Mike Sonko HUMILIATED by Kamba Community in Malindi as they pledge TOTAL Support to ODM’s Willy Mtengo

The Akamba community in Malindi Constituency turns down Sonko’s invitation and pledges loyalty to CORD.

Delegates from the Akamba community today met up with Governor Kingi in Malindi to ascertain their full support for Willy Mtengo, the ODM flag bearer in the coming by-election.

This comes moments after Jubilee’s Mike Sonko invited the Akamba community at a luxurious hotel to lure them into Jubilee. The delegation expressed their frustration on how Jubilee regime has treated them and negatively affected their business. They explained how important it is for CORD to retain the seat as it will strengthen CORD’s influence in the coming general election.

They cited the sacking of TOP Kamba personalities from public appointments including Hon. Charity Ngilu’s sacking as CS for Lands and Housing, terming it as a betrayal to the Community. They thanked Governor Kingi for ensuring there was equality in distribution of County positions by appointing Racheal Musyoki as County Minister for Health and other County officials.

“As members of the Akamba community we’re fed up of being used by Jubilee for their development. With CORD, and Kalonzo being a principle, we will have a say in the coming CORD government. Sonko has sold us to the Most corrupt government and is leading us to our own doom. It is therefore important that we unite and support Willy Mtengo under CORD and win by a major landslide as we await to take over the Gov’t in 2017” one member added.
