Dear BEN MULWA, SONKO Is Not Your Equal, Take Your Childish Behavior To Kilimani Mums

Dear young man,

Our attention has been drawn to your today’s grandstanding article which you hurled all sorts of body shaming regrettable remarks at Nairobi H.E. Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko. We were profoundly shocked that you foolishly closed your eyes to decorum and committed intellectual travesty. You childishly elected to glorify intolerance, bigotry and immorality to fester your insensitive sense of judgement. You seem like a man in search of his true identity.

At least you succeeding in exciting your Facebook fans.

We know well that our governor’s unalloyed intention for a better Nairobi was long put to test by his haters like yourself and he has proved you wrong. It is an open secret that you are among the jackals and hyenas that surrounded the governor to pillory the great people of Nairobi and steal their commonwealth. Thank God the governor was too wise for your devilish scheme. He detected you right on time and acted steadfastly. It is fair to say that the governor wouldn’t have succeeded if he continued to surround himself with selfish, cross-carpeters and counter-carpeters like yourself.

You accused our governor of a number of things and we want to tell you that very soon, we shall respond comprehensively. We shall unmask your evil did here in this space because this is where you started this war. It seems you have exhausted the 5million you stole from City Hall.

I have a feeling you have chewed the millions you extorted from that Brazilian MP and resorted to look for ways to extort money from the governor. This time you are wrong my friend. Pambana na hali yako na uwache ‘ubumbafu’.

Boss, why are you blaming bloggers on you self-inflicted injuries? Just a piece of advise you young man, Governor Sonko is not in the same league as you. They say if you can’t beat them, join them but you can’t join Governor Sonko now. Therefore, please wake up to reality, re-mobilize yourself, get your acts together, go out and work hard like other young men and earn a genuine living to sustain your young family.

Boss, I want to tell you that the words which were directed to Jowi by justice Wakiaga suit you the most. Boss, do you sometimes look at the things you do on social media? Displaying photos of yourself everyday like a Slay Queen trying to seek attention of your fellow men? No man does that. Shame on you. You are a disgrace to the Kamba community. If you’re looking for a playmate to wrestle, please try someone else, not governor Sonko. He is a very busy man and has no time to waste on you. The people of Nairobi need him more than your foolishness.

Mr. Ben Mulwa, in this life, the efforts of man to attain self-actualization, a man struggles with worthlessness of life. In that struggle, it should not escape your conscience that life is void, void is life in itself; and life is saturated with nothingness. So my friend, the man-alive with wisdom will understand the futility of life and what it encompasses! Be reminded that beings are daily romanticized and entangled with the nothingness of life but you must fight no matter what.

So, boss, kindly and try and manage your life in peace without dragging the good name of our governor. Never shy away from owning your mistakes in order to correct them. Always epitomize the dignity and respect that a man should command.

Long story short, this time we are lenient but next time we’ll wash your entire dirty linen in public. Please keep off our governor.

Yours,

Concerned Nairobian.

Jacque Maribe Still Custody, officials delay to sign docs, Itumbi Stages Protests In Court

Dennis Itumbi has staged a drama at Milimani law courts protesting delay of release of his friend and ‘sister’ Jacque Maribe. He says officials from the court registrar and ODPP were taking individuals processing Maribe’s documents to facilitate release round circles.

Maribe’s defense team concluded their assignment and the work of processing her release is now left to her family and friends as her lawyers move to another assignment.

Basically what Itumbi and co are experiencing is the standard procedure, same as wht the former Youth Affairs PS Lilian Mbogo Omolo went through despite her alleged relations with the Kenyattas in the Kenyan diaspora.

Well, the impatience of Itumbi and Maribe is understandable; it’s been a month since she was taken to custody custody!!

BREAKING: CLEAVAGE Competition On Zack OPONDO Facebook Page Under Fire

Wakili JV O says>> My attention has been brought to the happenings in the form of challenges on the page of one Zack OPONDO in which women, majorly, have been made to among other things show off their dresses, breasts et al for paltry amounts ranging from 10,000 to 20,000.

While I am no morality police and wouldn’t want to appear as one, I must say that people like Zack OPONDO and his supporters are the part of the problem we have as a society and as the Luo Nation in particular. He is no different from the fake professor.

Why would women be made to compete in “cleavage-flaunting” for example? Have we sunk so low as a people? It is unacceptable!

An offence should be sought and legal action taken against him and the followers. Criminal charges for indecent exposure.

Jesus may not be able to handle this. God should return in person.

Piny omer!

Cmd Diks says>>>

As a father of a daughter I’m totally appalled by the open body prostitution I’ve woken up to here online. Happening at a time Luo Nyanza and the country as a whole is grappling with a new prevalence of HIV/AIDS infections, this objectification is utterly disgusting.

Practices that sexualize conditions of women only expose them to potential diseases. If a woman can lower herself to show off a part of her breasts on a public wall for financial gain, imagine if that challenge goes to the inbox?

