The pastor said that the church ha s a procedure and her case will not be considered a VIP one as all souls are the same in the presence of God and that they guy with the lady will go through different tests before being hooked together.

Nana has been in the news not only because she’s a scion of the Gecagas who are connected with the Kenyattas through marriage, but also because of her visible work at KICC.

Bombshell for Kalonzo as Kivutha drops Wiper chairperson seat movement with Mutua and Ngilu

Makueni governor and former Chairperson of the Wiper party has resigned following their continued disagreement with Wiper learder Kalonzo Musyoka on numerous grounds.
Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has cut ties with the Wiper party, saying he cannot be in an “abusive marriage.”

Speaking at ATC Kwa-Kathoka on Thursday, during a public participation forum, Professor Kibwana asked Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to remove him as the party chairman, if he wishes to.

He further blamed Mr Musyoka for using his juniors to fight him politically and faulted Kalonzo for announcing during his father’s burial that he would be President Uhuru Kenyatta’s errand boy and castigating people who would be opposed to that.

He further criticized Kalonzo for not championing for development in Ukambani but isolating the community from the National government.

The Makueni governor maintained that he is not plotting to overtake Mr Musyoka as the Ukambani kingpin but was only pushing for Ukambani region to play a major part in the national politics.

“What we have with Governor Alfred Mutua and Governor Ngilu is not political. This is only focused on the economy. We want to champion for the development of the three counties in order to uplift our counties,” Prof Kibwana stated.

Why Murathe could still be speaking as the Jubilee party Vice chairperson

Jubilee house seems to on smoke again after recent remarks by David Murathe who upto this moment, the registra of political parties has confirmed that no communication about the new leadership of the ruling party had been confirmed to her.

On Thursday, Murathe continued his onslaught against Deputy President William Ruto during a consultative meeting at former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s home.

Murathe claimed that the National Anti-Corruption Conference that was held on January 25 was convened to discuss Ruto.

During his resignation on January 6, the party leader indicated that his “position was no longer tenable”.
He also announced a movement that he would use to achieve his goal of preventing the Deputy President from ascending to power.

Part of his plan involves getting the Supreme Court to declare that since the DP automatically acts as president in the event that the incumbent is unable to discharge his functions, he should not be allowed to run for president after the two terms.
Murathe had earlier warned Ruto of dare consequences that awaits the former Eldoret North constituency in the much awaited 2022 presidential elections.

Ruto disowns Aisha jumwa, Khalwale and counterparts in early campaign drive

Deputy president william Ruto has distanced self from the early 2022 campaigns going on in the country, Ruto who was accompanied the head of state in Kitengela on Thursday told those pretending to be his lieutenants to stop wasting their time.
Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, Kiharu MP Dindi Nyoro, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and ex-Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale are among leaders who have been drumming up support for Ruto.

Ruto appeared to make a sharp U-turn on his 2022 presidential campaigns.

Ruto said he has never approved, canvassed or engaged in any form of preparation for a presidential or other campaign after the last presidential polls in 2017.

“It has come to the attention of the Deputy President that there are individuals and/or groups who are purporting to be mobilising support connected to his 2022 presidential campaign,” he said.

In a strongly worded statement, Ruto dismissed those campaigning for him make better use of their resources.

“The Deputy President therefore asks those running noisy charades and mock campaigns to use resources. He also demands that they leave his name out of their shenanigans,” Ruto said though his communications secretary David Mugonyi.

It was unclear what triggered the DP’s response, although he has been on a near weekly 2022 charm offensive known as the Tangatanga movement. Uhuru had famously criticised the DP for wandering aimlessly or loitering around the country.

It remains to be seen if Ruto will cease his early 2022 campaigns after he openly denounced his backers.

“The Deputy President is a democrat and believes that campaigning must be done at the appropriate time, in an organised, systematic manner that gives candidates the opportunity to have quality engagement with the people within a political party and based on issues and policies,” Mugonyi said yesterday.

He went on, “At the moment, he [Ruto] is working to support the President to ensure that Jubilee’s transformational agenda, especially the Big Four, is fully realised in every part of the country.”

The DP himself has been hosting delegations from various communities, with his eye on the top job.

Uhuru has warned on numerous occasions against distracting early campaigns.

‘I will sack politicking ministers, cooperate and respect CS Matiangi’- Uhuru warns DP Ruto allies

By Roselyne Obala for Standard

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday ordered Cabinet secretaries who dabble in politics to quit or be sacked.

Sources told confirmed Uhuru put on notice CSs, who fail to comply with his Executive orders, that they risked losing their jobs. This was during a Cabinet meeting held at Statehouse, Nairobi.

