Nation Media Group continue to treat its esteemed readers to a sanctimonious circus over the sacking of Special Projects Editor Dennis Galava.
Galava’s offence was to jot an editorial critical of Uhuru regime which nation laments had procedural issues. However, a terse memo to the journalists of the media house, explaining the suspension of Galava is signed by Mr. Mshindi who, according to an exclusive photo leaked by a member of his family, shows he is in India for surgery and doesn’t appear to be mentally capacitated to have made such a decision.
The culprit, according other sources, is Nation CEO Joe Muganda. This week he was overly excited about the sacking, comparing Mr. Galava to a ‘bank robber’.
“Surely, he could not have done it. As a family, we feel we owe his friends and professional colleagues beyond Nation Media Group the truth. He was not part of it,” a family member of Mr. Mshindi was quoted saying.
This development continue to cast a dark shadow on the media house which many Kenyans spent last week bashing for its irrationality.
