VIDEO: THOUSANDS of Kericho Residents attend KANU Campaign Rally in Kapkatet Grounds

A huge crowd thronged Kapkatet stadium, Bureti subcounty, on Friday for a rally to drum up support for Kanu’s Kericho senator candidate Paul Sang.

Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto hosted top Kanu officials to the meeting of about 4,000 held ahead of the March 7 by-election.

The officials were led by party national chairman Gideon Moi and secretary general Nick Salat, in what was termed the biggest campaign since the 2013 general election.

Sang will face Jubilee candidate Aaron Cheruiyot in the race that also includes Daniel Tanui of National Vision Party.

Senators Zipporah Kittony (Nominated), John Lonyangapuo (West Pokot) and Stephen Ntutu (Narok) were among those present.

Others were Baringo Speaker William Kamket, Members of Parliament Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills) and Johano Ngeno (Emurua Dikir), former Kipkelion MP Magerer Langat, Hellen Sambili and Lydia Ntimama.
