubt whether he even knows that it’s against the law for a CS to openly engage in politics. The man has been playing confrontational politics in Western Kenya, every weekend, since the first day he was appointed!

I always ask myself this question; why do we always end up with nincompoops, who are too full of themselves, heading very sensitive offices in this country?

But then again I remember that Kenyans actually allowed ICC indictees to run this country. So what do you expect?

‘Biggest Challenge Facing Rift Valley is lack of Unity and Imaginary Loyalty’, Hon Franklin Bett

Rift Valley MPs have planned a huge convention to help suppress the simmering divisions that is threatening to tear one of the biggest voting blocks in the Country.

Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny confirmed that Rift Valley leaders are concerned with the emerging and shifting political dynamics and would soon hold a bonding retreat to cement the region’s unity.

“A retreat has been planned soon. There are concerns that there are certain sentiments and body language among leaders that appear to be alienating the Rift Valley region,” Kutuny said.

He said there was panic among some political leaders from the DP’s backyard over reports of a scheme within Jubilee to block Ruto from succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

“The panic exhibited by some leaders is alienating us from the system. Some MPs feel that we should not allow this to happen. Immediate attention is required so that we don’t appear to be fighting a losing battle,” the MP said.

Former Kipkelion MP Franklin Bett said the region’s unity was at stake unless an all-inclusive meeting is convened to solidify the political bloc.

The former Cabinet minister who is considered among the region’s most level-headed figures, warned, however, against what he termed a petty meeting that would focus on trivialities.

“ The meeting must focus on solid issues that enhance the welfare of our people,” Bett told a local Daily.

He said any meeting planned should bring together the rank and file of all political affiliations without any preconditions and brinkmanship.

“The meeting that I will attend must not be about discussing people. There is a tendency by some guys to discuss others. That I will not attend. The meeting I will attend must be interested in everybody, without strings attached,” he said.

How Handshake Scattered DP Ruto’s Plans and His Fear For Gideon Moi’s Rising Popularity

Deputy President William Ruto is planning a high powered political convention of top leaders from the Rift Valley in a bid to secure his weakening grip on his backyard.

The meeting will be the biggest political convention by Ruto since his election as Deputy President in 2013.

Tangible sources opine that Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s newfound — and mysterious — partnership has rattled Ruto’s camp and disorganized many political plans.

With anti-Ruto campaign simmering within Jubilee and the threats by Kanu chairman Gideon Moi’s political momentum, Ruto is said to be having sleepless nights.

The Baringo senator, has been revamping his Kanu outfit in readiness for a stab at the presidency in 2022, or position himself as the go-to ally for any alliance that will be arranged against Ruto.

Ostensibly, Gideon’s camaraderie with Ruto’s nemesis particularly Raila Odinga and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho has unsettled the DP.

Ruto’s “unity” meeting planned for early August at Sugoi is set to bring together influential opinion leaders, current and former MPs, governors and their deputies, senators, speakers and MCAs in a calculated manoeuvre to demonstrate his grip on the region.

Former Cabinet ministers Henry Kosgey and Franklin Bett, Kalenjin Council of Elders chairman John Seii, Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago and Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen are said to have been identified to spearhead the convention.

Other key politicians playing key roles include Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot and his Nandi counterpart Samson Cherargei.

Sources said civil servants from the region including Cabinet secretaries, principal secretaries, CEOs and top government officials who are beneficiaries of the Ruto axis are expected to facilitate the crucial meeting.

Of Night Meetings at DP Ruto’s Weston Hotel as He Slowly Loses Grip on 2022 Dream

Deputy President William Ruto’s allies have spurred talk of a conspiracy to block Ruto from succeeding Uhuru.  
The President’s closeness to Raila Odinga has infuriated team Tanga tanga who are reading a sinister move.

Claims have surfaced of a powerful clique of politicians and businessmen opposed to the DP said to be crafting an elaborate plan for his downfall.

It is alleged that they have set up a secretariat and regularly meet in Gigiri and Lavington areas to plan how to cut Ruto down to size. Those named in the speculation have denied any role but that has not diminished apprehension among the DP’s allies, who have continued to express alarm. They also claim the President’s body language has changed and he has been issuing unilateral policy directions without Ruto’s knowledge.

The directives include the lifestyle audit as well as the order to freeze initiation of new projects before completing old ones.

“We shall meet as a community and take a position on our conditions within Jubilee. There is obviously a scheme to frustrate the Deputy President,” said a senior Rift Valley MP who declined to be named.

Last month Murkomen, the Elgeyo Marakwet senator, claimed that there was a clique within the Office of President working to curtail Ruto’s 2022 chances.

“There is a group of people at OP who works day and night to bring Ruto down. They are determined to bring discord between Uhuru and Ruto,”Murkomen said. “They run government operations and their target is Ruto. If these issues are not solved, then we may build walls in the future,” he said.

The statement elicited angry reactions from some members of the party, forcing him to retract those words. But two weeks ago, Murkomen was at it again, with a sensational claim that the Mau Forest evictions were masterminded by people who had joined Jubilee through the backdoor, a snide reference to Raila.

The statement provoked a swift response from the party, which threatened disciplinary action against him for opposing official government policy. Insiders say statements by Murkomen, who is the chair of the Rift Valley caucus of MPs, often represents the thinking in the DP’s camp.

Apparently, there have been more than 10 secret nocturnal meetings among leaders from the Rift Valley rattled by the covert manoeuvres targeting to clip Ruto’s wings. The meetings have largely been held at the Weston Hotel associated with the DP.