The President chaired the first Cabinet meeting since he issued the Executive Order that handed Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i sweeping powers on oversight of programmes across Government, including chairing a committee of all CSs.

Matiang’i will report to the President in his new role.

Some CSs are reported to have been unhappy with the arrangement that appears to place Matiang’i first among equals.

“The President was very firm on the conduct of CSs in relation to politics. He told the CSs to toe the line and adhere to the Constitution or be sent packing,” said the source.

The Constitution prohibits the CSs from dabbling in politics. Those appointed from parliament had to officially resign from their elective posts before taking office.

According to the sources privy to the discussions, the Head of State talked tough in regard to his Executive Order that gave sweeping powers to Matiang’i.

Though Deputy President William Ruto instructed all State officers to respect the order, his close allies read mischief, claiming Matiang’i’s new role made him the Principal Assistant to the President and undermined the DP.

“The President was very straightforwrd. The Executive Order stands and all CSs must obey. Those opposing him or feel they cannot be supervised should give way,” said another source.

The President is said to have reminded the CSs that they were his appointees and those opposed to his orders would be fired.

Matiang’i is the chair of the National Development Implementation and communication cabinet committee that supervises the delivery of all government projects and programmes, monitors and evaluates allocation of resources and gives timely briefs to the president.

His mandate extends to any other roles assigned by the President.

Already, Matiang’i’s new role is beginning to felt within Cabinet circles. When one CS was contacted about yesterday’s meeting, he responded, “Please liaise with Dr Matiang’i. He is the one mandated to communicate on our meetings.”

At the meeting also attended by DP William Ruto, AG Kihara Kariuki, Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua and Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita, the President is said to have dwelt on his Big Four agenda, corruption, Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) and E-Procurement.

The President is understood to have advised that his Big Four agenda should be prioritised by all departments in ministries.

On corruption, the President issued strict instructions to all CSs to ensure their ministries and departments adopt zero-tolerance for the vice, warning that there would be no ‘sacred cows’ in the ongoing war against graft.

Uhuru also dwelt on the issue of BBI, which was launched after his handshake with opposition leader Raila Odinga in March last year.

“He emphasised that all the CSs should be supportive and everybody must be involved,” said another CS who declined to be quoted.

According to the source, the meeting approved the establishment of a Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Center (C-IEDD Centre) at Embakasi Garrison, Nairobi.

It also discussed and approved the hosting of the 23rd session of Food and Agriculture/World Health Organisation coordinating committee meeting for Africa in Nairobi between September 2 and 6.

Drama: Angry DP Ruto disbands tanga tanga movement, kicks out Mt Kenya busy bodies, swindled him millions with zero results

DP Ruto has disbanded the informal campaign outfit tanga tanga movement.

The DP Ruto is said to be very angry after it hit him that many Mt Kenya busy bodies who have been flocking his office were pretenders who cannot show any tangible results on the ground. The DP is angry that despite the massive investment he as poured to Central Kenya nothing has really changed on the ground.

His anger was provoked by Hon Moses Kuria who is set to ditch Jubilee Party and is said to be the force behind reviving the defunct Democrat Party as an alternative vehicle for region.

Ruto has heavily invested in Western Kenya, Kisii, Central and the Coast but little has changed, his support remains the 1.8million votes of mainly the Kalenjin community. Here is the statement from his office disbanding team tanga tanga .

STATEMENT ON THE PURPORTED 2022 CAMPAIGNS

It has come to the attention of the Deputy President that there are individuals and/or groups who are purporting to be mobilising support connected to his 2022 presidential campaign.

At no time has the Deputy President approved, canvassed or engaged in any other form of preparation for a presidential or other campaign after the last Presidential Election.

Secondly, he does not, and has never approved, consented to or supported haphazard, sketchy, messy, premature political canvassing.

The Deputy President is a democrat and believes that campaigning must be done at the APPROPRIATE time, in an organised, systematic manner, that gives candidates the opportunity to have quality engagement with the people within a political party and based on issues and policies.

At the moment, he is working to support the President to ensure that Jubilee’s transformational agenda, especially the Big 4, is fully realised in every part of the country.

The Deputy President therefore asks those running noisy charades and mock-campaigns to use their energy more productively while those funding the same to find better use for their resources. He also demands that they leave his name out of their shenanigans.

We hope Raila will resist Uhuru plot to be Prime Minister post 2022 to avoid Jaramogi mistake of 1961

By Dr. Wandia Njoya

If you read “Not yet uhuru,” you get amazed by the blind faith Jaramogi had in Jomo. But Jomo was a playboy. He went to England with the brief to fight for the land rights of his tribe, but when he got to London, he partied. Got himself a wife and a kid, then was coached by some white anthropologist to write Facing Mount Kenya.

