List of top military chiefs, spies Uhuru trusts in fight against Corruption, block DP Ruto 2022

President Uhuru is increasingly entrusting key positions in government to former military chiefs or top spies as he shapes his legacy of war on corruption. Here is a list of spies and top military men whom the president has entrusted with top postions in government since 2014;

1. The late General Joseph Nkaiserry for Interior CS
2. General Kameru the head of NIS
3. Joseph Boinet the IG
4. Noordin Haji- DPP
5. Gordon Kihalangwa- PS Immigration
6. Alexander Muteshi director immigration
7. Samson Mwathathe
8. Governor Kinuthia Mbugua for AP/GSU boss now Statehouse controller

among others

The President, it appears, believes the military discipline and the knowledge and insight of intelligence officers could help him deliver.

The latest is the nomination of Twalib Mbarak – a trained military intelligence officer – as the CEO of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

At the then National Security and Intelligence Service, Mbarak served as a senior intelligence analyst before being deployed to head the National Intelligence Academy research department.

Uhuru appointed top intelligence officer Noordin Haji as the Director of Public Prosecutions. He was serving as Deputy Director of Counter Organised Crime at the National Intelligence Service.

Haji replaced Keriako Tobiko, who was appointed Environment CS. Haji’s appointment breathed a new lease of life into the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. A number of high-profile personalities have been taken to court for various offences.

In December 2014, Uhuru appointed Joseph Boinnet as Inspector General of Police. Previously, Boinnet had served as an Assistant Intelligence Principal Officer.

In July this year, Uhuru appointed NIS director of counter-terrorism Alexander Muteshi as the head of immigration. The department is critical as it deals with issuance of passports and controls the entry of foreigners into the country.

Muteshi replaced Gordon Kihalangwa, an ex-senior military officer who was appointed as Principal Secretary at the department of Immigration.

On November 19 this year, Uhuru said he tasked Chief of Defence Forces Samson Mwathathe to chair the Blue Economy Committee as he could not entrust the position to his Cabinet secretaries.

In 2016 Uhuru appointed General Kameru who was in the military (KDF) to be the director general of National Intelligence Service, replacing former DG Mr Gichangi.

In 2015 Uhuru appointed Kajiado Central MP the late General Joseph Nkaiserry to be the cabinet secretary for interior

DP Ruto’s support to Shabana FC applauded, What Next?

Why Shabana needs its glamour back!

By Douglas Arege

The mention of Shabana football club creates a sensation for many a people, especially those who grew up when Shabana’s name was mentioned alongside other famous and huge community clubs like Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards. My interaction with Shabana many years ago was through my young uncles Philip (RIP) and Alvin with whom I stayed with in Kisii Town during my primary and secondary schooling. They lived in town and went to Kisii primary School which neighbors Gusii Stadium. It is natural that they would walk to the stadium for games and most Shabana fans therefore were from Kisii primary School and the surrounding villages of Nyanchwa, Nyabururu, Bobaracho, Nyankongo among others; some of this villages produced players for the club. We would seek for Kshs 5.00 to go watch Shabana FC play; sometimes we would perch on Guava trees near the stadium to watch Shabana FC play or better still sneak in through the iron sheet fence to gain access to the stadium.

Shabana FC has had a great history formed by a philanthropic Kisii businessman Dogo Khan ( a native of Bonyunyu village, West Mugirango constituency- Nyamira County), I would not guess what motivated him but he has left a huge legacy that has suffered ups and downs. I recently met an old Shabana FC player who narrated to me how beautiful the game was then, he relished his time when Shabana FC was on a plane to Addis Ababa for an African tournament and how they worked hard for the god of the game and the club! They made all Gusii followers proud! But he was sad that football did not pay and hence they fizzled out to look for alternative livelihoods.

As I pen this a fundraiser is set for Shabana FC today evening and as much as I am happy with this; I feel sad because we have not fully dissected what ails Shabana FC and how best we can put the club on the right path in a sustainable way.

Fast forward after devolution set in and I was working in the Kisii County Executive, I got bombarded many a times with requests for the county government to support Shabana FC. Once again I was reunited with the Shabana FC and its challenges. I would try my best to have my boss hear Shabana FC out and once in a while we would help them with cash handouts to bail them; later we provided an ambulance and I would attend most of their matches and a fundraiser in Nairobi. With all this and lack of a home stadium- as Gusii Stadium was still under repair; Shabana FC still had challenges that would not go away!

I love the spirit of the glamour boys and the fans they kept forging forward with help from well-wishers and a shaky management and today they have earned a chance at the National Super League, if the work hard at it they may find themselves back where they belong- Premier league!

