Passaris rides on Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi to settle old Equity loan

By Kenya Today Team

These streets have no morals anymore and she who comes to Equity (Bank) must come with clean hands.

Esther Passaris accused Equity Bank CEO Dr. James Mwangi of improper sexual advances. The incident allegedly happened in 2006. She’s making the accusation this week, 2016, a decade later!

No, she didn’t even accuse Dr. Mwangi. She made allusion to the fact that Dr. James Mwangi may have had something to do with Equity Bank refusing to extend to her a loan facility. And this was because he, allegedly, can’t accept ‘no’ for an answer.

Most alpha males don’t either.

Anyway, like is common with women snubbed, she added a sexual angle; which interested Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, the “dearth vader” of Kenya’s blogosphere, who blew the scandal through the roof, and referred to Dr. James Mwangi as a ‘piece of shit’.

The unwritten rule among bloggers is that bloggers watch bloggers backsides, even if bare, so let’s get to the issues here.

Esther Passaris, long long ago when Adopt-A-Light was the inthing in Nairobi; when there were no hashtags on twitter and no Whatsapp on most phones to share nudes or porn videos like those of Chelah Yegon; approached Equity Bank for a loan to – as she said – light up the slums.

There are variations to the story…to the exact reason she wanted money. Some say she had won a tender to erect Equity Bank billboards across Nairobi and its environs. Others say she wanted money to make her nails, or the many other women things that money, a lot of money, do.

Legend has it that she got the loan, but before leaving the premises of Equity Bank,  she also shared fluids with  a rising star in the Banking Industry who had not reached Tom Wolf’s retirement age of a Kenyan presidential candidate.

His name was James Mwangi, now Dr. James Mwangi.

Dr-James-Mwangi-1

The mistake Passaris made was to assume that her loan, of Ksh40 million or thereabout, would be repaid by Dr. Mwangi; to whom legend has it that she had formed the habit of sharing her ‘shisha’ with every evening at the Bank’s Equity Centre offices in Upper Hill.

While Passaris claims Dr. Mwangi made advances to her, and she said no; this is not what is publicly known; for after Dr. Mwangi, Passaris went on to destroy other men, in the same fashion. One such man was businessman Pius Ngugi, who would later drag Passaris to court in what he termed the woman’s penchant to coerce him to give her money. You can read that here.

Passaris later had run-ins with ODM, which had nominated her in unclear circumstances. Read this book.

When you follow the life of Passaris with men, you realize that the only difference is that Dr. Mwangi had a bank, and an ego big enough to accommodate the tantrums of a pioneer gold digger, contrary to assertions by blogger Nyakundi.

Our team of bloggers, having reviewed all evidence before us; and, came to the conclusion that while Dr. Mwangi is no saint; Esther Passaris is herself not Ceaser’s wife.

Chris Maina, this blog’s long time legal nerd who studies law at Georgetown, told us that she who comes to Equity must come with clean hands.

Dikembe Disembe, the Blogger-at-Large for the ODM party quipped that these streets have no morals anymore.

Others nodded their heads.
