Fellow Kenyans, my attention has been drawn to Dennis Itumbi’s post where he has falsely accused me of “defrauding” Ksh500 million from NCPB. His allegations are malicious, unfounded, uncouth, uncivilized, illegal, far-fetched, and aimed at assassinating my character. At no time did I ever defraud NCPB.
Erad a registered company entered into a legally binding contract with NCPB. NCPB breached the contract and Erad sued for damages. The High court of Kenya awarded Erad compensation after a tedious litigation. Many appeals and applications have been heard over this matter in both High Court and Court of Appeal and Erad Ltd has emerged victorious. Is that defrauding? Itumbi has been send by Jubilee’s Uhuru and Ruto to malign my name. It is wrong.
A common decency has been thrown out of the window by political thuggeries and vindictiveness. Read the attached documents including paragraph 20 of Hon. Kirwa, then minister for Agriculture’s Notice in the advert. Finally, I ceased being Erad’s director and shareholder in December, 2005 before they sued NCPB in 2007. Whatever transpires in Erad firm is not my concern. Truth will remain the same however many times the lies are peddled.
