Uhuru Park Rally starts at 9am, Provide SECURITY as per High Court order- CORD TELLS Nkaissery

PRESS STATEMENT BY CORD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

We take note of a statement issued on behalf of Inspector General of Police a few minutes ago purporting to request the CORD Coalition to consider holding it rally elsewhere other than Uhuru Park grounds on the basis that they will be covering a multiplicity of events but more importantly that they will be providing security to two visiting heads of state.

We wish to draw the attention of the police to the orders issued by the High Court this afternoon and which orders are well within their knowledge since we have served them with copies of the said order. More particularly we wish to draw their attention to order 4 whish directs thus

“That the Inspector General of Police is hereby directed to ensure that there is sufficient security for those attending the rally and those going about their businesses”

As a coalition we intend to abide by the court order in its entirety and therefore reassure our supporters that we will hold our rally at Uhuru Park tomorrow from 9am. It is now evident to all Kenyans that the police have since the beginning set out on a path to frustrate the coalition from holding its rally.

We have no doubt that the police have adequate personnel as evidenced in the manner they have dealt with the anti-IEBC demos to effectively provide security to all Madaraka day activities. It is also our considered view that the police were all along aware that the country will be hosting the two visiting heads of state and never bothered to raise this matter from the very day CORD notified of its intention to hold a rally at Uhuru Park.

In the premise, we are persuaded that the police request is actuated with malice, bad faith and is made too late to be considered. The request is therefore firmly declined.

The upshot of it is that CORD will proceed with its planned rally at Uhuru Park tomorrow as decreed by court. The police should provide security as directed

NO MATTER How you Look at It, CORD FUCKED UP. Was Lunch with President Park Geun-hye important? NKT !

By Jackson O

As a martial arts practitioner, I am going to use a hand-to-hand combat analogy. In kumite ( Fighting), a fighter never shows an opponent any signs of injury, pain or fatigue no matter what kind of hit they may have taken in a given session. The logic here is simple: the moment your opponent realises that you are in pain, is the moment they will close in for the kill!

Governor Evans Kidero did his part, the lady of the cloth had surrendered the park to the opposition, the government officials were already speaking in ‘tongues’, the courts and human rights groups had already cosigned CORD’s push for a parallel rally and the supporters were, yet again, ginned up for another political showdown!

In other words, the politically schizophrenic Jubilee government was on a steady path to Weimar Republic. Kenyans were dropping phrases like “Dictatorial regime,” “Dark days” etc. Jubilee’s overreach was nauseating to many a Kenyan and the public confidence level was clocking embarrassing lows. All the suits had to do was to hold tight just for ONE day and go for the jugular on Madaraka Day!

And then everything came to a screeching halt.

An ‘injured’ Jubilee government used a state visit to deflate CORD’s populist push, dilute the momentum heading into tomorrow’s rally, mask the embarrassing stunts that they pulled in the last couple of days, and then crowned it all with a priceless political trophy by way of a ‘bipartisan’ photo op that was promptly disseminated to media houses and the blogosphere!

Talk about a political chess move! In one photo op, Jubilee managed to make Orange juice out of freaking lemons! The utter dejection and disappointment among CORD supporters is so profound that one wonders how those smiley faces at Statehouse will be able to turn around and be ‘very angry’ on Madaraka Day!

This is a huge debit on our political ledger and to make it worse, that money is right on Jubilee’s books! Amazing.

DETAILS About South Korea President who DEMANDED to Meet Raila in Statehouse TODAY

Because Kenya’s mainstream media and many other sources will not tell you more about the visiting South Korean Leader Park Geun-hye, let me do it here.

Like Uhuru, Park Geun-hye’s father was Korea’s President in the 1960s, precisely the same time Jomo Kenyatta was President of Kenya.

Her father, Park Chung-hee, ruled Korea from 1960 to 1979, when he passed away. Uhuru’s father ruled Kenya also from 1963 to 1978, when he too passed away.

Often when people discuss Kenya and Korea, they end the discussion at the point where the two countries had the same GDP in the 1960s while the South Korea GDP today is almost 10 times that of Kenya. What people don’t see is how the leadership of these two countries have been markedly different.

Between Park Chung-hee (president of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th republics of South Korea) and his daughter, Park Geun-hye (president of the 6th republic of South Korea), there have been seven presidents!

Between Jomo Kenyatta and his son, there has only been two other presidents, Daniel Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki.

In the 53 year period where Kenya has only been ruled by four men, South Korea has been ruled by 10 men and one woman, the current President who is in Nairobi. When Moi ruled Kenya for 24 straight years, the Koreans had seven presidents in that period alone!

One Korean President has been assassinated. There has been two coups and several massacres.

Park Geun-hye came to power in February 2013, just a month before Uhuru. She is barred from seeking re-election next year. The South Koreans elect a president for one term of five years.

The irony is that as Park Geun-hye and her National Frontier Party will leave leadership next year, she is not discussing some succession line-up. She has no ethnic baggage to protect.

South Korea was developed by Park Geun-hye’s father, the venerable Park Chung-hee. He was solider, diplomat and statesman. As Jomo Kenyatta was grabbing land and stoking ethnicity and betraying fellows like Jaramogi who fought for him and country, Park’s father was setting the conditions for Korean take-off.

Park Geun-hye’s family are not the richest in Korea; neither are they the largest land owners of peasant squatters lands.

So, today, as we celebrate her and give her our highest military honour; we must do so feeling ashamed of the historical opportunities we’ve wasted with men like Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Moi.

The 24 years Moi spent building cattle dips and gabions and terrorising the opposition in a monolithic tyrannical fiefdom would have been used for industrial take-off.

The other day as I came from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, I saw LG branded billboards welcoming her. LG is a Korean Manufacturer. So is Samsung.

What modern tool have bequeathed humanity?

The politico-moral gist of this post is that you cannot elect dunderheads and tribal chiefs and expect to prosper to the global stage. Also, there is wisdom in continually changing leaders, including through assassination, coups and massacres.

Historians now widely agree that had the 1982 coup succeeded Kenya would have attained its middle level status by 2005. Right now, even the 2030 dream is a mirage.

Unless we make a paradigm shift in how we do politics here, we will keep on staging 21 gun salutes to nations that should be our equals, but are not, because we are a mediocre people, used to mediocre political leadership.

WHY Uhuru INVITED Raila to STATEHOUSE

Statehouse operatives were surprised and shocked when visiting South Korean President H.E Geun-hye DEMANDED to meet CORD leader Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

In October 2015 Prime Minister was in Seol South Korea where he was as the Chief Guest at the Korea Unification Drive hosted by the Global Peace Foundation. The former Prime Minister was accompanied by the Governor of Kisii County, H. E James Ongwae.

Premier Raila enjoys warm relations with the Seol government and president Geun-hye respects him as global icon.

DP Ruto,Hon Duale and Hawkish Interior CS Joseph Nkisery were left high and dry when president Uhuru placed a call to Raila and requested him to meet his guest at Statehouse. It was embarrassing for Nkaissery to meet his party boss who he has been threatening to arrest if he sets foot in Uhuru Park tomorrow.

Sources close to Duale indicate that the Mandera town MP apologised and even joked that Nkaissery was ODM/Raila’s gift to Uhuru; “bwana Prime Minister huyu Masai yako ulitupea ndiye shida”.

Prime Minister Raila is said to have told Nkaissery to talk less and avoid embarrassing his people, he confirmed that he will be at Uhuru park tomorrow and asked Nkaissery to not to sleep until he is satisfied that security is smooth for the CORD brigade.

EXCLUSIVE: Raila and Wetangula CURRENTLY MEETING President Uhuru in STATEHOUSE

Rt. HON Raila Odinga and co-principal Moses Wetang’ula the now at State House Nairobi for meeting with President Uhuru and DP Ruto.

