Why DP William Ruto will never be president, not in 2022, his goose is already cooked

By Gab Oguda via FB

You’ve heard this story before.

That there exists three kinds of politicians: Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what’s happening. William Ruto might not like this constant reminder, but it doesn’t take away the fact that the March 2018 handshake was the day he watched his 2022 gameplan go up in smoke.
And this is why.

All political mathematics revolving around the identity of the next president of Kenya must always take into account the Kalenjin, Luo and the Kikuyu vote. Voting as a bloc, the candidate with the support of any two of those three communities will always be the man to beat going into any general election.

William Ruto had Kalenjins and Kikuyus United in one accord, making sure he had an easy stroll into 2022, until the March 2018 handshake brought Raila Odinga back into the equation. The chess grandmaster of Kenyan politics returns to the main fold just when his pupil was beginning to behave like a silverback gorilla.

Raila Odinga’s reentry into the big league makes it easy for two things to happen to William Ruto.

One.

If Kikuyus decide not to honor their promise and back another candidate for 2022, and in the likely event that William Ruto wins the presidential vote but the win is stolen from him, it will be very difficult for William Ruto to foment a revolution.

This should be a no brainer. Only Raila Odinga can destabilize the national government by paralyzing operations in Kenya’s three main cities; Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. The most important town William Ruto commands is Eldoret, a rural insignificant outpost that will take only one teargas canister to be lobbed and protestors will scatter like Mike Sonko’s pidgin English after a round of adulterated beer.

William Ruto’s anti-government chokehold on Eldoret is made much more difficult with the presence of the Kenya Defence Forces Baracks in Soi. They also have a bullet factory there in Eldoret so if any Kalenjin militiaman thinks they will swing a rungu against outsiders if William Ruto’s vote is stolen in 2022, they have a lot of reasons to think again. The government was caught offguard in 2007. They have made a promise that it will not happen again.

Two.

The only assured avenue for William Ruto to be president is for Uhuru Kenyatta to die midway into his second term, upon which William Ruto takes the oath of office to see off the remainder of the term. The last time a Kenyan president died in office, his Deputy took over the reigns of power, and you all know how long it took to get him out of that place.

William Ruto is a poor man’s Daniel Moi without the wisdom that should come with it. Daniel Moi knew when to stop, William Ruto doesn’t know when to stop. If anything happens to Uhuru Kenyatta, and anything can happen to Uhuru Kenyatta, and William Ruto takes over the reigns of power, you can be sure that Daniel Moi’s 24 year record as president of Kenya will have found a suitable match.

Do not be fooled that David Murathe’s noise is a hollow one. Kikuyus have no problem honoring their political debt owed to William Ruto. The only misgiving they have is whether William Ruto can be trusted to honor back the debt when his turn to step down comes around. They are saying they’d rather have any other Kalenjin but not William Ruto, because it took them 24 years to get back the presidency from Daniel Moi.

They have been once bitten, and they are now twice shy.

Interesting Details About Statehouse Operative David Murathe, deep friendship withUhuru and Musalia

“David Wakairu Murathe is your ordinary political demagogue and dyed in the wool political lackey. His toadiness did not start on Boxing Day in Vihiga, it’s been part of his short but chequered political career.

David is a scion of prominent Thika businessman, the late William Gatuhi Murathe, he of the famous Murathe Wines & Spirits, a low key independent Kenya oligarch and beneficiary of the 1960s Kenyatta government Africanisation Programme.

Unlike most of his contemporaries, the senior Murathe did not immerse himself in politics. That political bug devolved to his son David who, with eyes on the 1997 general elections started active involvement in Ken Matiba’s Ford Asili party in 1996. Yours truly was working in that office and are well acquainted with David Murathe. But I digress.

With Matiba boycotting the 1997 General Elections, those intent on clinging to his coat tails to win elections, bolted and scattered to other parties. David Murathe joined the Charity Ngilu led Social Democratic Party (SDP), on which he was elected Gatanga MP in that year’s second multiparty elections.

A year into his election, David Murathe would find himself in a controversy of momentous proportions. Another monied homeboy, the media mogul, S.K. Macharia had been eyeing the Gatanga parliamentary seat. With enough money than they would ever need and no political clout, many Mt. Kenya oligarchs feel naked and exposed. Because of their thievish ways, their one and only desire automatically focuses on attaining political power.

