ATWOLI defends SAKAJA on JKL, confirms he is pure Luhya, ‘both mother and father’

COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has confirmed that hon Johnson Sakaja is pureLuhya, rebutting claims by his opponents that he is non-Luhyia.

Speaking on Jeff Koinange Live last night at Citizen TV, the Luhyia kingpin dismissed allegations being peddled on social media by Sakaja’s haters as baseless and truthless.

Atwoli said both Sakaja’s parents are Luhyas. He said that his father comes from the same village and clan as the late Kijana Wamalwa and his mother comes from Atwoli’s village.

He challenged those saying he is not Luhya to do the same to the late Wamalwa because they both share the same parantage.

He nonetheless termed insinuations that Luhyas in Nairobi can only vote for one of their on as refutable and uncalled for.

He urged Nairobians to vote for Sakaja because his leadership skills have been tested and proven.

He confirmed that he personally fostered Sakaja in his home and he sees him as one of his children.

“You see Jeff, Sakaja is my son because I personally bred him.he is a brilliant young man with unmatched record during his stay as nominated Member of the National Assembly” Said Atwoli.

“Forget about those rumours being hawked that Sakaja is not Luhya. Sakaja is pure Luhya. His mother comes from my home in Khwisero and his father comes from the same village as Wamalwa” He said.

“When you say Sakaja is not Luhya is like saying the lake Kijana Wamalwa is not Luhya. People should just vote in this young man” He added.