Observers raise eyebrows at unusual meeting when President is hosting the South Korean head of state.

Sources indicated that Uhuru used Her Excellency Geun-hye president of Korea in order to have a one on one meeting with Raila following humilliation at the high court where Judge Georde Odunga directed that CORD is fully within the law to conduct a rally at Uhuru park.

Uhuru is also alleged to be desperate to speak to Raila on the IEBC fiasco.

The Korean president is also said to have demanded to see Hon Odiga who is a great admirer and marketer of the Korean economic development model…??

Justice Odunga declared NSC and Statehouse ban NULL & VOID ; rules that CORD acted within the law to secure Uhuru park and are therefore free to hold madaraka day rally on 1st June as they had earlier planned.

The ruling by High Court is a big hard slap in the face for Uhuru regime who yesterday put out a scaremongering press statement

CORD’s powerful legal team presented an urgent petition the duty judge challenging the Jubilee’s government decision to ban the right to assemble at Uhuru Park and Nyayo Stadium.

BREAKING: BIG BOOST to Raila as KNCHR Supports CORD Uhuru Park Rally

The National Commission on Human Rights has thrown its weight behind opposition CORD’s right to hold a prayer meeting tomorrow at Uhuru Park,Nairobi. This is a bog boost to the opposition in what is seen as curtailing of rights of Kenyans as enshrined in the constitution.

The commission also apologised to Raila Odinga over its statement castigating Cord protests last week. Commission says it will defend right to and regrets wording of the statement during a meeting with Raila Odinga.

The rights body met former Premier and CORD leader Raila Odinga at his Capitol Hill offices today.

DRAMA at Supreme Court as CJ Mutunga INTERDICTS Registrar Ms Njora for DISOBEYING orders

Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has resolved to interdict Supreme Court Registrar Lucy Njora for disobeying his orders on Friday to pass him the file on Justice Kalpana Rawal.

The Show Cause letter is due to be delivered to her this Tuesday morning.

According to sources, Mutunga directed Njora on Friday to forward the Rawal case file to him but she disobeyed. Njora seems to be receiving orders from Statehouse operatives.

Judge Njoki Ndungu was once exposed by late Jacob Juma to have strong Statehouse connections where she serves as a kitchen cabinet of sorts in the night while in the day she is a SCK Judge (alleged Juma on Twitter)

Interdiction means the Registrar will now stop working and will only receive half salary until her case is investigated and decided.

The Judicial Service Commission plans to meet on Thursday to consider the conduct of Supreme Court judge Njoki Ndung’u over allegations of misconduct after she allegedly hijacked the file in the Justice Kalpana Rawal case despite Ibrahim being the duty judge.

Judge Ndung’u on Friday issued an injunction within 30 minutes that suspended the retirement of Deputy Chief Justice Rawal after the Appeal Court ruled that all judges must retire at 70.

Rawal reached 70 years in January 2016 but wants to continue serving until 74, as per the former constitution.

Yesterday the CJ directed that the Rawal appeal to the Supreme Court should be heard on June 2 instead of June 24, as ordered by judge Ndungu.

The CJ constituted a five judge bench of judges Mutunga, Ibrahim, Ojwang, Wanjala and Ndungu to hear the matter.

Mutunga yesterday asked the second Supreme Court Registrar Esther Nyaiyaki to notify the parties to appear before Justices Ndung’u and Smokin Wanjala for directions on Tuesday.

On Monday, Rawal filed an objection to the CJ’s directives saying he had varied orders given by judge Ndung’u without a legal mandate. It will be raised before the court this morning when parties appear for direction.

On Thursday, the five judge bench should hear an application by the JSC seeking to reverse Ndungu’s decision to suspend Rawal’s retirement, as well as hearing Justice Rawal’s appeal.

Through lawyer Issa Mansour the JSC says that Ndungu presided over the case despite not being the duty judge and therefore her ruling should be struck from records.

According to the JSC, there was no notice of appeal before Ndungu, no certificate of urgency and no contested judgement.

However, the Supreme Court may not even take off on Thursday as its composition may be challenged in the ongoing power struggle over the CJ succession.

It is possible that some parties may ask for Mutunga and Smoking Wanjala to be excused as they sit in the JSC that decided on the 70 year retirement age and will therefore not be independent.

Similarly, Ndungu might be disqualified from sitting in judgement on a decision she herself had already taken.

That might leave only two Supreme Court judges available which does not

Uhuru and Ruto Jubilee regime is FULL of CORRUPTION and TRIBALISM – Hon Cheruiyot Tells Church Congregation

Kuresoi South MP Zakayo Cheruiyot has accused the Jubilee administration of perpetuating tribalism in public service and development.

Speaking after a church function, Mr Cheruiyot said President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto had perfected the art of tribal appointments, where two tribes are taking the lion’s share of Government jobs.

The MP said development and employment in the country were skewed and not a reflection of the real face of Kenya. “The country is split along tribal lines and if it’s a crime for some of us to point out such underlying issues for the sake of the country, so be it. It’s also that high time the church must remain firm and speak the truth,” said the MP.

The MP said tribal appointments being made by the President had divided the country more than ever before.

EXPOSED: Hon Dr Kevin Osur, Ahmed Papa and Jakakimba ODM’s NEXT BIG THINGS

ODM deputy party leader and Mombasa governor H.E Governor Hassan Joho on Saturday named top five ODM youths tagged to play a critical role in the party now and post 2017 period.

The named youths include Dr Kevin Osur, Ahmed Papa, Silas Jakakimba, Omar Mwinyi, Tendayi Mutana among others

Dr Kevin Osur is a well known ‘Railist’ and top groundsman who led grass-roots campaign to more people registered has voters in Nyanza and Western Kenya, he also led largely successive anti IEBC campaigns in Homa Bay county.

Indiectly Governor Joho endorsed Ahmed “Papa” Ibrahim and Dr. Kevin Osur in their quest for Langata and Alego Usonga parliamentary seats respectively on Saturday during a well attended youth convention in Mombasa.

Joho was widely cheered by the more than 5000 youthful delegates when, in the presence of Party Leader Raila Odinga, he read names of youthful 2017 aspirants terming them pillars around Raila and the future of ODM.

Joho referred to Papa as “Lang’ata 001” implied to mean presumptive Lang’ata member of parliament in – waiting. Joho’s clout in ODM circles is perhaps second only to the Party Leader and he is himself popularly known as Mombasa 001 by his supporters.
Mohammed Ali “Jicho Pevu” who is eyeing the Nyali parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket was also among the participants who attended the convention.

But it is Joho’s remarks, an influential party functionary, that are being viewed in different light although made far from Lang’ata and Alego. The implicit endorsement will certainly get other aspirants and the incumbents scampering back to the drawing board. It is believed that the support of Joho gives them a boost which may be seen as headstart at the ODM nominations which are known to be more competitive than the main elections.

Osuri delivered an electrifying speech that had the delegates on their feet applauding and in the process making a collective pledge, led by Osuri, to pursue leadership change by whatever means necessary.

VP Kalonzo Musyoka CONDEMNS STATEHOUSE move to BAN CORD Uhuru Park Madaraka Rally

PRESS RELEASE FROM H.E STEPHEN KALONZO MUSYOKA ON STATEMENT RELEASED BY GOVERNMENT SPOKESMAN ON CORD’S RALLY ON MADARAKA DAY

I unreservedly condemn the decision by the Jubilee Government to bar CORD from holding a legitimate prayer meeting at Uhuru Park on 1st June 2016 which decision is based on false allegations regarding state security. If what the government spokesman has said is true, then the Jubilee government is working to destabilize the East African Community (EAC) because “Two neighboring state” can only mean East African States. I therefore challenge Jubilee to tell us which neighboring Countries and which individuals are working to destabilize Kenya.

