Overwhelmed By Messages of Goodwill Raila Opens Bank Accounts for Contributions from Supporters

Following a successful presidential petition at the Supreme Court, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga campaign secretariat has received thousands of requests from the general public who want to volunteer while others want to offer cash contributions.

The overwhelming messages of goodwill from members of affiliate parties and also non members has prompted the presidential candidate himself to roll out to the public the bank account number and other funding platforms for the public.

Here is the message shared by the presidential candidate;

“Looks like this 2nd round campaigns will be funded by Kenyans themselves, its like everybody wants to take ownership of Raila campaigns, this will be a first in the history of our politics having a people driven funding” – an official at the secretariat who requested anonmity told this writer.

“Since Kenyattas own a quarter of Kenya they have enough money for campaign. I propose NASA ‘6 million’ voters contribute 10 ksh minimum only for the campaign so it’s truly a peoples campaign and then volunteer to do the door to door campaigns, volunteer to get voters in strongholds to polling stations, observe elections and volunteer as agents in all polling stations…then let’s see” – Njoki Wamai posted on Facebook
