Yet-to-decide-whether-he-is-in-ODM-or-not Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has been accused of storming a meeting in Changamwe to fan tribalism.
Ababu had claimed he was hosted by Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi but the MP has described the claims as “nonsensical”, saying he was meeting his constituents when Ababu, a colleague in parliament, unexpectedly stormed the meeting.
The meeting was a funds drive for a self-help group in an area of the constituency populated by luhya ethnic group.
Hon. Mwinyi accuses Ababu of fanning tribal animosity as the Budalangi MP only held meetings with Luhya community members in the four days he was in coast region.
Fantastic conclusion to our 4-day coast tour, as we held talks with leaders of Western people in Mombasa and Malindi http://pic.twitter.com/fpTB9H53gq

Ababu has descended from the higher pedestal of an upcoming national leader and is increasingly immersed in primitive ethnic-based politics. He is moving across the country meeting isolated luhya groups preaching nonsensical theories on ethnic consciousness.
