BREAKING: Blogger Nyakundi summoned by CID

Blogger and online anti-graft activist Cyprian Nyakundi has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over a series of articles he published calling for deportation of a Chinese national living in Kenya illegally.

The blogger has told this writer that he is currently at the DCI Headquarters off Kiambu Road in Nairobi.

The Chinese national known as ‘Wenjie Li’ is said to be connected to senior government officials in the Office of the President (OP) and the DCI whom, according to Nyakundi, are being used by Li to intimidate him.

Nyakundi has in the past argued, quite plausibly, that  the continued presence of Mr. Li in Kenya is contradiction considering Kenyans days ago successfully pushed for deportation of Congolese musician Koffi Olomide for ass-kicking a fellow Congolese; yet someone who may be selling national security intel and exposing our country to danger is getting state protection.

He further argues Kenyans still treat white and brown skins specially; considering that Li, and an Australian redneck who accosted a female police officer remain in the country, under heavy protection from government functionaries. The Australian was DP Ruto pilot and has been seen at least in two occasions continuing to fly the DP in most ‘kutenga rallies’ in the Rift Valley.

Ironically, both have been charged in Kenyan courts.

Kenya Today is in possession of a deportation order of Mr. Li, who is also accused of murdering his girlfriend, as well as grabbing a prime plot in Nairobi’s hurlingham area. However, according Cyprian Nyakundi (Read: Chinese Crooks: How Nkaissery’s PA’s Were Bribed To Block Wenjie Li’s Deportation), aides of Interios CS Joseph Nkaissery have blocked the execution of the deportation order.

Mr. Li has been charged in Kenyan courts for various offences, including theft and forgeries.

Nyakundi’s news blog (cnyakundi.com) has been under heavy attack from cyber criminals who seem to target articles touching on Mr. Li and Nation Media Group (NMG).
