ROBERT BURALE – “Sincerely, Uhuru Kenyatta Is WORLD’s GREATEST Leader”

I have said time without number, there is no contention that President Uhuru Kenyatta is one of the greatest leader in the world.

Raila Odinga’s inauguration ceremony on Tuesday taught me endless lessons. It exuded the true character of the President. The only intelligent conclusion I came to, is that, he is simply the wisest President in the world.

Love him or hate him, Uhuru remains the true son of his father. Raila too, took after his father the great Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.

President Uhuru Kenyatta possesses unique traits that money can’t buy; charisma, guts and a spartan courage. He is highly principled and firm.

His uninterestingness to press the button of resistance on Tuesday caught the attention of international community. It earned him a worldwide recognition and utmost respect. His patience has booked him a special place in history.

On the other hand, they say Kenya is among the countries with the most vibrant opposition. Raila Odinga is one of the bravest men you can have as an opposition leader. You must be well prepared to face him. He hardly accuses without evidence. He can make or break you.

How Uhuru has managed to survive, only God knows. But I guess it is because he is a wise man who surrounds himself with wise men. His propensity to being a good listener has tapered him into a firebrand that history cannot afford to ignore.

His character can be likened to those of Galileo Galilei, Thomas Jefferson, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill.

In his intelligent write-ups, William Shakespeare said “O, it is excellent to have a giant’s strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant” That President Kenyatta has the giant’s strength; he elected not to tyrannously use it as a giant. Being a wise man, he knew the outcome of such undertaking and eschewed the path of political turmoil.

He knew that the people who flooded Uhuru Park are his own. The fact that he regards humility as a core virtue, the President chose humbleness over pride. He chose diplomacy over war. He opted for peace and not quarrels. President Kenyatta elected to be wise and not folly. By choosing peace over confrontations, he showed unstinting love for his people.

He knew well that anger is an acid that can do more to the vessel in which it is stored than anything on which it is poured” Subsequently, he calmed down, withdrew the policemen from the park and remained unruffled. What an intelligent man! As fellow compatriots, we owe this great man the hugest debt of gratitude.

Sometimes I ask myself, what would have happen if the President decided to take the bull by its horns and say enough is enough? What would have happened if the thousands of Kenyans who thronged Uhuru Park clashed with the police? How claimed many lives would we be counting now? Try to imagine, what would the situation would be like here in our country. These to leaders deserve an accolade.