I must mention that some of us have worked hard to correct the mistakes leading to the collapse of the EAC in 1977. East Africans have worked hard at regional integration to the level of EAC, which the Jubilee Government is now actively trying to undermine. It is not lost on Kenyans and indeed East Africans that the important Ministry of EAC affairs is now practically a department of the Ministry of Labor, while Uganda for instance, has the Deputy Prime Minister designated as the focal Minister for East African Affairs.

Rather than hiding under cover of State Security, Jubilee should now clearly state that they are not interested in national dialogue to resolve the IEBC crisis.

Though currently out of the country, I am in close consultation with my brothers Moses Wetangula, Raila Odinga and other patriotic Kenyans as we fashion the next cause of action.

God bless Kenya.

H.E Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka
CORD Co-Principal.

Wahome Thuku: Reverend Lucy Ngunjiri GAVE UP Uhuru Park to CORD, Jubilee being PETTY

By Wahome Thuku

YESTERDAY at 7am, I listened to Ev Lucy wa Ngunjiri give a personal, 6min statement on her radio show, saying she would not hold her meeting at Uhuru Park on 1st. I think some Jubilee leaders are now trying to influence her to make political capital out of the controversy. Lucy, you are an evangelist, these are politicians. Dont let them use you. Dont let THIS happen.

Ev Lucy wa Ngunjiri has let go her interest in use of Uhuru Park on June 1st.
She has made the decision to avoid a physical confrontation with Cord. Speaking this morning she has said that though she paid 150k to use the park for 4 days long before Cord came in she received a lettter from the governor’s office last night telling her that she paid before approval was made. Lucy says though she will follow up the matter as a right on Monday, she had decided not to hold prayers there on 1st but would use it on 2nd and 3rd. She says she is neither a Jubilee or Cord fan and her ministry brings together all tribes and communities. Lucy has made the statement in her radio show afew minutes ago. She says she has a ministry to protect and would not fight with Cord but would still demand her rights adding that she had spent a fortune in organising the event. Her PBB is 10 yrs old. Quoting the bible, Lucy says prayers should be a lifestyle and not a one-day event.
That is my Lucy wa Ngunjiri, a decent lady.

BREAKING: Uhuru regime BLOCKS Raila CORD Uhuru Park RALLY on Madaraka Day

The government has banned Cord and a church fighting over Uhuru Park from hosting any meeting at the grounds on June 1.

Cord had planned parallel Madaraka Day celebrations at the grounds, a move that was contested by Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries who claimed they had booked the same venue.

Government spokesman Erick Kiraithe on Monday said the decision to ban the two rallies was arrived at by the National Security Advisory Committee after noting that the two events posed a security threat.

He announced that the Nyayo National stadium was also out of bounds for any activity on Wednesday, June 1 for the same reason.

“With all the factors surrounding the incidents, the NSAC regrettably noted that the two incidents had taken dangerous political dimensions and as a result, it was decided that the grounds will be sealed off to both parties for security reasons,” he said.

Cord has plans to hold the meeting to mirror the celebrations that are to be led by President Uhuru Kenyatta at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on the same day.

Uhuru Park had also been booked by the Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries for a three day prayer meeting that was to end on June 2.

Both parties had claimed to have a green light from the Nairobi County Government to hold their functions at the contested venue, but the county insists Cord has the permit.

BREAKING: Chief Justice Willy Mutunga OVERRULES Njoki Ndungu FAST TRACKS Rawal case

Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has directed the hearing on the retirement age of Deputy CJ Kalpana Rawal and Justice Philip Tunoi be heard on Thursday.

The CJ said in a statement that given the speed at which the application was made and public interest it has generated, he decided to fast track the case and bring it forward.

While suspending the Court of Appeal decision on Friday, Lady Justice Njoki Ndung’u directed the case to be heard on June 27.

By then, Mutunga would have exited the judiciary and there would be a quorum hitch because the Supreme Court would not have at least five judges required to hear the case.

In the statement, Mutunga directed the Supreme Court registrar to notify the parties to appear before Judges Smokin Wanjala and Ndungu tomorrow for directions on the hearing of the case.

Meanwhile, former Law Society of Kenya CEO Apollo Mboya has filed a fresh petition before the Judicial Service Commission seeking removal of judge Ndungu.

Mboya says Njoki engaged in misconduct in issuing an order on Friday to halt retirement of deputy CJ Kalpana Rawal when there was a clear conflict of interest.

He says in his petition that Njoki and two of her Supreme Court colleagues already pronounced themselves on the issue of judges retirement age. On Friday the Appellate court sent judge Rawal and Tunoi home, ruling that judges should retire at 70.

STEALING in The NAME of The LORD

By The Banana Peddler
Since I was birthed, I grew up knowing that the Kikuyu community has the highest number of thugs per square kilometre. As I grew up, I also learnt that they have the highest number of con-pastors East of Sahara, North of Limpopo, and South of Migingo. You can call me names but deep down your heart, you know what I am saying. Usman dan Fodio was right, “Conscience is an open wound; only truth can heal it,”

A cold shutter runs through my spine when I see how some people who call themselves spiritual leaders behave. Most of Kenyan pastors are rotten and worse than the devil himself. Call this blasphemy if so wish. I don’t care. However, it is God who will judge us all someday.

I always say that most of Kenyan “CHURCHES” hypocritically steal in the name of the lord to survive. Let me reaffirming my remarks owing to the ongoing tag of war between the Church and opposition concerning the booking of Uhuru Park venue. The insistence of the church that it booked the park first is tellingly absurd. Nonetheless, the church’s involvement in the snafu is suggestive. CORD booked the venue first and even announced it. Suddenly, a Church sponsored by Bishop Mark Kariuki of Deliverance emerged from nowhere and claimed to have booked the venue first.

Why is it that everytime CORD announces a function to be held at Uhuru Park, a church from Central Kenya comes forward to claim rights to use the same facility the same time as CORD’s?

I want to tell the so called “spiritual leaders” from Mt. the Kikuyu community that sometimes it pays to be timid. The Bible is right: The meek shall inherit the earth. When those who are building war chests confront one another – and then annihilate one another – the meek shall emerge from their cocoons and occupy what is left of the earth. Another proverb puts it that: “The bravest soldier is the one that saved his life.”

The only lucrative “business” left in Kenya today is the business of church because there are many sheep to steal from. That is why those thieves who realize they are about to be killed pretend to be born again and graduate to the next level where they steal peacefully vide the church.

Sincerely, I hear some of my Kikuyu friends self-proclaim that they are the ISRAELITES of Kenya. Pwahaha! Wait a minute, if stealing in the name of the lord is what it takes for one to become an “Israelite” I better remain the Turkana I am and sell my Bananas in peace.

Is Mark Kariuki the best example of a true Christian? Come on! No. This is this the same man that had been initially accused of worshiping the devil? Is this the same Mark Kariuki that last week asked government to beat up Raila and other anti-IEBC CORD protesters when they exercise their constitutional rights under article 37?

One thing I know, most of Kenya Christians are REAL TIME FOOLS. God says in Hosea 4:6 that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. No wonder most of these pastors from Central Kenya are caught on cameras faking miracles and stealing in the name of the lord and sheep still flock their churches.

I have a premonition that 98% of Kenyan pastors will not make it to heaven.

TWO Kisii men FIGHT OVER Madaraka Celebrations, Justus Atuti KNOCKS OUT Omwenga in a single PUNCH

Joshua Omwenga: >>>Atuti, how justified are you to profile whole communities and condemn them to infamy.I have been taught by teachers from those communities, gone to school(up to university)and beyond with some of them, worked with some of them, some of our best athletes come from there, some good businessmen come from among them,we are married to some of them, they have married our daughters and so forth.Just tell me,how do you want us to hate everybody yet communities are interdependent and the mistakes, if any, were committed by a few people, if any. Madaraka day is a national holiday for the entire nation.I expect you to campaign for everybody’s inclusion in the ceremony without exception. Please enlighten me on your thinking.

