Olesegun Obasanjo is AU envoy, he does not report to Nigeria Foreign Minister ,Geoffrey Jideofor Kwusike Onyeama in Abuja.
Benjamin Mkapa is AU envoy, he does not report to Augustine Mahiga in Dodoma.
Koffi Annan, is AU envoy, he does not report to GmShirley Ayorkor Botchway in Accra.
Thabo Mbeki, is AU envoy.He does not report to Lindiwe Sisulu in Pretoria.
The narrative doing rounds that IF Raila takes the AU envoy post , he will be reporting to a junior minister like Ababu…ni UPUS.
He should reject that appointment.