Shame on all of you enjoying this bullshit. And shame on all those women who’ve participated, including that HIV/AIDS activist.

Her attempts to romanticize HIV and normalize it is a con job, and for that she’s nothing but a con woman! Let’s bring back some dignity on these spaces.

As for the founder of this campaign, there is no big difference between you and Obado. You are driving these women to Kodera Forest and you know it.

CS Kiunjuri moves To ‘Kill’ DP Ruto, confirms Maize imported by Cartels is Poisonous

ays 60% of maize in NCPB stores unfit for human consumption
Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri now says that more than half of the maize stored in the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) silos is unfit for human consumption.

Hon Kiunjuri accused allies of DP Ruto for importing expired maize that was set to be destroyed in countries of origin. The importation of maize was illegal and now revelation that the maize is bad for human consumption is a big insult to Kenyans especially the maize farmers in North Rift.

Appearing before the National Assembly Committee on Agriculture on Wednesday, Mr. Kiunjuri wondered how the maize got bad yet it has been in the storage facilities for less than a year.

“For maize that was brought in a year ago, it’s not right that it’s being declared unfit for human consumption. Yet maize shelf life if well kept is 24 months,” said Kiunjuri.

He told the committee that four million bags of maize were illegally imported into the country in 2017.

Kiunjuri said a total of 10 million bags were imported into the country yet the government had gazetted the importation of 6 million bags.

The CS further told the committee that the government is caught between a rock and a hard place on what to do with the maize which has already cost taxpayers Ksh.9 billion that went to pockets of cartels associated with DP Ruto

“There is an argument between the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) and NCPB on what should happen to the maize that is deemed unfit for human consumption,” said Kiunjuri.

“If the maize came in October last year, its very worrying that we could get a destruction order for even 50% of the maize. This means I have to get a big broom and sweep NCPB.”

Kiunjuri’s revelations is a shocker to millions of Kenyans who have witnessed the drama surrounding NCPB and Rift Valley Leaders.

Uhuru Must Retire in 2022, He Is Too Bad for Executive PM Position, Too Bad for the Economy

By E Njega

Too bad to rule; too young to retire. What a country!

Can’t believe we are debating about Uhuru extending his term in any shape or form. These are debates for failed states. Uhuru can only salvage his legacy by resigning at the earliest opportunity and allowing another person try his hand in changing the fortunes of this country. Decent leaders resign when it is plain clear they can no longer deliver.

“The amount Kenya spent on debt repayments more than doubled in the first quarter of this financial year compared with the same period in 2017, highlighting the increasing burden on the taxpayer.

The Treasury released Sh153 billion to settle the country’s loan in the period between July and September compared with only Sh75.3 billion in the same period last year, data published by National Treasury last week shows.

By comparison, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) only managed to grow tax collection by 3.7 percent over the period, from Sh317.4 billion to Sh329 billion in the first quarter of this financial year.

That means debt repayment alone consumed 46.5 percent of taxes that KRA collected in the first quarter of 2018/19, adding to a pile of recurrent expenses that have stifled development over the years.” Business Daily

Every time President Uhuru Kenyatta is interviewed about our public debt issue he always says he would only have a problem if the debt is going into recurrent spending.

For a fact part of our debt has gone into recurrent spending. Besides the part going into development spending has gone into politically correct economically unproductive projects. Furthermore, most of the borrowed money has been stolen by people many who are still in government.

Five years after we borrowed the first eurobond, we cannot even afford a shilling to repay it. We are now going to issue a third eurobond to finance the repayment.

If the borrowed money was well utilised how come it cannot finance its own repayment?

Raila promised Uhuru PM Post, DP Ruto will offer Uhuru to be ‘AU Representative for Trade

Popular and honest Murang’a Senator Hon Irungu Kang’ata has become the highest-ranking Jubilee politician to confirm that former prime minister Raila Odinga has offered to make Uhuru Kenyatta an executive prime minister after his terms ends in 2022.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday night, Hon Kang’ata confirmed allies of ODM Leader Raila Odinga had offered President Uhuru Kenyatta the position of Prime Minister when he leaves the Presidency in 2022.

Hon Kangata challenged Deputy President William Ruto to respond to the offer, saying the Mt Kenya region would not offer its votes without getting something in return.

“For the record, I do support William Ruto 100 percent. In fact, he is very strong in Murang’a. But on the other hand, Odinga’s camp has been dangling a certain carrot to the people of Mt Kenya that they will make our kingpin Uhuru Kenyatta the Prime Minister in 2022. I would urge Ruto to respond to that issue,” Kang’ata stated.

The Senate Chief Whip said that there were several positions that should be considered for Kenyatta so as to leverage on his relatively youthful age and experience.

He said his list of possible solutions included creating a position for East African Commission (EAC) President or a senior position in the African Union (AU).

