Yassin Juma a top journalist who reports on matters horn of Africa has been arrested and he is alleged to being held at Muthaiga Police Station. It was not immeditely clear why he was arrested.
The former NTV journalist is has for years reported on horn of africa and lately he has been reporting from the front-line on the War against Alshabaab in Somali.
Following the attack on El-EDE camp by Alshabaab leading to loss of 100 KDF soldiers Juma has been a source of information as government failed to provide any. Having worked in the War frontline and visited and stayed in Somali Juma has been a source of critical information gathered via his local communities in Somali.
Its highly likely that he has been arrested following his extensive reporting of war….
