A session of the Senate Public Accounts Committee was this morning interrupted after Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and Senator Mike Sonko engaged in a verbal altercation.
Trouble started after Sonko accused Kidero and his Personal assistant of murdering the wife of a property owner in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.
The two leaders nearly engaged in a physical fight but were stopped by Parliament security officials.
Kidero was being grilled by the Senate PAC team over audit queries on revenue collection at City Hall.