Now, could it be that after Raila wins the 2022 presidential race Uhuru will take over the AU Position like be the special envoy in charge of Trade? well that is the secret DP Ruto is leaking. DP Ruto is opposed to constitutional change and therefore he will only offer what is practical and that is the position of AU High representative for Trade.

As the AU High Representative for Trade Uhuru will spend much of his time to tanga tanga across the globe including his favourite destination Dubai, Qatar, Kigali etc.

Good News! Jacque Maribe Can Read News, High Court did NOT issue a Blanket Bar

By JV Law

The High Court (J. Wakiaga, J) did NOT issue a Blanket Bar on Maribe’s News Reading:

Although Justice WAKIAGA issued some limited restriction which he found reasonable and justifiable, he did not say that Jackie Maribe cannot read news any more nor during the pendency of the trial.

The Judge’s orders and more particularly the intended meaning of “reading news” is that Paragraph 64 is a follow-up of, and must be read in the context of, Paragraph 56. And Paragraph 56 is very clear that the novel question relates “in particular to the 2nd Accused person’s appearance on television screen.”

“56. Mr. Mwaniki (sic) for the prosecution urged the court to put restrictions on the 2nd accused and in particular to her appearance on television screen. I have noted that this is novel point which has not been tested in our jurisdiction and from the submissions before me I note that this is a complex and substantial matter which needed full bail hearing so as to test whether or not the presence of the accused on the screen would intimidate or interfere with witnesses so as to affect the administration of justice. At this stage, however it must be noted that the accused is still presumed innocent and the court must guard against making orders which might be perceived to be confirming that the she is guilty in the eyes of the public…”

“64. Finally on the issue raised by Miss Mwaniki and having stated herein that it is a novel area, and taking into account the fact that the 2nd accused had the misfortune of reading the news in respect of the deceased’s death, I am of the considered view and hold that some limited restriction is reasonable and justifiable. I therefore direct as
follows:

a) The accused shall not read news, comment and participate in any interview directly or indirectly related to this case.

b) The accused shall not read news during the period this matter is fixed for hearing.

c) The accused shall not interview any parties directly or indirectly connected with this case including the victim’s family, her Advocate, defence Advocate, the prosecutors and any prosecution witnesses and the trial judge.

d) This order is subject to review by the court from time to time…”

It is clear from the foregoing that the orders meet the test of being “precise and not subject to double interpretation.” The ordes relates to her reading news on television screen.

Orders (a) and (b) relating to the news-reading are in my view equally precise and clear: while order (a) prohibits the 2nd accused from reading news, commenting and participating in any interview directly or indirectly RELATED TO THIS CASE, order (b) on the other hand prohibits the 2nd accused from reading news DURING THE PERIOD THE MATTER IS FIXED FOR HEARING. She may therefore read news when the matter is not fixed for hearing.

Dear Dennis Itumbi, Leo ni Leo, Ukiambiwa Kesho Kataa, Resist Being FriendZoned By Jacque Maribe

Women are black and white. If she doesn’t feel you, she doesn’t. You can buy her gold, emeralds, diamonds and everything but if she is not into you, she is not. To beat this, they friendzone you, with some measured gifts. You can get a kiss. Occasionally, she may use your chest to relax. If she is too lonely and hungry you can get ginene as one of my friend calls it.

Beyond that as a man, you will waste your time with her. That is why as soon as a woman points me to the friendzone I ran faster than Usain Bolt. Because once you are in the friendzone, and you accept that fate, you will be sent to most mundane tasks. Some can be so disrespectful.

Like my friend who recently went out with one of the finest women in Nairobi. He slept on the couch. When the main man came, she woke him hurriedly at 6 and told him the main guy is coming home, so she would appreciate if he left. He left politely and he says he will go with the indignity to the grave.

What I am saying is that that boy can write a million poems, but if he lives in the friendzone, he will been used and dumped again and the girl will move on without feelings.

Epukeni friendzone.

In the other news, Caroline Gikush got a special advise to some of us..

Dear Social Media friend,
Remember I don’t know you in the real world. The picture you paint of your self out here is the picture I will buy. Here I dine what has been served to me.

If you pose in this world as a slut, that is what I know. Don’t post pictures of you posing in compromising positions with a legion of the opposite gender creation then issue threats “You don’t me”….Oh, I know you as a Sexterpreneur in the social media realm.

If you have been pretending to be married when you are single, my friend… You are married.

If you act like you are doing very well, people will borrow you money. In the social media planet, we don’t know of your private fights with your landlord over rent arrears…

If your political enemies have planned to finish you buy leaking Images of you kissing your sister in law and made them go viral, my brother… We are not calling heavens to confirm. You are a Hyena by default.

The message is…. Paint a true image of yourself.
Don’t blame us for believing what you have made us believe…

BREAKING: Citizen TV’s Jacque Maribe Released After 5 Weeks Dry Spell, Jowie Remains in Custody

Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe has been released on bail while her co-accused Joseph Irungu alias ” Jowie’ has been denied bail.