In April 1998, a letter surfaced on the National Assembly Speaker Francis Xavier ole Kaparo’s desk indicating that David Murathe had resigned as Gatanga MP. Before Kaparo could digest the contents, another one arrived indicating the first one was a “clever” forgery . Kaparo was stunned and summoned Murathe, who stuck to this narrative.

Kaparo in his own assessment, adjudged both letters as authentic, with a genuine Murathe signature and a lawyer’s stamp and mark of authentication. Curiously Kaparo left the onus on Murathe “to go and search his conscience” and did not issue writs to declare the Gatanga seat vacant. That was a close shave for the connish and lately mouthy Murathe.

Across town, a short bespectacled and bald man was “crying in the toilet” while talking to himself in deep ethnic tinged baritone voice. He had been shafted, so to speak, and cleverly relieved of a cool Ksh.10 million by David Murathe in exchange for the resignation. With money in his account, the political fox changed tune and feigned knowledge of any such deal. The guy was moneybags SK Macharia, who had to eat humble pie, sheepishly grin and moved on.

The same script of buying a parliamentary seat had played out, in the same general elections, at Gatundu South, pitting the front-runner Moses Muihia and the greenhorn Uhuru Kenyatta, whose lap dog was barking very loudly in Vihiga county. That is a story for another day, though joined at the hip with this one.

The year 1998 was not out and Murathe was in the news again. With Moi not in the race in the 2002 presidential ballot and Uhuru Kenyatta a mere nominated MP, Murathe and Juja MP Stephen Ndichu offered to vacate any of their respective seats for Uhuru Kenyatta, just as James Gichuru had vacated for the senior Kenyatta at the dawn of Independence, for him to qualify to be appointed Vice President of Kenya, and hence stand a better chance of succeeding President Moi. The former constitution did not allow unelected Member of Parliament to be appointed Vice President of the republic.

For those who can recall, Kenya stayed for a record 18 months without a substantive VP after the 1997 general elections. The late George Saitoti was to be reappointed “kimadharau,” on the roadside, with the famous sardonic clincher “wacha tuone kama sufuria za ugali zitaongezeka kwa manyumba zenu!”

In the 2002 elections, David Murathe ran for Gatanga MP on a KANU ticket, his drinking buddy’s sponsoring party for that year’s presidential ballot. He was thoroughly thrashed by Peter Kenneth. His alleged selling of the seat to SK Macharia and his willingness to vacate the seat, entrusted to him by the people of Gatanga, for someone else, was seen as a betrayal of trust. He has never recovered, and probably won’t, from that selfish and connish profiling.

With parliamentary salary and privileges out, David Murathe sunk into political oblivion. Creditors at his company, Kenya Business Machines Ltd, threatened to attach his property over 50m loan. He filed for voluntary bankruptcy in 2005 to keep auctioneers away.

The year 2013 was Murathe’s defining moment. He was leading the team that midwifed the merger of Uhuru’s TNA and Ruto’s URP to birth Jubilee Party. With him well perched as Jubilee National Vice Chairman, Murathe has been irascibly loud, with airs of ostensibly speaking for Mt. Kenya wing of jubilee.

First was his insinuation that Uhuru at 61 in 2022, will be too young to go home; then his suggestion that Uhuru needs to transform himself into a benevolent dictator to get things done and lately his broadside on Deputy President William Ruto, in Vihiga as Musalia Mudavadi grinned like a Cheshire cat besides him.

I have news for you my good friend David Murathe, just as the people of Gatanga could not reelect you because of your greedy ways, your latest diatribe is just some puny fart in the wind. People shall vote for whomever they prefer, not necessarily the dynasties’ blue eyed politically docile puppets, Musalia Mudavadi or Githeri Man (GM).

If people decide it is my sharp teetotaler fren’ William Samoei Kipchirchir arap Ruto, not even your whisky quaffing partner can stop it. Dynasties must fall.

Dear Men, a few things you must understand about women, this is important

  1. MEN:
    We need to understand that:

    1. A man is incomplete without a woman; however rich or famous he may be. If God says that it is not good then it can never be. Bachelorhood is contentment in delusion.

    2. A woman is as good as you make her. The grass that appear green in your neighbour’s courtyard has been watered. Water your grass or live content in withered dry browny grass.

If you see anything good that you desire in your woman then fix it; don’t blame her for the lack of it.

    3. No woman is stingy. Women reciprocity is determined by your ability to flow out to them.

    4. Whereas SEX is a crucial part of any marriage, women enjoy more of affection. A woman lying on your chest isn’t an invitation for sex. Distinguish between desire for warm affection, a loving embrace, a deep kiss, comfort of your chest and security of your presence from an invitation to coitus.