Justus Atuti: >>>Foremost, I want to correct you. I am not fighting or serializing any single community wholesale. I am actually against impunity, corruption, unemployment, favoritism, arrogance and a failed delivery of election pledges. I am fighting Uhuru Kenyatta as well as William Ruto for lying to Kenyans and instead choosing to separate Kenyans on tribal lines. I am not fighting Kikuyus. I am not fighting Kalenjins. I am fighting those who have arrogantly been the reason why our youths don’t have jobs. If you have been following me closely, the thing I assume you have been doing, I fought Nyachae and his family shrewdly for using Omogusii to ride high with nothing for us to show for, the war I can assure you I won. Was this a war serializing the whole community of Mwanyagetinge where I belong? I have fought Evans Kidero before, as well as Dalmas Otieno and a number of Luo elites I need not mention. Was this a war staged against the Luo community? I have fought Eugene Wamalwa, Musalia Mudavadi, Ababu Namwamba, etc. I have taken my war to the doorsteps of individuals all across Kenya. Does this mean I am fighting my motherland, the nation where I proudly belong?
As a Kisii, I have been vocal on those who have used our youths to ride high, as the youths sag into desperado drunkenness. Does this mean I have fought my own community?

Back to Madaraka Day celebration that’s coming next week.

We are celebrating Madaraka Day with pending, unresolved issues. We are pretending to celebrate over nothing other than the unfortunate suffering of our people. Corruption has hit it’s highest. Insecurity is at an untenable level. Unemployment, inflation, poor Healthcare services, financial services, communication, the media ,education sector, poaching, robbery with violence, overtaxation, every sector, is in a complete total mess. What disturbs me most, and what encourages me to stage my war, even if I remain one man standing is, the same leaders who are meant to sanitize the situation are engulfed in chestthumbing, arrogance and are busy aligning their communities in the name of TYRANNY OF NUMBERS. How about us, those who are unfortunate to lack that tyranny of numbers? Why will we not nickname their behavior as TYRANNY OF STUPIDITY, INSANITY AND MADNESS? Do we have a nation here to be proud of? Do they have conscience that we have a nation to safeguard for our children to come? When Jubilee alighns, intoxicates and incites their entire communities to support even the obvious intentional theft, malicious damage of our nation, do you expect me to sit back and clap for them?

They are now congremerating in Nakuru with an arrogance, never seen before, as they unleash the police on innocent Kenyans. You expect me to serve myself with this cup and plate of stupidity, drink it and eat it as if all is well?
When they converge in Nakuru, what do you expect the segregated communities to do? Follow them? Dog them in the name of nationalism? HELL NO! We must come together as a people and find a solution out of this quagmire. And the only option is, to converge in Nairobi, at Uhuru Park and discuss our available options. How does this amount to breaking the law that Uhuru Kenyatta breaks at will as if we do not live in a nation with laws, as if we are guided by the law of the jungle? If converging as a people to find a focal point for our future amounts to disrespect to a national holiday and break of the law, so be it. If it is reason enough for Uhuru, Ruto, Nkaisery and that group to unleash the police on us, so be it. We will either respond in kind, or just cross the bridge when we are there. If this is breaking the law, then be it. After all, is it not our constitution? Did we give birth to this constitution in parliament that the son of Jomo keeps telling us about? NO. Our Constitution was born on the streets. Even the repeal of section 2 A that gave birth to multipartism was born and nurtured on the streets. This is the history Kenyans won’t set aside. With the street battles, TUMEZOEA. Some of these people don’t even know where we have come from because they were nowhere when we were on the streets to fight for what they are trying to take away from us.

And yes. I will not forget. I may be a single unit and insignificant. But any Kisii supporting Jubilee…IT IS A WAR STAGED ON THEM.

And I asked a question that you and those who reason the same level with you have avoided. Our independence has been here for over 50 years. The same people, the same community that have been subduing our people, the same people in there arrogance, are still around and going strong in our impoverishment. And now they have declared that the presidency is booked till 2032!. Are you kidding me? And our people are busy clapping at this nonesesne, as if Kenya belongs to them alone? Does this mean wengine tutaonea uraisi kwa mbali? Does it mean as a people we will sit back and watch the Kikuyus calling Luos stupid names for fighting the tyrants and we say it is ok? Have you ever asked yourself where we would be if there were no Raila Odinga who stands between them and us, and therefore shielding us permanently from them?

And now the reason why you feel I am serializing an entire community where you may have derived your teachers from, some of them your inlaws, and all that you can think of. I want to assure you that I am more inclined to the Kikuyu Community more than you. I have a history with them, perhaps more than you do. You may have a teacher_student relationship with them. I have a more deeply founded, emotional and family ties with them. Does this give me reason to support mediocrity? Does this mean I won’t say what is wrong? Does this mean I lose the right to a well managed nation, with a fair, honest and devoted leadership ? Does this make me lose the right to a sober nation? Does this mean that my relationship with them takes away my responsibility of fighting for a just society? If you think so, then you are wrong. This is the land where my future generation will live long after I am gone, reason why I will fight for it, tooth and crook….be it a tribal war, or individual wars. This is why I will support Kenyans to converge at Uhuru Park under CORD and those who want to converge in Nakuru, it is their choice. However, I am opposed to Ruto and Nkaisery threats. They add nothing. They are only hot air. If they make their threats true, then I will urge our people to set a side the so called PEACE and respond in kind. Who says we don’t know where guns are acquired from? Who says we fear war? WE WILL RESPOND IN KIND, IF PROVOKED….

HAVE I ANSWERED YOUR QUESTIONS AND THOSE OPPOSED TO ME, AND THOSE WHO CALL TO THREATEN ME, INCLUDING ONE MR KAMAU KURIA WHO SHOULD KEEP OFF MY PRIVATE INBOX AND PHONE AND THOSE WHO KEEP HARASSING ME HERE AND THERE? ANY DOUBTING THOMASES CAN STILL ASK A QUESTION. AND YES….NKAISERY, UHURU, RUTO, AND EVERYONE CAN SEE THIS.

JOshua Omwenga:>>> well answered.it is the president and his deputy you may be having a problem with.i also don’t support inequality n the other vices just like you but i don’t lose my cool and abuse anybody so easily.i will send some clips shortly(mugabe, before he became senile, mandela….)so that you read their attitude to their oppressors.

We are in Jubilee, Don’t ask me about Ford Kenya Party -CS Eugene Wamalwa tells Nairobi Luyha Leaders in

By Emmanuel Khisa

Water and Irrigation CS Hon Eugene Wamalwa will be mobilizing for Uhuru Kenyatta come 2017, the New Ford Kenya leader confirmed his party and entire membership will join Jubilee enmasse.

The move by Hon Wamalwa will definitely upset balance of power in Western Kenya, pushing former VP Musalia Mudavadi and CORD Principal Moses Wetangula between the rock and a hard place.

Hon Wamalwa was speaking at Sagret hotel where former Mathare MP aspirant Fwamba NC Fwamba hosted top Western Kenya opinion leaders for a goat eating Sunday afternoon. The gathering was more of caucus for the youthful Luyha leaders to chatting City politics. Despite their large numbers in the city Luyha have only one constituency (Westlands won by Tim Wanyonyi -ODM).

Fwamba NC Fwamba a former university of Nairobi student leader is rumoured to have been tagged by Jubilee leadership for Nairobi deputy governorship position- effectively Hon Dennis Waweru running-mate.