Maribe has been freed on a cash bail of Ksh. 1 million with three sureties of a similar amount or Ksh. 2 million bond with one surety of a similar amount.

In his ruling, Justice James Wakiaga indicated that there was no indication that she is a flight risk and Prosecution did not prove that she would interfere with witnesses.

” Based on the materials placed I am unable to agree with the prosecution that Maribe will interfere or abscond court or act in any manner prejudicial” ruled Justice Wakiaga.

In denying Jowie bail, the court ruled that he has extensively traveled to Middle East with no known assets in the country and his willingness to surrender the passport is no guarantee that he will not jump bail or abscond court.

Further, the court noted that Jowie had no fixed aboard and no evidence before court that if released he would have a place to live so likely to abscond court.

Justice Wakiaga further indicated that his access to firearms and his already displayed love for guns could create fear and intimidation among the witnesses.

If released, the court ruled, there is a likelihood that he would interfere with the crime scene.

The court further noted that Jowie was in need of close supervision which can be attained under protective custody.

Justice Wakiaga therefore ruled that he can be treated at Kenyatta National Hospital with referral from the prison clinic.

The two have been charged with the murder 28-year-old Ms Monica Kimani on September 19,2018.

On Wednesday October 24, 2018, the two also took plea afresh after the prosecution amended the charge sheet to include other suspects not before court.

Prosecution led by Catherine Mwaniki has since opposed to the release of the two on bail or bond saying that they have been charged with a capital offence.

In their submission, the prosecution had termed Jowie as a flight risk while Maribe’s association with persons of influence held a likelihood that she would interfere and intimidate prosecution witnesses.

Maribe had been remanded at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison while Jowie was at the Industrial Area Remand Prison.

Irungu has been in custody since his arrest on the September 25,2018 while Maribe was arrested on October 1, 2018.

Irungu and Maribe have been charged with the murder of Monica Kimani whose body was found at her Kilimani apartment on September 19,2018.

I Will Retire in 2022, Not Interested With PM Position- Uhuru tells CNN’s Richard Quest

President Uhuru Kenyatta has said he will retire from office in 2022 and will not try to amend the Constitution to extend his tenure after his second and final term comes to end.

Speaking on Monday in an interview with CNN’s Richard Quest, President Kenyatta said he is not interested in a third term in office despite the political undertones calling on him to remain in office longer.

“Your term of office ends in 2022. You have said the Constitution prevents you from standing again. Are you trying to going to try and seek to change the Constitution?” Quest asked President Kenyatta, who responded with an emphatic “No.”

“I am not interested,” added Kenyatta when asked whether he would heed the call of those asking him to remain in office.

President Kenyatta went ahead to explain that the calls for a referendum from a section of political leaders is not about extending his tenure but reducing the cost of running the government.

“People are talking about Constitutional change not necessarily that they are desirous for the president to seek a third term but because of issues related to the cost of running this Constitution,” said Kenyatta.

The President’s sentiments come amid claims that a section Jubilee leaders are mulling over the possibility of amending the Constitution to make him a powerful prime minister once his term expires in 2022.
Reports indicate that this was part of the agenda at a Mt. Kenya parliamentary group meeting in Naivasha on Monday.

Meanwhile the President has played down the growing concerns over the country’s huge debt to China, further saying he is not worried about the country’s borrowing appetite.

“What would worry me is if the debt that we have incurred has gone to recurrent expenditure like salaries. But we have utilised that debt to close the infrastructure gap and anyone coming to Nairobi after 10 years will be able to know,” Uhuru told Quest.

The President said Kenya has a “healthy mix of debt” from the US, Japan, France and other international lenders, further questioning why people are mainly concerned about the country’s debt to China.

BREAKING Sad: Former Nairobi Town Clerk Hon John Gakuo ‘DIES In Prison’

Former Nairobi Town Clerk John Gakuo has died at Mbagathi Hospital in Nairobi. Gakuo was serving a three-year jail term for unprocedural procurement of cemetery land in Mavoko for the defunct Nairobi City Council. He died on Tuesday morning after he was rushed to hospital from Nairobi West Prisons where he was serving his sentence.

The former Town Clerk, alongside former Local Government PS Sammy Kirui, have been serving a three-year jail term since May this year over the Ksh.283 million Mavoko cemetery land scam.

Gakuo had appealed their sentence but in July 2018, the High Court declined their application to be released on bail pending the hearing and determination of their appeal.

In his ruling, Economic and Crimes Division Judge John Onyiego ruled that the appellants did not demonstrate that their appeal has high chances of success. In addition, the judge said he was not convinced that Gakuo’s alleged ill health was a justifiable reason.