But how, you may ask, here is what I think needs to be done for Shabana FC

1. Who owns Shabana?

This is the burning question. The underlying legal and governance issues and questions must be answered. Shabana FC being a community club must be duly registered and its officials known to breed confidence among the fans that are the base; currently the management of Shabana FC is shrouded in confusion. Old officials with a sense of entitlement are holding the club at ransom denying it an opportunity to grow. Bad leadership has denied the club a sense of direction. Some time back there also emerged two “Shabana’s” this should be sorted out and the energy invested in growing the business portfolio of Shabana FC, There can only be one Shabana! In return we should review a constitution and allow the fans to ‘own’ Shabana FC. We need responsible, passionate and committed executives at the helm of Shabana FC.

2. Shabana FC Management
Every entity is about management and Shabana FC should be run like a business enterprise focused on growing revenues to fund talent development. The whole spectrum of risk management, marketing and development structure must be looked into. Does Shabana FC have an organizational and management structure? Does the club have governing policies? Shabana FC should have strategic investments to cushion it from financial shocks. Again the recruitment of the Manager (technical bench) or Coach should be professional to ensure the right talent and skills are attracted. Players and staff deserve good salaries and emoluments as they play and serve the club. The Gusii counties can cushion the club through provision of contract jobs for the players and management on an agreeable formula as they club will be key in local talent development. Other business entities in Gusii should be encouraged to give sponsorship packages, shirt sponsorship and corporate sales and perhaps get government rebates if they employ players and staff from Shabana FC. All incomes generated should run the clubs not serve officials and their egos.

3. Attendant Comforts
The Shabana FC needs a home ground; I am glad that the Kisii County Government through the Department of Culture, Sports, Youth & Social Services has undertaken to give Gusii Stadium for training and hosting of matches. The team would need a club van/bus, a medical cover and provision of various equipment to enable the players deliver. If the two Gusii counties synergize’ provision of these needs will be surmountable. Players and staff should be on contractual and professional engagements. The club management and technical team would be empowered to develop an academy that would provide future talent and hence grow and develop football within the rural areas of Gusii.

4. Shabana FC Fans
The backbone of Shabana FC is its ‘owners’ the fans. I have witnessed fans in their shades sacrifice and donate to the club to motivate the glamour boys. Their huge following has seen them attend matches cheering the boys on, even when there is little to cheer about! These never die fellows are the engine that needs to be revved to bring Shabana FC back to live. With a following across the world; we can open branches in all counties in Kenya and countries abroad to fundraise and sustain our club. We can get into strategic partnerships with international clubs that can cross-pollinate and provide technical back up, training exposure and exchange programs among other benefits.

5. Utilizing opportunities
The club should utilize innovative opportunities like Social Media Marketing to realize its branding and financial obligations. This is underutilized and can create a mine of funds to bolster its financial soundness. Adoption of a strong media strategy and on boarding new media experts will help in marketing and fundraising ventures like crowd funding.

“Leteni pesa hata kama ni ya wizi tusaidie Shabana.”- Hon Arati tells Ruto

A fund drive in support of Shabana FC was held at Crown Plaza Hotel yesterday. The Chief guest was our own Deputy President. The function was well decorated and attended. But hell broke loose when Simba Arati took the mic.

“Leteni pesa hata kama ni ya wizi tusaidie Shabana.”

Arati was Insulted, demonized, mocked and almost beaten by those who claimed he had disrespected the Dp. Ruto team was breathing fire. But Majority made fun of his sentiments.

Speculation: 2022 Game Plan Shaping Up as Gideon Moi meets Musalia with Raila’s blessings

*Speculation Rife as Mudavadi & Moi Meet Today*

Baringo Senator and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi and Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi are expected to share a platform in Kakamega town today. Gideon will be visiting Kakamega in the wake of the heated 2022 succession politics. He toured Homa Bay in October.

The two have been invited by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala to a funds drive in aid of Kakamega Traders Welfare Group. The traders have been mobilising resources to buy a bus. Though Gideon has not publicly declared his presidential ambitions, Mudavadi, who has declared himself the leader of opposition has his eyes fixed on the top seat.

Shared background Already political pundits are reading a lot in the expected reunion between the two politicians who were once close, courtesy of the friendship between their fathers – former President Daniel Toroitich Moi and influential Cabinet minister Moses Mudavadi – that began in 1950s Martin Oloo, a political analyst said the two could have had a series of board room meetings and may have decided to go public.

Secrets of George Saitoti death, how Uhuru Dumped billionaires Jimi Wanjigi and David Langat.

By Manaseh Nyainda

The year is 2012 and the month is April. A meeting is taking place at Koisagat Farm in Nandi Hills owned by a silent mogul in the name of David Lagat. Present in the meeting is Alfred Keter, Oscar Sudi, David Lagat and a designated private secretary who also happens to be the MD of Koisagat Tea Factory, one Mr. Tanui.

Two issues are on the table.

