Dr Naomi Shaban the Taveta MP has resigned from Jubilee party and will be seaking re-election on another party. Dr Shabani is a close ally of President Uhuru. In a letter that was leaked via social media, the legislator doesnt indicate her preffered party.
The land issue in Taveta is too hot for many especially those aligned to Uhuru Jubilee alliance. It is widely rumoured that Dr Shaban may contenst on KANU ticket.