Debunking Mt Kenya MPs Claims the region Controbutes 60% GDP of the Country

By Onyinkwa O via FB

Mount Kenya MPs are claiming that their region contributes 60% of Kenya’s GDP, but have been receiving a disproportionately low amount of development projects there. Let us interrogate this.

First, the 5 biggest cities and towns ~ and hence economies ~ in Kenya are Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and Nakuru, none of which is in the Mt. Kenya region. And that is even before we throw in Kisii, Kakamega, Kericho, Bungoma and Malindi. I’ll not even mention Narok and their Mara, Kitale and their Maize, Garissa and their livestock, Machakos, Kajiado, name it! Damn it!

Secondly, 3 of the 4 ~ a whole 3 quarters or 75% ~ of the Presidents we have had since independence hail from Mt. Kenya, with their hallmark being the marginalization of the other regions, particularly Nyanza, Western, Coast and North Eastern where the Cotton, Pyrtherum, Sugar, Fishing and such other other industries were deliberately and systematically killed. That is to say, it has been ‘their turn to eat’ 3 times.

I could go on deconstructing the crap that those deceitful liars went spewing, but the audience that was the target of their deceit won’t be listening. We are approaching 2022, and the herd must be brought back together, and moulded into this solid and unthinking vote block bereft of intellect, but rich with emotion. Those lies are calculated to instil in them not just a sense of entitlement, but also one of victimhood, laced with fear, for good measure.

Meet The Highly Experienced Pilots Who Flew KQ Dreamliner From Nairobi to New York

Hours before the flight took off, Veteran Kenya Airways pilot Joseph Kinuthia expressed his delight at being chosen to fly the Dreamliner 787-8 during the inaugural flight from Nairobi’s Joma Kenyatta International Airport to New York’s JF Kennedy Airport.

In an exclusive interview with Media Personality Alex Chamwada who is also on the maiden flight, the 65-year-old says it is an honour that the company selected him alongside three others, a captain and two co-pilots, to fly the plane to New York.

Captain Kinuthia flew the Deamliner 787-8 alongside Captain Eric Mbugua, Assistant Captain Jobba Said Musa and Assistant Captain Patrick Kipsambu.

“I have never flown to New York so it is a fascinating challenge,” he says. “And I’m honoured to be doing it for the first time for Kenya Airways.”

Captain Kinuthia attributes his selection to his massive experience and the fact that he will be retiring in the next few months.

“I was proposed to be the first one to fly to JFK because I am the most senior pilot in Kenya Airways today. I have been there since 1978. And I will be retiring in the next few months so the company thought probably I should be the one flying.”

Interestingly, captain Kinuthia has never flown to New York. He says he has been there as a visitor and so this becomes a whole new challenge. How do you tackle such?

“We started preparing for this flight the minute it was announced,” he says. It was my job to train people on how to fly to JFK using a dummy route on the simulator.”

In the cockpit, captain Kinuthia will be accompanied by a pilot and two co-pilots who will be assisting him throughout the 15-hour flight.

“I will be the captain to take off from Nairobi to cruise level then the other captain takes over through the cruise level before as I take a rest. I will the take over two hours to landing to prepare.”

During his 40 years on air, Captain Kinuthia has also flown powerful personalities including former President Daniel Arap Moi and Pope John Paul II. He has flown for 25, 000 hours.

Nairobi MCAs lead other counties in wasteful spending, Auditor General reveals

Ward representatives led by Nairobi MCAs are fleecing millions of taxpayers money through unsupported expenditure, unnecessary domestic and foreign travels.

They have taken advantage of their role in appointing speakers to demand millions in foreign and bench-marking trips that continue to deprive counties money to finance meaningful development projects.
According to Auditor General Edward Ouko, this has set the members of county assemblies on collision course with speakers, as each side battles to share allocations to the devolved governments.

Mr Ouko’s report has also lifted the lid on the latest wave of infighting in the assemblies, as it emerges that the chaos are largely fanned by the battle to control resources. In his latest audit for the year ending June 2017, Ouko reveals glaring discrepancies in the budgets and expenditure, pending bills and outstanding imprest, inflated car loans and mortgage, and inflated insurance costs in 22 counties.

In Nairobi, for instance, Sh70 million of Sh107 million paid to Lap Fund was not supported by payment vouchers and consequently, the accuracy of the compensation of employees’ expenditure of Sh780 million cannot be confirmed.

Not confirmed
Although the ledger reflects expenditure of Sh43 million, there is a variance of Sh29 million and the accuracy of the office and general supplies and services amounting to Sh13 million cannot be confirmed.

In Makueni, payments were made towards compensation of employees amounting to Sh356.9 million, but excel payroll records reflects Sh269 million, resulting in unreconciled difference of Sh87.9 million.

Further, the total amount captured in the payment vouchers in respect to compensation of employees amounted to Sh338 million, resulting again to unreconciled difference of Sh18 million.

“Under the circumstances, the accuracy of compensation of employees’ expenditure of Sh356 million cannot be confirmed,” reads the audit report.