Among those in attendance were largely bi-partisan youthful leaders including Gatundu South Hon Moses Kuria, George Nyongesa (ODM Chair Dagoreti South Constituency ), Sande Oyolo (UDF Party National official), Hon Jackson Njue (Roysambu Constituency), NGO Cordination Board CEO Fazul Mahammed, ICPAK Manager Makokha Wanjala CPA, City Businessmen Edward King’ori and Geoffrey Muya, Kizito Temba, Collins Mukhongo, Ken Waliaula among other leaders.

The leaders present affirmed their support for Jubilee Party with the Water CS reiterating that he is going back to politics in 2017 and will be spotting HE Uhuru Kenyatta and DP Ruto’s caps (read Jubilee party). He called upon those asking him about NFK to desist since he had resigned as the NFK Party Leader after being appointed CS. The CS said that it was now clear that Jubilee will win 2017 elections and called upon those present to make sure Jubilee enjoys a margin of 70% + 1 against CORD.

Mr.Fwamba took the opportunity to thank the Jubilee Government for inclusivity, having employed so many youth. He urged the youth to continue supporting the Government since there are many opportunities when in government than out of Government.

Hon Kuria told those present that the time to take up leadership in Jubilee Party was now. He took the opportunity to tell the Luhyas present to take advantage of the personal friendship that CS Wamalwa enjoys with the president. He also used the opportunity to tell the congregation about the Leadership Factory Institute (LFI ), his personal initiative to engage the youth across the country about their role in leadership.

MADNESS: CS Nkaissery THREATENS to ARREST Raila on Madaraka Day, Promises Police BRUTALITY

Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has threatened to arrest Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leaders for apparent contravention of the law.

Speaking in Kajiado on Sunday, Nkaissery said that the government had given CORD leaders too much leeway, which has allegedly allowed them to engage in unlawful activities, and added that they will not tolerant the opposition’s open challenge to the government.

“We will not give CORD any more room to challenge the government of the day. We will rein in CORD leaders Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Senators James Orengo (Siaya) and Johnstone Muthama (Machakos) if they continue breaking the law,” he said.

He noted that CORD would not be allowed to hold parallel Madaraka Day celebrations at Uhuru Park on Wednesday, adding that only the president is allowed to preside over such events.

“CORD leader Raila Odinga is not the president and should therefore not take over functions that are a preserve of the Head of State,” he noted.

“Madaraka Day is a national holiday and therefore only the president is allowed to preside over such functions. By organizing a parallel rally at Uhuru Park, CORD is contravening the law and we will not allow them to do that,” he warned.

The Interior CS asserted that there had been minimal use of force in the thwarting of CORD’s protests against IEBC, adding that the police will not hesitate to employ maximum force to prevent any further contravention of the law.

Nkaissery’s remarks come amid a growing tussle between CORD, the police and Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries over who owns the rights to use Uhuru Park on Wednesday.

BREAKING: ODM’s Hon Memusi CONFRONTS CS Nkaiserry over THREATS to ARREST Raila on Madaraka Day

There was drama at ACK Immanuel Church in Kajiado township when two area leaders differed openly and exchanged harsh words before a congregation. Interior CS Joseph Nkaiserry in his address to the congregation threatened to arrest CORD leaders Rt Hon Raila, H.E Kalonzo, Hon Wetangula and Hon Muthama if the continue challenging the government.

Nkaiserry asked PM Raila to stop the parallel rally that is holding during the National day (Madaraka Day) saying Raila is not the president of this country.

In a quick re-joinder area MP Hon Elijah Memusi Kanchory warned Nkassery of taking the country backward to the old dark KANU days. He told Nkaissery off saying Kenyans have a right to chose how to celebrate Madaraka day and they are free to decide what to do.

Hon Memusi also demanded resignation of IEBC commissioners saying they were corrupt and biased.

CS Nkaisery accused CORD supporters of looting in the name of demonstrations and said the Police have not yet used excessive but instead have only used minimum force and soon will use maximum force.

HERE is the AMAZING Letter USA President WROTE to a Teacher of his Son- MUST READ!

To the beloved Teacher!

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th POTUS, wrote this letter to his son’s teacher when his son joined school. I am mostly interested in this, “Teach him that…it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat…”

“ My son starts school today. It is all going to be strange and new to him for a while and I wish you would treat him gently. It is an adventure that might take him across continents. All adventures that probably include wars, tragedy and sorrow. To live this life will require faith, love and courage.

So dear Teacher, will you please take him by his hand and teach him things he will have to know, teaching him – but gently, if you can, Teach him that for every enemy, there is a friend. He will have to know that all men are not just, that all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero, that for every crooked politician, there is a dedicated leader.

Teach him if you can that 10 cents earned is of far more value than a dollar found . In school, teacher, it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat. Teach him to learn how to gracefully lose, and enjoy winning when he does win.

Teach him to be gentle with people, tough with tough people. Steer him away from envy if you can and teach him the secret of quiet laughter. Teach him if you can – how to laugh when he is sad , teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him there can be glory in failure and despair in success. Teach him to scoff at cynics.

Teach him if you can the wonders of books, but also give time to ponder the extreme mystery of birds in the sky , bees in the sun and flowers on a green hill . Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if every one tell him they are wrong.

Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone else is doing it. Teach him to listen to every one, but teach him also to filter all that he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through.

Teach him to sell his talents and brains to the highest bidder but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul. Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will always have sublime faith in mankind, in God.
This is a tall order, teacher, but see what best you can do. He is such a nice little boy; he is my son.

From your beloved parent….

After SEX SCANDAL at Kiss FM Whatsapp LEAK, Caroline Mutoko is CONFRONTED by Maggie for PROMOTING Clande Mentality

Caroline Mutoko Confronted, I Think Maggie is right.>> Read and tell us what you think.

BY MAGGIE MARIKAH
I am a woman but I will not jump to condemn Jicho Pevu. Just the other day in Kenya, a father stood in a court of law to testify that his daughter Careen took several loans from family and friend, even stole, to support a purported Clande – “Louis Otieno.” Jicho Pevu’s job is to tell the story and not rewrite it or photoshop it to accomodate your feelings. Journalists have sources and they have a right to protect them.

Before we ask the Pope to come and beatify Cheryl Kitonga for her one night stand with Jacob Juma before he died, let us address the issue of the social acceptance of Clandes (read mpango wa kando) in Kenya.
Jicho Pevu did more to save future women from Clande mentality than many people condemning him will ever do, and especially Carol Mutoko, who says that is what the 20’s are there for. So according to Carol, the 20s are there for sleeping around with strange married men???

Okay… Nothing brings more dignity to women than telling them it’s okay to exploit their sexual desires and fantasies as long as you are in the twenties.. Married men.. Sure indulge.. One night stand.. Bring it on.. Clandes..Ni ya leo.. Bei ni ya jioni..

A lot worse could have happened to this lady. She is lucky she did not end up as collateral damage. But who cares that she is a person of interest or suspect in a murder as long as she had fun? That is what the 20s are there for.. Right??.

Stop sugar coating the truth. Choices have consequences for both Jacob Juma and Cheryl Kitonga. Call it Clande mentality, call it prostitution.. Call it whatever you like, but until we can address the root cause of why this woman is in the predicament she is in, this may not be the last case that appears on our media screen.

Put efforts where it matters.. By the time you are asking for Cheryl Kitongas face to be concealed, you have lost the fight on women dignity. Stop the next Cheryl from being taken advantage of by a so called sponsor.

Stop the next Cheryl from being a rich man’s play toy. Stop the next Cheryl Kitonga from a sponsor mentality. And telling them that is what the 20s are there for is not helping them either.

Just because you made mistakes in your 20s is no reason for every other 20 year old to follow in your footsteps. My desire is that the mistakes I made in my early years will not be the mistakes of my fellow sisters because when you know better, you do better. Stop the next Cheryl Kitonga, covering the face does little or nothing for her.

Was Carol Mutoko the woman alleged to be with Mutula Kilonzo at time of death????

