Shocked by the sheer debauchery of Kisumu MCAs who are currently in a ‘bonding’ trip in Tanzania, Kisumu residents have turned their outrage on Governor Jack Ranguma, believed to have sponsored the trip.
The governor has dismissed the claims, and an MCA who did not attend the trip has corroborated, revealing that the costs are being incurred by the county assembly.
The governor has taken to social media to urge residents, particularly young people, to register as voters.
“You – young guys – should be the ones to shape your future. The older dudes may not fully understand the teen perspective. They may be confused by your high tech era, your fashion, your interests.
If you guys fail to register to vote, you’ll be yielding the ultimate power to older dudes to make decisions about the leaders and laws that will shape and lead society for decades, and you can be sure that those decisions won’t be congruent with the teen psyche and perspective.
I want to work with you – young guys – to transform our county. Go register to vote!”