Interestingly, Turkana County Assembly budgeted for the construction of ward offices and new county assembly offices at Sh180 million and Sh77 million respectively.
However, the records presented for audit indicate that the contract signed for the construction of the ward offices was Sh300 million, exceeding the budgeted amount by Sh120 million.
Exceeded by Sh102 million
Budgetary allocation for the construction of the assembly offices was exceeded by Sh102 million after contract documents showed that the contractor signed for Sh179 million for the work.

In Kwale,
the auditor notes that a contractor was paid Sh58 million but the work done did not match the payments made at the time of the audit review. This was after the contractor had been paid Sh302 million for the construction of the county assembly building budgeted at Sh466 million.

In Trans Nzoia, the statements of receipts and payments reflects social security benefits figure of Sh51 million against a nil budget contrary to regulation 53 (1) of the Public Finance Management (County Government) regulation, 2015.
“Under the circumstances, the county assembly is in breach of the law and the validity, accuracy and propriety of social benefits expenditure of Sh51 million could not be confirmed,” the report reads.
Lamu is on the spot for spending Sh13.4 million on pre-retirement training in Dubai, where value for the money could not be confirmed.
Of the Sh13.4 million the deputy Clerk and the director of legal services, who both have seven years to retire, spent Sh415,713 on the pre-retirement training in Dubai.
“There was no evidence to show that the officers indeed attended the training. Consequently, the propriety and value for money of the training expenses of Sh415,713 could not be confirmed,” reads the report.

The report showed how Machakos MCAs made a trip to Abu Dhabi in 2014 and were paid per diems amounting to Sh2.6 million but no report has been provided so far to support the gains made from the trip.
Miscellaneous expenses
No explanation has been given to date in respect of Sh150,000 made and paid to the members as miscellaneous expenses despite full per diems having been paid.
The county assembly also paid Sh3.6 million for security services, although the minutes of the tender committee held on February 3, 2015 shows that the security tender was awarded to another company for Sh12,500 per guard.

In Nandi County, a review of the personnel records presented for audit revealed that the county had 70 employees in its payroll, all from one dominant community, contrary to section 65 (1)(e) of the County Government Act. The law requires that the Public Service Board, in Selecting employees, considers that at least 30 per cent of the vacant posts are filled by those who are not form the dominant community.

In Homa Bay County,
the approved final budget for the assembly was Sh955 million, with Sh935 million allocated to recurrent expenditure and Sh20 million for development, out of which pending bills were allocated Sh7.9 million. However, the propriety of the expenditure cannot be confirmed.

In West Pokot, foreign travel expenses totaling Sh19 million could not be confirmed and another Sh10 million was incurred as per diems for various activities such as report writing, annual retreat and training for ward administrators that were held outside assembly headquarters.

In Taita Taveta, Sh14.9 million was unsupported with documents ranging from payments for gratuity, hospitality services, foreign travels, personal allowances paid as part of salaries and routine maintenance for motor vehicles and other transport equipment.

Elgeyo Marakwet County Assembly procured kitchen equipment and furniture worth Sh6.9 million, which the auditor general says was unnecessary.

Turkana County Assembly spent Sh3.4 million on foreign travel to Malaysia and South Africa, but the trips cannot be supported because they never took place.

In Vihiga County Assembly, the auditor notes, there were irregular and double sitting allowances totaling Sh3 million.

According to Ouko, Nakuru spent Sh59.7 million to pay ward representatives sitting allowances, but the review of a bio-metric system that had been installed in the assembly to monitor attendance of plenary and committee meetings showed several disparities.

In Kajiado, Speaker Johnson Osoi, who is the chairman of the County Assembly Forum, and Kajiado West MP George Sunkuiya have both been singled out in the audit report as having received imprest that they did not account for. According to the report, Osoi was issued with an impress of Sh509,184 to attend a training on strategic public service administration in Singapore.

Official trip
He travelled on July 24 and returned on July 29. “It was not clear whether this was an official trip, as the initial training was from June 26 to 30, 2017,” says the report.

Sunkuiya, who was a ward representative at the time, before he was elected MP, was issued Sh402,696 imprest to attend the same meeting with Osoi, but did not provide any evidence that he travelled.?

Former Nairobi Governor Kidero Audit Queries Haunt Sonko, Fined 500k By Senate PAC

Kidero’s City Hall audit queries ghosts haunt Governor Sonko

Despite his recent arrest and prosecution in court over corruption related charges, former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero is still a man on the spot.

The Senate’s Public Accounts and Investment Committee (SPAIC), has now fined Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko Sh0.5m for failing to appear before the committee over Kidero’s misappropriation of County funds.

The audit queries Sonko is supposed to answer to date back to the 2014/15 financial year when former Kidero was in office.

The Senate Committee has now fined Sonko Ksh.500, 000 for failing to honour its summons over audit queries raised by Auditor-General Edward Ouko.