Raila CONFIRMS He Will Lead Parallel Madaraka Day Celebrations at Uhuru Park on Wednesday 1st June

Cord leader Raila Odinga has said planned parallel Madaraka Day celebrations at Uhuru Park will go on as scheduled Wednesday June 1.

This is despite pointers from police that the venue has already been booked for prayers by a church.

Speaking in Mombasa on Saturday during Governor’s Award Program hosted by county boss Hassan Joho, Raila said they will not be intimidated by police.

“We will go to Uhuru Park whether they like it or not,” Raila said.

The police, in a letter signed by Joseph Nasio on behalf of county commander Japheth Koome, declined Kanu’s request to use the venue on grounds that it had been booked for three days including June 1.

Kanu and Cord have been coalescing lately pointing to a likelihood that they will hold joint meetings at the grounds.

Raila on Saturday said the Jubilee government cannot lead the country with brutal force and likened them to warthogs in one of his famous parables.

“A warthog forgets every time. They have forgotten that the Nyayo regime tried this and failed. Jubilee will also fail,” the ODM party leader said.

He was referring to the use of force by police to silence Cord supporters.

PHOTOS: Uhuru in Kiambu, connects ELECTRICITY to the MOST POOR, Elimination of JIGGERS may be NEXT

By Hon J B

The move by the government to ensure every household has electricity is commendable and must be hastened. I’d like to see this program benefit every household in my village in Nyatike. I also support people in authority mingling freely with the underprivileged in the society as the President is doing. This doesn’t amount to celebrating poverty or mocking the poor.

It’s only through such interactions that those in authority get to understand, deeply, the sufferings the people they lead undergo out of the comfort of their lavish offices in Nairobi and palatial homes in Runda, Karen or Muthaiga. Of course better policies ought to be put in place to elevate people from poverty by expanding opportunities and creating employment so that people can build for themselves decent housing that do not dehumanize them.

Scanad CEO Thakrar Moves to Help restore Image of Safaricom after KPMG Forensic Audit Report LEAK

Bharat Thakrar, the unassuming group CEO of ScanGroup is often referred to in glowing terms by the media in Kenya and much of sub-Saharan Africa. This is understandable; he heads Africa’s largest marketing and communication firm operating a multi-agency model across multiple disciplines in Sub-Saharan Africa, and through his companies, he provides media houses a substantial business in the form of advertisements from his blue chip clients.

However, the recently leaked KPMG forensic audit report on Safaricom Ltd has negatively exposed Thakra and lifted the lid on a ruthless tycoon who allegedly exploited Kenya’s corrupted politics and courts, a billionaire bully who has allegedly manipulated leading companies at the Nairobi Stock Exchange to get undeserved contracts and a conniving businessman who stopped at nothing to defeat competitors and partners alike.

Being a bosom buddy to the CEO of Safaricom has ensured Scanad and Thakrar received a constant flow of highly lucrative contracts that latest being a tender with a monthly retainer of Kshs 18,600,000. Bob Collymore awarded a one year contract that has since expired but KPMG noted that they are still operating after contract expiry with no tender. This is basis on which Scanad was paid a staggering Ksh1.2 billion by Safaricom.

With the escalating KPMG scandal, whose recommendations the Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore is secretly implementing, the Thakrar-Collymore occultic axis has has been dubbed the evil axis.

As Bob Colymore ‘loads’the country using Safaricom, the PR spin doctoring team is allegedly led by Bharat Thakrar and his former employee Nick Wachira who is now a hired mercenary at Oxygen Media.

Bharat an alleged well known occultic businessman, is a man of strange moral and spiritual standings. As part of its policy, Scanad is known to coerce individuals and clients into surrendering their rights by evoking dark forces.

Several sponsored articles in mainstream (The Nation, The Star, leading blogs etc)are being chunned out the cleanse Bob Collymore….

POLL: Senator Mike Sonko FLOORED Kidero, Hon Waweru, Bishop Wanjiru, Sakaja, Miguna in Nairobi Governor race poll

One of the most hotly contested seats in the country come 2017 will most likely be Nairobi County governorship. Even with the elections being more than one year away, there are already five people who have expressed interest in the seat, with four of them being viewed as serious candidates. Mike Sonko, the popular Nairobi Senator who loves populist politics, is a favorite of most voters.

Sonko is especially popular with people from low income areas who fortunately for the controversial senator happen to be the majority in Nairobi County. An additional advantage that comes with being popular among these people is that they actually show up at the polling stations and vote as opposed to those from the leafy suburbs such as Karen and Runda who rarely vote.

This poll conducted between 25th and 27th May 2016 found that 37% of Nairobians would vote for Mike Sonko as their next governor while 24% would support Evans Kidero for a second term. The current MP for Dagoretti, Mr. Dennis Waweru got 13% support while Johnson Sakaja, a former member of Vijana na Kibaki and TNA chairman got 7%. Fwamba N.C Fwamba whose candidature was dismissed by most of the respondents as “non-serious” got only 0.5% support.

The belligerent Miguna Miguna who served as Raila Odinga’s advisor till he fell out with the former Prime Minister got 1.5% support. Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who lost the senatorial race to Sonko by a wide margin in 2013 got 8%. CAP found that 9% of Nairobians remain undecided.

Senator Mike Sonko is currently leading in the Nairobi County gubernatorial race by double digits

Sakaja and Waweru have invested heavily in billboards in some strategic locations around the city, but this has not earned them any reasonable support. Mike Sonko who has not shown enthusiasm in the race seems to be wildly popular even as some elites dismiss him as “thuggish,” and “unqualified.” Such dismissal will ultimately mean nothing since elites who last time backed Evans Kidero will find it difficult selling another elite candidate given Kidero’s ethics problem and poor performance.

The sitting governor is currently battling a serious ethics-related case where he is accused of having bribed Supreme Court Justice Philip Tonui with kshs. 200 million to ward off an election petition challenge from Ferdinand Waititu who lost to Kidero by a small margin. The Justice has since been suspended. The bribery scandal seems to have damaged Kidero’s image even among his elite staunch supporter. Voters with roots from Western Kenya also express anger over his poor management of Mumias Sugar, a company he drove to the woods before being elected governor. A media that is shallow and subjective got excited when he vied and marketed him as a better alternative to Waititu who was viewed as “too street” but most voters now feel Waititu would have fared much better as governor.

Kidero’s record does not make his climb any easier with the recent heavy rains having exposed the outdated sewerage system, 15th century drainage, a highly disorganized transport industry, an extremely corrupt county workforce, and a tone-deaf response unit that cannot respond on a timely manner in moments of disaster.

When our pollsters asked voters whether they were concerned with Mike Sonko’s ethics problems, they said they have not heard of any issue other than allegations from his political “detractors.” Voters seem to mind when leaders embezzle money meant for development programs. “Whether one makes his or her money from drugs I do not care,” Simon Gecaga argued. “I care a lot when a leader steals the taxpayers’ money the way Kidero’s administration is doing,” he added. Some people have argued that Sonko would be part of a drug cartel but as Mr. Gecaga stated in his statement above, he does not care about that so long as the taxpayers’ money is not embezzled. Sonko’s stunts such as the Sonko Rescue Team, an independent disaster response team, and the senator’s pompous personality as well as spontaneous generosity were repeatedly cited as part of his broad appeal. It gets better for the senator given the voters’ feeling that he is not pretending but “being himself.”