One, Alfred Keter is pleading with DL to finance William Ruto’s ICC trips, cater for the accruing legal bills and offer to infuse money into URP’s presidential campaigns. On the other hand, UK is engaging Jimmy Wanjigi to also finance him. In exchange for their ‘philanthropism’, both David Lagat and Jimmy Wanjigi would be given the tender to construct Standard Gauge Railway.

DL was to construct that snaking material from Mombasa to Nairobi because of his convoluted tubule of network especially at the coast. Jimmy Wanjigi was to take the SGR from Nairobi all the way to Malava in Busia County. Ask me who David Lagat is and I will tell you that he is probably among the top 5 richest persons in Kenya. He is however not ranked just like Haron Mwau because of his shady business deals and illicit sources of wealth.

Two, Oscar Sudi is vying for Kapseret MP and does not have money. Reason? Please sit pretty and allow me to take you down this lane.

The late George Kinuthia Saitoti is the Minister for Internal Security. He is brought down in a plane crash orchestrated by Aviation officials under duress from the State. George Saitoti was key in witness protection as of people who would testify against Uhuru and WSR at the Hague. On the other hand, a cobweb of drug barons is casting its net wider in the country. This group was preceded by the two Armenian Arthur brothers who were elevated to the positions of Deputy Police Commissioners by Statehouse in 2006 to access drugs at GSU Training School in Embakasi.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Interpol are in hot pursuit of key figures in the racket of drugs. George Saitoti has this secret list and a comprehensive report of drug barons and the US Government is urging him to name these personalities. He fears for his life as he proclaimed in Mombasa but the US Gov’t assures him of its support in case he goes for the presidency. A threat to Uhuru’s presidency is being bred and fed again, blunder. Saitoti then makes it unequivocally clear that he would table the list in Parliament the following week.

That very same weekend, on Sunday 10th June 2012, the lifeless body of George Kinuthia Saitoti was found burnt after being involved in a plane crash in Kibiku Area of Ngong Forest, exactly 12 minutes after leaving Wilson Airport on their way to Ndhiwa for a fundraiser.

At this time, information is leaking to the drug barons whose names are in the list. Oscar Sudi gets wind of his name being amongst those wanted. He initiates processes of stopping the drugs from getting into the country. The drugs remain in the waters of Indian Ocean for fear of being nabbed at the port. Suppliers and consumers are on Sudi’s neck. He uses all his money to keep the market stable and at the same time wants to rise to power to protect his drug ring.

The problem in here is that he doesn’t have money to finance his campaigns. He pleads with Alfred Keter to take him to DL to help him. That is how he found himself in Koisagat. He then gets the funding and becomes an MP. Lagat and Wanjigi are later shortchanged by the digital duo and Sudi goes full throttle in leading a revolt against William Ruto. Ruto has lived with Sudi and knows that he has never stepped into any class past Standard 8. Even that KCSE certificate he is holding is a fake piece of paper. Now Ruto starts blackmailing Sudi, EACC comes after him and he is suddenly turned into Ruto’s spanner boy.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ruto’s barking dogs started calling Kuttuny hired mercenary, it flopped. They then went ahead and said that he coached ICC witnesses against Ruto, it flopped. Now they have shifted the goal post and decided to replace Oscar Sudi’s name with Kuttuny’s name in their imaginary world of people currently under the radar of DEA and FBI.

Ask the Akashas, if you can, who requested an Uber for them while I’m Nairobi for the fear of being hunted down by DCI using their personal cars not knowing Uber is a world surveillance mechanism for FBI originating in San Francisco. How they were later tracked, duped, arrested and extradited can well be explained none other than the Honourable Member of Parliament for Kapseret, the delinquent Oscar Sudi.

Someone remind Murkomen that we have a shortage of fools in the country.

BREAKING: Former USA President George Bush Snr dies at 94

Former US President George HW Bush has died at the age of 94, his son George W Bush has announced.

George Bush Sr, as he was known, passed away on Friday evening, a spokesperson said on behalf of the family.

He was the 41st US president between 1989 and 1993, after serving two terms as vice-president to Ronald Reagan.

In April, he was admitted to a hospital intensive care unit with a blood infection, a week after the death of his wife of 73 years, Barbara.

“Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro, and I are saddened to announce that after 94 remarkable years, our dear Dad has died,” George Bush Jr, who went on to serve as the 43rd US president, said in a statement.

“[He] was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for.”

On Twitter, US President Donald Trump paid tribute to his fellow Republican’s “essential authenticity, disarming wit, and unwavering commitment to faith, family and country.”

Despite achieving popularity ratings of 90%, Bush was accused of neglecting domestic affairs and was defeated by Bill Clinton in the 1992 election.

He had joined politics in 1964 after starting a Texan oil business and becoming a millionaire by the age of 40.

During World War Two, he was an aviator against the Japanese before being shot down in September 1944 while on a bombing raid.

He is survived by five of his children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two siblings.