The Committee chairman Moses Kajwang on Monday said Sonko must pay the fine before November 5, further directing him to appear on December 5 this year.

“The Senate will not be taken into a charade and our business is to have the governor appear before us and answer how billions of money was spent in the county. We cannot listen to a county secretary who has written to us,” Moses Kajwang said at the time.

Kidero denied three corruption-related charges leading to the loss of Sh213 million.

Kidero pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiring to commit an offense of fraud and two counts of dealing with suspect property leading to loss of public funds.

He is accused alongside nine others for services not rendered on diverse dates between January 16, 2014 and January 2016.

Three Things That Otile Brown Never Understood, Dumped Twice By Plastic Ass Vera Sidika

OTILE BROWN NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS THREE THINGS!

1. A woman was never created by God to help a man, never! You’ll feed a woman for 10years non stop and never complain. But if she feeds you for 10days the news will be all over kilimani mums.

2. A woman will only help you, when she is aware that you have lots of cash and she has peanuts. In fact its not helping, its a strategy to unlock your spending on her. Anakupatia kidogo when you dont need it ndio akikuomba usimyime.

3. A woman’s cash is her Cash, But your cash becomes our cash to her!

Otile Brown should have known this from the start! And to men out there. Never allow a woman to buy anything apart from spoons and decoration flowers in your House. Siku mtaachana atakuaniaka kwa ploti vile she found you with nothing!

And she old bought a wall clock!

Will The Michuki Rules Cure The Killer Road Accidents? Failed Economy To Blame for Increased Road Carnage

By Silas Nyanchwani via FB

On November 12, the revered Michuki rules are making a comeback and in Matiang’i we have someone capable of enforcing the rules. Because we are headed to a Christmas season where we normally have the highest number of accidents.

But are the Michuki rules a panacea to the transport problems. These country has no short of rules that we like breaking, with impunity.

Been thinking.

Forcing people to wear seat-belts, and having the police harassing motorists is not the way out of our problems. Reactionary measures hardly help.

The first thing we need to talk about is the value of human life. As Africans, we have the least appreciation of human life. In Bomet County I saw a probox carrying at least 15 passengers. Why? Why do we allow that happen?

The reason is poverty. The poor person has no options.
And the owner of the probox wants to maximize the profits.

And therein lies the problem. When a key sector like transport is privatized for business, that is the result. The matatu chaos signify the chaotic nature of our transport sector.

New York had the most fatal accident in 10 years recently when a Limousine caused an accident that claimed 20 people. On Kenyan roads that is a weekly average.

In developed countries first of all, roads are double-laned, that means head-on-collisions are rare. Secondly, most of them use trains that are much safer than motor vehicles.

Thirdly, there are punitive measures for anyone who breaks the law. In Kenya, those who break law, as long as they are rich they will buy their justice. We are in phase where they play PR with some temporary bans, some jailing just to show justice is being done.

We have a long way to go.

We mist think long-term. We must rethink how we design our roads. We must ensure that the vehicles we travel in meet basic design features for safety. We must learn to have even guardrails on roads that run along escarpments and steep places. Reckless drivers must be taken our roads. The government should in the long term reposes the transport sector and make it public.

It is only through such measures that we can do away with accidents.

Lastly this festive season, drivers are always in a rush to make quick money. Someone wants to leave Nairobi at 5 a.m. Be in Kisumu by 10. Back in Nairobi by 4 p.m and go back to Kisumu by 10 p.m. And wake up at 5.

This kind of greed, has no bounds.

CNN’s Richard Quest Forgives Julie Gichuru for Spreading Fake News, Kenyans Stripped Online

CNN Top business anchor Richard Quest has forgiven Julie Gichuru for spreading fake news over his tour in Kenya. Julie, a Jubilee apologist cum propagandist Julie Gichuru was forced to apoligise to Mr Quest after he called her out for sharing a fake quote attributed to him (spreading fake news)

On Tuesday, the visiting celebrated anchor shared a picture of his visit at the Giraffe Manor that captured a giraffe craning its neck through a window as he prepared to take breakfast table.

“Guess who’s coming for breakfast?” Quest captioned the picture.

The former Citizen TV anchor made the embarrassing mistake of tagging a fake quote to Mr Quest’s post.

Quest was not amused by the quote, and quickly told Julie that it was a nice sentiment but he never actually said it.

“Ahh Julie…. a nice pic and sentiment. But I never actually said that! (Even though I am having a very good visit),” he wrote in response.

Well, Richard departs Kenya today aboard Kenya Airways inaugural Nairobi-New York direct flight and will shooting his monthly show Business Traveler, leaving Julie with a rotten egg in the face.

