4 Mps summoned by DCI over controversial sex tape on Wajir women rep

Four members of the national assembly have been summoned to record a state with the criminal investigations department.
The four include Eldas MP Aden Keynan, Abdihakim Mohamed of Fafi Constituency, Isiolo Woman Representative Rehema Jaldesa and her Kirinyaga counterpart Wangui Ngirici.

The MPs are accused of uttering defamatory statements that portrayed the MP in bad light following the circulation of the unverified video, which Ms. Gedi dismissed as fake.
Mr Keynan and Mr Mohamed are expected to appear before the investigators on Monday whereas Ms Jaldesa and Mrs Ngirici on Tuesday.
However, it is not clear whether the four will appear as requested by the investigating officer after Mr Kuyioni Josphat, the legal counsel in the National Assembly, advised Mr Sialai
that the DCI should correspond directly to the individual members rather than summoning them through the clerk of Parliament.

The video allegedly depicting Ms Gedi in a sexual act with an unknown man hit the Internet last December, but the footage it is thought to have been lifted from an international
pornographic site and modied to bear the MP’S face.
Ms Gedi protested that she was not the one in the video which she termed the handiwork of her political enemies both in the National Assembly and in her Wajir County.

“This war started a long time ago when I started exposing the rot in the county, ” the lawmaker said at the time. ”This is just a hurdle and we will overcome.”
The police have since arrested six people over the fake video, two of them from the local online news site that rst published the oensive clip, and four suspects from Wajir County government. One of the suspects is alleged to have received Sh2 million to create and leak the video.
Ms Gedi and Mr Keynan have been on the opposing sides of Wajir’s deeply polarised politics. Whereas he has thrown his weight behind current Governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud, Ms Gedi is a staunch supporter of former governor Ahmed Abdullahi.

Mr Keynan and Mr Mohamed are expected to appear before the investigators on Monday whereas Ms Jaldesa and Mrs Ngirici on Tuesday.

Breaking: Malindi OCPD is dead

Malindi OCPD Matawa Muchangi died on Monday morning while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Mombasa.

According to the area DCIO Anthony Sunguti, the OCPD fell ill on Sunday evening at his home before he was rushed to the hospital where he passed on hours later.

Immorality! Why demand for male sex workers have gone high in the city

Demand for male prostitutes in the city has shot up compared to that of female sex workers.

Our investigations on city streets have also established that some cops and high-profile figures are involved in the business.

The male sex workers, popularly known as makuchu, walk in groups along city streets— some line up with female sex workers for clients.

Away from the streets, those who don’t want to be seen outside hunting for clients have identified specific clubs in the city centre.

When we arrived at a popular joint on Tsavo Road on a Wednesday afternoon, our source who happens to be a homosexual and operates as a sex worker, pointed out a cop who was already entertaining two male sex workers with drinks before leaving for ‘the act’ at a nearby lodging.

“He is a regular client here, but he pays well. I’ve slept with him more than three times. He is a gentleman, though he can sleep with three different men in a day when he visits. The last time he paid me Sh5,000 for the whole afternoon,” claims Jack, our source.

Jack, a father of one, has been in the business for more than six years now. He said that he left his home in Narok in search of greener pastures in Nairobi.

“Even before coming to the city, I was already into it. A friend of mine introduced me to homosexuality,” revealed Jack.

Though Jack claims to have parted ways with his wife following a small misunderstanding, she (wife) has never found out that he is a male prostitute.

“Even my family members are not sure what I do for a living. But not long ago, my brother told me I walked and behaved like a gay— I told him to let me be to lead my life,” he said.

Chelsea star Willian has been slammed by fans after laughing and joking with Pep Guardiola after the Carabao Cup final.

Man City ran out fortunate winners after the game went to penalties after 120 minutes of football.

Chelsea’s players were understandably deflated after the loss.

But when footage emerged of Willian sharing a laugh with Guardiola at full-time, fans from west London struggled to see the funny side.

A clip of the pair joking went viral on social media, garnering a lot of attention from Chelsea supporters – and a host of them want the Brazilian sold after his Wembley behaviour.

Gov.Sonko turns down foreign invitation, says he is lowering spending rate

Nairobi Governor Mike SONKO has turned down invitation to Municipal Innovation meet in Tel Aviv,Israel.
The Governor said many foreign trips costs a lot leading to wastage of taxpayers’money of which he is against.
The governor said he will do the necessary to cut spending rate in the capital city.

Gov. Sonko condemns police for aiding land grabber in Kiambu

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has criticized a private investor who grabbed a road reserve leading to a local primary school in Kiambu county.

This is following a report aired on K24, that a private investor had taken over a road reserve meant for the construction of a road leading to King’othua Primary School in Karuri area.

Area residents who termed the the businessman as a ‘notorious land grabber’ took to the streets to condemn the act. They said school going children are being forced to walk for four kilometers to access their school.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Governor Sonko expressed his disappointments on how the police handled residents protesting the heinous act.

To them, going to the streets was their last resort after efforts to stop the investor from building on public land bore no fruits.

On his part, Governor Sonko said the same investor who is frustrating school going children in Kiambu is the same business man who had grabbed a public parking, toilet and a section of Nairobi Fire Station in Nairobi County and constructed a five star hotel.