    5. Most women are turned on by masculinity. This however isn’t an invitation for dirt. There is a difference between being rugged and being unkempt. Tidy your hair, whichever style you choose. Shave your armpits and brush your teeth. It is a shame seeing dry saliva at the corners or your mouth.

Use deodorants and colons … However cheap. A man is defined by his smell. Avoid that he-goat smell – it is a turn off.

    6. Buy fitting cloths. Don’t appears in those oversize cloths and suits … Or extremely tight ones that make you look like a cricket.

Pull off those badges you leave on your cheap backstreet suits. Real expensive suits don’t have such budges on the sleeves. It reveals how low you are.

Don’t be overdressed for any day. Know what to wear for office, party or getaway.

    7. Care for your shoes. Carry a cloth to wipe off dust from your shoes. Ladies are ashamed of smiling shoes and worn out soles.

    8. Always bring something home however small. Unemployment is not an excuse. Be creative. Get dirty and get your wife (family) something.

    9. Women love surprises. Do it occasionally. Don’t expect a surprise shagging if you don’t. Buy her flowers and presents … Surprise her. Don’t complain of your wife’s dressing if you don’t even know her size. Understand her taste … Get to know her sizes … Clothes, shoes, bra and pants.

    10. Write your spouse a love note. Sex begins early; not in the bedroom.

    11. Whatever you do, take pride in your woman. No woman would want to stay where they feel unappreciated.

    12. Provide security to your woman. Let her feel confident being with you … Whatever the time.

    13. Respect your woman. Don’t let your eyes rove around, checking on other women when with her. Let her feel secure being with you. Do your shenanigans in her absence

Dear Betty Kyalo and Lilian Muli; Here is why Kisii men dumped you, learn then try again

By Onyinkwa Onyakundi

After so many relationships and marriages that paired up Kisii men with feminists and slay queens (Betty Kyalo, Lilian Muli, Cicilia Mwangi etc) went tumbling, i soon realised what ails them, and came up with a simple guideline that the latter could use as a ‘user’s manual’ when dating a Kisii man.

First, no matter how pretty your face, tall your frame, rounded your curves, yellow your skin, long your C.V., big your position, hefty your salary, or famous your name, you remain his wife. Not his husband. He wears the trousers in that house figuratively all the time, but sometimes literally as well, especially if he is SDA. And don’t point for him where his food is with your foot from the couch as you watch TV. Get your lazy ass over there, warm it for him and serve him.

Secondly, while we relish the sight of ‘rarely ever seen’ parts of female anatomy, too much of it actually turns off a Kisii man. A short skirt, a little cleavage, a few inches around the waist and such other ‘glimpses’ can send the blood of a Kisii man racing towards the centre of his life and body, but any attempt to ‘amplify’ the effects by walking around in the house stark naked in the vain hope that the ‘overdose’ will turn him on several ‘decibels’ higher will instead turn him off.

Thirdly, you must bring something to the table. And your sexy body doesn’t count as ‘something on the table’ even if you choose to serve him ‘Migingo’ right on the dining table. Every Kisii man alive was brought up by a hardworking woman that got up at the crack of dawn every dawn to perform not just the daily house chores, but also till some shamba, sell some vegetables, teach at some school or nurse at some hospital, and contributed the proceeds to family’s budget. Forget twerk. Can you work? You little bitch? That feminist slay queen mantra of ‘ my money is mine, while his money is ours’ doesn’t wash with Kisii men.

Fourth, please don’t ever cheat on a Kisii man. But if you really must, don’t ever let him get wind of it. Even slightly. That will be the end of that relationship. It doesn’t matter if he is cheating too. That ‘tit for tat’ thing has never yielded any result with a Kisii man that isn’t spelled D-I-V-O-R-C-E. In a community where 80% of all grandfathers alive are polygamous, making your case before a ‘Baraza’ that you went spreading your legs for every Tom, Dick and Harry ~ but mostly Dick ~ because your husband went out on community husbandry duties would sound really ridiculous.

And finally, when he finally decides to ditch you, don’t ever try to embarrass such a man by doing any of those juvenile public rants aimed at ‘shaming him into submission’. You anger rather than cow such a man. He’ll come out with his own version, and the honest truth is, if the feminist slay queen is considered guilty of infidelity, or being disrespectful, then everything else she says thereafter can only be ‘Kizungu mingi’.