Well, since she aired the controversial Sex4Fish news bit that tried to demean Luo women, Julie has attracted hate from many Kenyans who find her to be out of touch with reality. She is half Asian/Indian married to Mt Kenya oligarchy the Gichuru family (she is daughter inlaw to long term MD of Kenya Power and Lightening Compnay James Gichuru who served during President Moi’s era and accused of amassing billions some which are tucked away in tax haven of Jersey in United Kingom (he has an active criminal case running together with former Finance Minister Chris Okemo)

Meanwhile President Uhuru will flag off the Nairobi New York inaugural direct flight from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The Handshake Will Not Solve Economic Mess Caused By Jubilee Plunder, Unemployment Hits Highest Levels Ever

By Ephy Njega via FB

This country has only been creating around 10% formal jobs out of total employment for the last forty years. Over 50% of these formal jobs are very poor quality jobs that can’t guarantee a decent livelihood.

The few quality jobs available make education sinfully competitive. Things are worse today in the context of rising population and a nonperforming economy.

We have never had such ‘stupid’ leaders as we do in today’s Kenya. Leaders should work towards creating an economy where everyone can afford decent livelihood regardless of what grades one attained.

What hope is there when leaders can’t understand basic concepts or interpret simple issues correctly?

You can’t blame people for chasing grades when you have created an economy where only the top academic cream can dream of good jobs which are not even guaranteed.

Chances of making it economically are diminishing. Opportunities remaining are looting, begging, betting and conning. What kind of an economy or country will come out of such activities?

How many of these so called leaders can take their kids to TVET institutions they keep talking about? They don’t even take their kids through our education system yet they can comment on it all day. Just because you have made it through looting doesn’t mean working hard has run out of fashion.

Your children can succeed with low or no grades since you have stolen enough to last for generations. What about the poor who can only bet on education to survive?

We should work on changing the structure of our economy instead of focusing on non-issues and sideshows.

I have been thinking about the reasons why the government is still unwilling to acknowledge the difficult economic situation we are in yet they are not campaigning for office as was the case a few years ago.

I am almost reaching the scaring conclusion that these people are so clueless that they do not even realise the precarious state we are in.

Their high salaries that do not correlate with economic performance and the opportunities to steal have blinded these people from reality. When they say the economy is booming they actually believe it. They are not joking.

The implication of this is that these people are ill prepared to deal with a full-blown economic crisis. When that happens, they will make panicky decisions that will make a bad situation worse. As always, STAY PREPARED.

Detectives arrested former Government Advertising Agency (GAA) Director Dennis Chebitwey on Saturday over the Sh2.5 billion scandal at the organisation.

Police apprehended Mr Chebitwey in Nairobi’s Mountain View estate after a day-long search.

The former GAA boss was driven to the headquarters of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Kiambu Road for interrogation.

He will spend the night in police cells.

“We finally have him. We are going for the others,” said a detective involved in the search for the suspects.

Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji earlier approved the prosecution of 22 suspects over the Sh2.5 billion scandal at the agency.

The first to be arrested was Lugari member of parliament Ayub Savula who is accused of fraudulently obtaining Sh122 million from the agency.

Foolish Kenyans!

Foolish Kenyans!

Kenyans are just foolish. During elections, I warned them against boarding a certain bus called Jubilee. I told them that the bus was trying to lure unsuspecting Kenyans to certain despair. I told them the conductor of the bus was unqualified to drive the bus. I told them the driver was a waltzing, energy-guzzling hustler driven by malicious desperation.

With drums, and songs and dance, the driver and his conductor managed to generate hype hysteria and hoopla at every bus stop (campaign rallies). The unwary boarded the bus without even questioning where it was headed. Those who believe that democracy also guarantees the right to be misled, jumped into that tragic Jubilee bus.

Happily enough, as they journey, passengers have realized that their driver is not only drunk, but also unqualified. He lacks a mastery of the road. In fact, he doesen’t even have a valid driving license. They are beginning to get the message.

The conductor is also hyperactive, gripped by strangely high spirits, having customarily taken a quantum of same. The driver is the drunkest man in the bus station. He wears a stylish face to make him look sober by all means. But his body is weak. His grip on the steering is failing. He has started to forget the name of his conductor. And don’t even bother to ask him about road signs. If only those that rushed to his bus would take a look at the driver and conductor and other employees on the bus, things would be better for them.

When I examine Kenyan politics using my crystal balls, I see the harbingers of class suicide knocking at the door. In this country, politics is the only well paying job. Everyone wants to vie for a political office at the detriment of poor Kenyans. They voted for them and they are now paying for their stupidity because it they who keep voting for them. They are now on their own. It is needless telling them to save themselves because a hunter’s dog does not hear the smell of faeces.

Regretfully, what pours petrol into the raging fire of despair is that the man who Kenyans thought was their savior, has joined looters in government. But at a time like this, however, I wish to quote former

American president John Kennedy, “If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.” After all, this is a poor country of rich people. He who has ears, let him hear.

But wait, Adolf Hitler said,

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think”