When he came back, the Mau Mau leaders knew he was a fraud. They even warned Jomo that they would kill him if he didn’t stop badmouthing them in public. When he was jailed in Kapenguria, he was treated better than the other prisoners.

So why Jaramogi kept saying during Lancaster days that there should be no independence talks without Jomo is really quite baffling. And then after all that, by 1969 Jomo had put Jaramogi under house arrest and killed Jaramogi’s career. By the time Jaramogi returned in the 90s, he had very few years left.

Now Jaramogi’s son is held up in the same strange adoration for Jomo’s son. In 2017, he was sworn in as the people’s president and a boycott was started. That was our best chance to collapse the Kinyarra government. If we had gone through with that, we would have broken Muigai’s hold on the econonmy, which is what keeps him in power. But Raila preferred to negotiate. Now in addition to the handshake, he wants a prime minister position created that could easily keep Muigai in power, Putin style, for the rest of Muigai’s life.

Basically, it seems, the Odingas role is to protect the Kinyarras. No matter what mud the Kinyarras throw at them, and no matter what support they have from the people, the Odingas ditch the people and go back to the Kinyarras. It’s as if Raila believes, deep down in his heart, that the Kinyarras are unshakeable. So he keeps negotiating for ways to be president that dont deny power to the Kinyarras.

Or maybe the Odingas are mesmerized by the support of white supremacy that is behind the Kinyarras? Maybe Jaramogi was awed by the hero status Jomo got for being jailed by white people. Maybe Raila was mesmerized by Godec. Maybe he feels that the way to power is to get white folk in Washington, and the honorary white folk from Uthamakistan, to like him.

If that’s the case, that’s to completely misunderstand how racism and supremacist logic works. No matter how long Raila goes around the country with Muigai, Uthamakistan will never like him. Not just because he’s Luo, but because that’s how supremacy works. Supremacy doesnt need a reason to hate. It just does, because its goal is to control others. Some of us know that because white folk have hated Africans for centuries, and they simply recreate the reasons to hate as they go along. Ethnic supremacy is a system of economy, politics and narratives. It’s not about feelings.

I say some of us understand, because there are many Kenyans who looove them some white folk. The wazungu couldnt penetrate the Maa people’s, but when they came to Central, kina Snr Chief Koinange were behaving like settlers and Jomo went to London to party. When Trump was calling us shithole, some Kenyans spent time tweeting pictures of our wildlife and sky scrapers to show Trump that we are not a shithole (I’m sure they meant, but didnt say, “like the rest of Africa”).

So maybe, at the heart of the shenanigans of the political class, is the adoration of white supremacy. As a country, we have never collectively come to terms with our Africanness. Even when some of us refer to our wonderful cultures, it’s to reply to whiteness, not because our cultures are legitmate in their own right.

Maybe we should have a pastoralist as the next president. Pastoralists dont have this African-Mzungu angst like some Kenyan ethnic groups do. They live their Africanness without feeling they have to explain why they are who they are.

But I digress. This pact that ODM wants to do with Uthamakistan to have prime ministership will be what the prophet Isaiah called “a covenant with death and an agreement with hell.” Prime ministership is like the three-fifths clause that whites in America used to exploit the African Americans for political gain without allowing them a political voice. If we Kenyans feel disempowered right now with incompetent goons making backroom deals, prime minister system will be worse. We will be where Americans are with presidents who dont win the popular vote, or where Britain is, being run by a clueless, incompetent elite.

No amount of playing around with how presidents are chosen will save Kenya without ECONOMIC rights. Taxation or nationalization of land. Retrieval of public assets, jailing of thieves, an end to privatization of health and education, among other social services, and democracy in the workplace. With the boycott, we had a slim chance to finally address the economy. We blew that chance.

But playing around with who’s in power and how they get there, without addressing the economy, is really white supremacy reloaded. It’s the same as the hypocrisy of Israel, going to temple to worship while disobeying God’s law and oppressing the orphan, the widow and the alien. And God didnt punish just the hypocrite leaders. God sent the whole of Israel into Babylon. God wont hesitate to do the same to Kenya if we refuse to deal with the economic oppression that is impoverishing our people and depressing our youth.

We Kenyans are not as special as we think we are. God will not spare us if we walk down this road of prime minister foolishness.

Miguna was just a witness at Raila swearing in, oath was self administering – Hon Otiende Omollo

Controversial and deported lawyer Miguna Miguna on Wednesday engaged in a war of words with Rarienda MP Otiende Amollo over his remarks that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general did not administer the oath to Raila Odinga during the mock swearing-in.

According to Amollo, the oath was self administered and Miguna should not misinform the public by taking credit as the administrator of the oath.