Sakaja was turned down by many of the respondents who viewed him as “naïve” and “not ready” to deal with Nairobi’s problems. Others view him as an extension of the President and the Deputy President, thereby expressing the view that he is not his own man who can tackle Nairobi’s challenges. He is also viewed by some as quite opportunistic given his decision to leap into the public limelight only recently after spending his time as a TNA operative who has arm-wrestled rivals in the jostling for political party millions. Waweru is viewed as an “entitlement” candidate who expects to harvest the Central Kenya-extended vote given the relatively sizeable number of Kikuyus in the city, and for this reason, many of those who participated in this poll felt he does not deserve this seat. He was dismissed by some youthful participants as “someone suffering from the Mugabe Syndrome,” apparently referring to Mugabe’s feeling that since he led the Zimbabwe liberation struggle, he is entitled to the presidency. Dagoretti voters were particularly bitter and angry, terming him as corrupt and pretentious. “This guy has begun showing up here because the election is around the corner,” one respondent from Dagoretti said. “We cannot wait to replace him with KJ,” a driver from Waweru’s constituency said. KJ is the popular comedian who has vied in Dagoretti before

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru got support from 8% of those who participated with most respondents expressing intense dislike for her.
CAP sampled 2,400 registered voters selected from all the constituencies in Nairobi County. The margin of error is 2.7%. Below is a full breakdown of the poll.
Mike Sonko ……………………….…………….37%
Evans Kidero …………………………………..24%
Dennis Waweru………………………………13%
Margaret Wanjiru………………………….. 8%
Johnson Sakaja………………………………..7%
Miguna Miguna …………………………….1.5%
Fwamba N.C. Fwamba…………………… 0.5%
Undecided………………………………………..9%
Support among Women
Mike Sonko ……………………….…………….51%
Evans Kidero …………………………………..15%
Dennis Waweru………………………………11%
Margaret Wanjiru………………………………4%
Johnson Sakaja………………………………..13%
Miguna Miguna …………………………….1%
Fwamba N.C. Fwamba…………………… 1%
Undecided………………………………………..4%
Support among Men
Mike Sonko ……………………….…………….41%
Evans Kidero …………………………………..22%
Dennis Waweru………………………………16%
Margaret Wanjiru………………………………3%
Johnson Sakaja………………………………..10%
Miguna Miguna …………………………….2%
Fwamba N.C. Fwamba…………………… 1%
Undecided………………………………………..5%

Miguna Miguna managed only 1.5% of the vote. However, his few supporters strongly admire him, stating that they are willing to lose with him. The poll also found that more women, 51% favor Sonko, while Kidero got only 15% of the female support. Only 1% of women supported Miguna Miguna, arguing that he is abusive and verbally violent. Kidero’s low support among women can be attributed to his slapping of the Nairobi Women Representative Rachel Shebesh, a rather shameful act he committed earlier in his leadership. Sonko also led among men with 41%. Though not shown in this poll, Sonko is also wildly popular among those below 35 years where he polled at 64%. Dennis Waweru is second in this group with 15% and Sakaja is third with 12%.

Political elites opposed to Mike Sonko’s candidature have fronted various theories to pour cold water on his bid such as the possibility that Kikuyus who may have supported him in his 2013 senatorial race will this time switch due to the presence of a Kikuyu candidate, in this case, Dennis Waweru. However, it is vital to note that in 2013, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, a Kikuyu, was in the senatorial race where she garnered 525,000 votes to Sonko’s 808,000. Therefore, it is not entirely honest to argue that Sonko got such a huge number of votes due to the absence of a Kikuyu candidate. Indeed, if such an argument were true, Sonko’s support in this poll would not be as high as it stands, something that has remained stable for a while now.

Another factor that might play a role is party affiliation, but again in some elections, people vote personalities and not parties. Sonko vying as a Jubilee candidate will definitely be a plus but those who expressed support for him were ready to vote for him from any party. Jubilee operatives must be aware that it will be a grave mistake to hand the gubernatorial ticket to anyone other than Sonko, given the massive support he can bring to the party for the president. While will also get some advantage if he gets the Jubilee ticket, but he is a “difficult candidate” as some voters stated, arguing that, “he does not connect with them, and pretends to be listening for political advantage.”
There is every indication that eventually, this race may narrow down to Kidero against Sonko, a race that will be interesting to watch. With the elites and media having been shamed, embarrassed, and let down by Kidero, it is a matter of ‘wait and see’ who’s feet they will drop their lots.

BREAKING SAD: Police Shoot DEAD a school in Migori

By Chris via Facebook
A school girl from Ulanda Girls attending regional ball games at Migori Boys has been shot dead by the police who were pursing an inmate who had escaped from the Migori Prisons and entered the school compound. A police officer shot at the crowd after the inmate hid it it, killing the innocent girl instantly.

There appears to be instructions from above for the police stationed within Nyanza to misuse their firearms on residents, and fire live bullets at anyone anywhere. Who will stop this increasing police impunity? This is a very unfortunate incident, the responsible police officer MUST be brought to book forthwith!!!!

HOW Female Kenyan in USA INSTIGATED deportation of 1 minute-man DJ CREME

Beauttah Okech,

The Jubilee/ Cord rivalries got a notch higher as one lady alleged to be Kamba in Dallas, reported DJ Clemo also known as George Njuguna to the US immigration authorities. DJ Creme had indicated his purpose of visiting US as tourism during the Memorial day weekend, but it turned out that CORD supporters in Dallas annoyed with the Kikuyu heavy performance lineup at a TNA function in Dallas, handed the fliers to the immigration authorities, who pounced on Njuguna a.k.a as soon as he landed at the DFW Airport.

Cord supporters blew the whistle, since they don’t like ukora. DJ Creme was on a tourist visa, but wanted to make quick buk in the US. Thats thievery, corruption, unacceptable. Nai-robbery brought to Dallas, TX.

DJ Creme is known to famous for notoriously leaking a video of him making sweet love to some bitch on social media. However most CORD supporters, who especially Kamba women supporters of Kalonzo Musyoka did not approve of DJ Creme’s struggle to take the woman to cloud 9. Creme resorted to using his middle finger to give the woman some satisfaction after his own KushMakali shrunk at the height of the action.

As I write this, DJ Creme is air-bound headed back to Nairobi. DJ Creme is rumored to have bragged how he was going to hopefully impress some American chick with his scratches, and hopefully be on the path to American Citizenship, before Trump erects The wall.

This deportation will certainly earn DJ Creme a guaranteed place as the biggest loser celebrity in Kenya in 2016. Even before he lands, this news item has gone viral. Meanwhile Cordeshians can sit back, smile, GEMA greed has been nipped at its buds! Mollis Nimeshoka, wins anytime! Mt Kenya defeated! They may run Kenya, but we run the US. Free advice TNA, keep your chicken gate scandals in Nairobi. Here in the US, we are ready to work with the Luo-lead government!

CIRCUS: Uhuru says he is Ready for DIALOGUE but through Parliament- CORD back to Drawing BOARD

President Uhuru Kenyatta has said he is ready for dialogue with the Opposition over the polls body, but maintained that he can only do so within the confines of the law.

He told business leaders that his personal presentation to the engagements, and which he would present like any other citizen, was ready. “I myself have prepared my own position which I am ready to present to them,” Mr Kenyatta said in a meeting with members of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (Kepsa) in a round-table meeting yesterday afternoon.

He added that he was not ready for any embarrassment that would arise if he were to ask the commissioners of the Independent Electrical and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to leave office, then the directive is challenged in court.

“I am not going to ask anyone to leave office then I am embarrassed tomorrow,” said the President, who also responded to an unnamed envoy’s request that he listens to the Opposition leaders, including Raila Odinga.

Mr Kenyatta told the diplomat that there was no need to plead with him (the President) to listen to anyone, as it was his responsibility and duty to accommodate all his values.

It is back to the drawing board for CORD as Uhuru’s comments are not in good faith, by saying he is willing to negotiate within legal means the president is basically telling CORD to talk to Duale. This is a joke!

BREAKING: CORD Secretariat PUTS to SHAME Jubilee die-hard KNCH Boss Ms Kagwiria Mbogori

PRESS STATEMENT

26TH May 2016

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The attention of the coalition has been drawn to the statement issued by the Kenya national commission on human rights titled ‘DO NOT CONFUSE KENYANS: ANARCHY IS NOT DEMOCRACY’ and signed by the Chairperson of the commission Ms. Kagwiria Mbogori.