Game Over for DP Ruto and his Kalenjin Nation As Kikuyu set to unite with Luyha and Luo to deliver Change and End Corruption

Will LUOs Ever learn Their Lessons?
By Nyakundi Amenya aka Banana Peddler

I repeat, and this has nothing to do with tribalism, “Never trust KIKUYUS when it comes to power.” The other day Uhuru confidant MURATHE put everything in black and white as I had predicted long time before the re-election of Uhuru.

When Kikuyus and Kalenjins were still “together”, I told KALENJINS they were being played to re-elect Uhuru and get dumped but they told me “Sisi si WAJALUO, wakijaribu kutufanyia vile walifanyia Raila, tuko na dawa yao”

That time, Kikuyus would swarm my posts and video clips and defend themselves. Mitaani during discussions, they would vow to keep their promise. Funny enough, those same people who swore with their lives are the same ones who have taken a U-turn. Ignore those few remaining, pretending to be on Ruto’s side. Their hearts are together and they are all singing the same song. It is just a matter of time before they stop pretending and they usually do that at the eve of elections. By the time they wake up, they are one thing.

I therefore repeat what I said before that the same will happen to Raila and Luos immediately they help them amend the constitution to help them retain the leadership of this country. Kikuyus want Uhuru to go for two more terms but the constitution bars him.

So, in order for them not to appear as if they are greedy or power hungry before other Kenyans, they opted to bring Raila close so that he can help them amend the constitution and help Uhuru continue leading the nation. The funny thing with Luos and Luhyas is that they forget they have been used and dumped before by the same Kikuyus.

Yesterday Luhyas led by MUSALIA were foolishly cheering Murathe when he said KIKUYUS have no MoU with KALENJINS and that they will not support RUTO in 2022. They have forgotten that these are the same people who called MUDAVADI ‘mademoni’ the other day. How soon people forget.

LUOS on the other hand, are foolishly celebrating the “HANDSHAKE” and praising UHURU and KIKUYUS forgeting the same people that shortchanged them in 2007 and forcefully took what belonged to them even after standing with KIBAKI from when he was involved in an accident. Raila guarded And protected Kibaki from the outgoing Moi Government and stood with him until he became President. When being flown to London for specialised treatment, they booked him in the anus of KQ but Raila said my President cannot fly in economy class, he then booked him in first class. Still, KIKUYUS forgot all that favor and repayed him with evil in 2007. Luos should ask themselves a simple question, “Why was it made private and its implementation rushed?” The answer ix simple, to keep away people from thinking. And asking the questions I am raising.

Luos and Luhyas have forgotten that Kikuyus are on a mission. Just like missionaries came with sweets and other gifts to entice Africans and win them, Kikuyus have gone to Raila and Luos with a few inconsequential government positions with fake love to win their hearts. As usual, Luos and Luhyas have boarded that bus. But the moment Kikuyus get to their destination with help of these two communities, they will throw them out of the window in a moving bus. What they are not asking themselves is, “How come someone who always dislikes you, all over sudden beccomes your friend and pretend to love you so much?”

They’ll promise to make Raila a ceremonial President if he helps make UHURU an executive Prime minister. But immediately after the constitution passes, the same language you heard in VIHIGA, you’ll hear it against RAILA the next day. They’ll say “Huyu mtu hatoshekangi kutoka zamani. Sisi hatuna mkataba na yeye. Si tulipea yeye government positions akapatia watu yake? Sasa anataka nini?” They’ll chose anothrr person to and replace him with RAILA as a ceremonial President. In fact, it may be WILLIAM RUTO for the sake of the security of their people in Rift Valley or MUDAVADI because they can control him like a puppet.

In fact, all the UHURU failures will be attributed to Raila. Watasema yeye ndio alifanya serikali ya Uhuru ikaanguka.

Again after UHURU’s two terms expire, they’ll now revert to the current constitution which will again make them eligible to vie and continue ruling this country.

I agree with David Murathe over DP Ruto’s future BUT He is not qualified to talk on behalf of Kikuyu

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has confirmed he shares similar sentments as David Murathe BUT says the former Gathanga MP is the least qualified to lecture DP Ruto. Kabogo seems to says that Murathe is not the Kikuyu spokesman.

Kabogo tweeted “Murathe has no authority to speak on anyone’s behalf. Who is he to ask DP Dr WSR to retire from politics in 2022 we’ve not forgotten he sold his parliamentary seat to SK Macharia. He’s politically broke.”
