Orange Democratic Movement Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) today raised strong objections to Daily Nation Newspaper’s splash which it protested was misleading and did not present the true position of the party.
ODM also took issue with the Nation’s characterization of the Party as ‘Raila Party’, a term which Nation often employ instead of ‘ODM’ on its headlines. Holding high a copy of today’s edition of Daily Nation, the party’s Secretary General Ababu Namwamba, also Budalangi MP, led NEC in condemning the paper as engaging in ‘cheap propaganda’.
At the same time, ODM also dismissed a letter doing rounds on social media purportedly written by former Secretary General Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o to current Secretary General Ababu Namwamba over what the letter termed ‘Dereliction of Duty’.