The statement condemns the CORD coalition for staging ‘street protests and demonstrations’ which in the view of the KNCHR are not a prescribed procedure of engagement in the matter that CORD is protesting about. Interestingly the statement then proceeds to recognize and refer to the constitutional “right to assemble, to demonstrate, picket and present petitions to the public authorities” and adds that it’s a right that can only be exercises when peaceful and unarmed. That the engagement in violence while exercising this right negates it. The statement then ends by putting political actors on notice not to confuse Kenyans and proceeds to state that anarchy is not democracy.

We wish to state that the KNCHR has without doubt cast aside its constitutional mandate and resorted to political propaganda and falsehoods for reasons well known to them. It is instructive to note that the statement was unilaterally authored by the chairperson without the concurrence of the other commissioners.

In its greatest heist of ignorance and selective amnesia, KNCHR falsely asserts that CORD has failed to petition the National Assembly on the removal of IEBC commissioners. To the contrary, CORD did present a petition to parliament on 28/04/2014 which petition was arbitrarily and without logical consideration dismissed by the Justice and Legal affairs committee.

It is clear that this statement is intended to undermine the citizens right to demonstrate on issues concerning them and hopefully to silence those engaging in their democratic right to demonstrate. It is also clear that the KNCHR, without any evidence whatsoever has decided to attribute and blame the violence that peaceful demonstrators have encountered to the same demonstrators. It is indeed curious that KNCHR does not in any way refer to the widely condemned violence by the police that includes fatal injury and maiming of many innocent Kenyans.

Has the KNCHR, an independent constitutional commission funded by tax payers to defend and oversee the protection of human rights become one of the agents of violations of these rights in Kenya? Has the commission now decided to play partisan politics using public resources? We demand that the KNCHR accounts for its statement and the assumptions made therein.

Has commission done its investigations to determine that the violence that has been going on was planned and instigated by the CORD demonstrators?

Has commission investigated the role of the police in the violence relating to these demonstrations?

What has the commission done to hold the IEBC accountable to putting in place the framework to address all the anomalies associated with the 2013 elections including the tampering with registers, the facilitation of the right to vote and the tampering with the BVR equipment? Has the KNCHR even bothered to issue any statement on the human rights perspectives on these matters? Was KNCHR in this country when the Smith and Ouzman directors were convicted of the crime of offering bribes to the Kenyan electoral body officials including the chairman of the IEBC? Did the commission pronounce itself on the need for all those who were mentioned to step aside to facilitate investigations before they continue serving in office? Is that not a matter of good governance that is purportedly part of the commission’s mandate?

While busy issuing these obnoxious statements, KNCHR is clearly abdicating its constitutional mandate as set out under Art.59. KNCHR continues to maintain ignominious silence in the face of police brutality against innocent protesters choosing instead to engage in academic lectures on processes and rumor mongering that have absolutely nothing to do with their mandate.

The commission is clearly out of depth as far as its core mandate is concerned. The foundational principles of our constitution embody proper mechanisms that justify the use of demonstrations as an exercise of sovereignty. It is shocking that the very commission that is vested with the mandate to safeguard and facilitate the enjoyment of rights is busy erecting claw backs using flimsy political excuses nicely coated in empty legal jingoism.

Indeed, within a system which denies the existence of basic human rights, fear tends to be the order of the day. We wish to remind KNCHR that the most insidious form of fear is that which masquerades as common sense or even wisdom, condemning as foolish, reckless, insignificant or futile the small, daily acts of courage which help to preserve man’s self-respect and inherent human dignity. One cannot fail to notice the inconsistency of those rejecting human rights (KNCHR): their rejection takes place in the public square created by human rights. It is difficult to reject human rights without using them.

KNCHR is beckoning us to see the world through a one-way mirror; however we remain aware of the fact that human rights were not handed down as privileges from a parliament, or a boardroom, or an institution.

Lost rights are never regained by appeals to the conscience of the usurpers. As a coalition, we remain steadfast in our quest to eject IEBC from office through a peaceful exercise of our rights.

WHY CORD’s TACTICAL Retreat from Weekly Anti-IEBC PROTESTS is Christmas for Jubilee

CORD’S TACTICAL MESSAGING FAUX PAS

By Jackson Omondi

It’s hard enough to rally beleaguered troops around a cause, but to suddenly order a gelling team to stand down midstream is a political messaging blunder that may take a miracle to revive.

The IEBC protesters were within striking distance, the county surrogates were in sync with the national apparatus, the reform crusaders were on message and the government was on the verge of giving in to pressure.

And then the drivers, inexplicably, stepped on the breaks much to the chagrin of those who bore the brunt of the state machinery! The government, in a desperate move, resorted to killing and beating the socks out of everyone in sight. And when that didn’t work, they went Hollywood on Kenyans by parading supposedly “battered” cops in full view of the press.

The fact that a presidential communique was disseminated with the ‘C-word’ (coupe’)in it, is a clear indication that the government was in panic mode. How on earth can a government that proudly saturates all law enforcement units and the country’s defense forces with one tribe be so scared of a coalition led by individuals whose security details are at its beck and call?

It’s also a matter of public knowledge that CORD leaders, repeatedly contend with withdrawal of security detail assigned to them. It’s therefore hard to fathom that a coalition thus beleaguered, is capable of pulling off a coupe d’etat.

This simply means that the government’s political operatives had no answer to what they were confronting on a weekly basis and decided to mine a good old strategy of engaging in ethnic-bating.

They knew that their supporters largely come from one community and if they talked about an alleged coupe, guess which community will feel threatened and buy into the notion that ‘their’ government is about to be overthrown and then to a man, rally behind it?

The initial GEMA business outfit initiative that weighed in on the protests fell flat because it appeared deliberate and overtly tribal. Talking about a potential coupe’ ostensibly puts the ‘government’ at risk and gets instant sympathy from its supporters.

And that is why the order to cancel the protests was a major blunder. You don’t have to be Einstein to predict the outcome of the so called dialogue because Jubilee has never attempted to talk to CORD about any issue. There is simply no precedent to go by. At least Moi allowed dialogue and IPPG was born. Kibaki, on occasion, allowed dialogue on some issues of national significance. Jubilee has always used the belaboured tyranny of numbers as a political scarecrow and they are not about to ‘fix’ what they deem to be perfectly functional.

By stopping the protests a few strides away from crescendo, CORD has given Jubilee much needed relief and more time to plot more political manoeuvres aimed at ducking real reforms.

And it came at a hefty price by way of human lives, crippling injuries and a demoralized rank and file who will need divine intervention to even think about reigniting the lost mojo. Need proof? Just log on to Facebook.

BREAKING: High Court Judges DECLARES Uhuru POWERLESS in Appointing Chief Justice

The High Court has declared an amendment seeking to give the president an upper hand in deciding country’s next CJ null and void .

The declaration limits President Uhuru Kenyatta’s power to appoint the CJ as provided by the constitution.

The amendment sought to change the Judicial Service Act to compel JSC to forward three names to the president, instead of one as previously required.

But the effect of the ruling by five-judge bench is that Judiciary Service Commission will only submit a single candidate each for appointment to the position of Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice .

This comes after LSK sought to challenge the decision to give the president power for the appointment.

Lawyers opposed the move saying it goes against the constitution and amounts to interference with the independence of the judiciary.

Making the ruling on Thursday, the judges noted that in passing the new law, Parliament contravened the constitution and gave the president powers he did not have through back doors.

The judges include Richard Mwongo, Joseph Onguto, Mumbi Ngugi, George Odunga, Weldon Korir, and Isaac Lenaola.