However, Miguna could hear none of it and sarcastically responded; “oaths don’t administer themselves.”

Omolo argued that there was a difference between “administering” and “witnessing,” and in law and principle, Miguna only played the role of a witness and not an administrator.

Nevertheless the, ‘I am not boarding’ lawyer termed Omolo’s argument as ‘nonsense, with no legal background’.

“Nonsense Otiende, one of the duties of a commissioner for oaths and/or notary public is to administer oaths and affirmations, which are solemn premises of truthfulness made by a signer or witness,” Miguna tweeted.

DP Ruto to work with Raila as Mt Kenya mafia plot to hold onto power beyond 2022

Mt Kenya mafia to hold into power beyond 2022, plot to destroy DP Ruto, Raila Kalonzo after referendum. Musalia Moi preferred
By Nija Ado

MERCHANTS IN KENYA’S POLITICAL CHESSBOARD.

When you see David Murathe, a member of president Uhuru Kenyatta’s inner circle spanner boys meeting Kalonzo Musyoka one minute and the next minute he meets Raila Odinga, coupled by numerous seemingly cosy political chit chat forays amongst other opposition luminaries, let yourself not be naive to the point of being hoodwinked that it is all about uniting the nation of Kenya.

These political merchants have mastered the political art of keeping their friends close and their enemies closest so that when they finally strike them with a fatal political blow, their enemies will be scattered into smithereens! It is a typical Machiavellian strategy driven by the principle that ” the harm to your enemy should be so fatal such that you need not fear of any revenge from him” thereafter.

It is indeed amazing that virtually all political commentators perceive Deputy President William Ruto as the only most likely political victim of the Mt. Kenya’s political merchants’ Machiavellian manoeuvre. I don’t think so one bit!
True, the man from Sugoi is on the radar of their political gun barrels but so is Raila Odinga! Why? Because these two political heavyweights are the main obstacles to their agenda of perpetuating their lifelong stranglehold on political power and the country’s economic muscle.

In short, when the curtains eventually come down in 2022, both Ruto and Raila will have been successfully waylaid out of the country’s political chessboard – permanently! The rest of the current opposition leadership of the likes of Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and the rest are just malleable soapstones easily broken and shaped to fit the eternal whims and political desires of the Mt. Kenya political merchants.

In conclusion, Baba and the Chief Hustler are just being fattened for the political slaughter table. And is there a better way of doing this except by taking the so-called development agenda to their political strongholds so as to gain acceptance in those areas before the real and devious political masterstroke is eventually revealed?

Power of social media secures a job for a first class lady who was wallowing in village poverty

After the story of one Ruth Rono, a 27-year-old first class economics degree holder from Baringo emerged online, Kenyans of goodwill offered to help.
The smile on her face can now be seen after the Ben Kirui run story on citizen Tv.
This is after Seven Meals Households Group (K) traced her from social media with a lucrative deal to pull her out of the untold misery and grieve.

Ruth who hails from Tenges Ward in Baringo County completed her bachelor’s degree at Chuka University with first class honors in Economics and Statistic but has never gotten formal employment since she graduated.

On Wednesday, after massive social media appeals and outcry, Seven Meals Households Holdings Managing Director Charles Muriuki rose to the occasion.

“Finally we have traced Ruth Runo and she will be joining us as an employee this month, February 2019, we will facilitate her movement from Baringo to Nairobi, rent her a house and give her a chance to advance her life and that of her family,” confirmed Lydia Wathobio, the company’s affiliate.

She added that “Charles Muriuki is our Managing Director and he is the one responsible for this good deed. She will report to work next week.”

Ruth’s parents separated some years back after her father, who is alcoholic, razed their three grass thatched houses, forcing her sick mother to seek refuge from her parents.

This forced her to go back to the village and assume the responsibilities of her parents.

“After campus, I spent time in Nairobi doing some casual jobs but that didn’t last long since after four months I was called by my mother and she told me that our father had razed down all the three houses following family disagreements,” she revealed to Baringo News.

The desperate girl has been doing manual jobs at their home to provide for her siblings, something that has become hard due to limited earnings. This has forced her siblings to drop out of school.

ODM must now stop baby-sitting Wiper and deal with it as an internal threat

By Phil Wesonga

The Embakasi South by-election is the result of a successful petition by ODM’s Irshad Ali Sumra . The campaign for these polls has brought to the fore the barefaced impudence, outright dishonesty and misplaced sense of entitlement of both Wiper and Ford Kenya parties.

Wiper’s Mwathathe was irregularly declared winner of a seat ODM had won fair and square. In the court ordered re-run, knowing it stands no chance against ODM, Wiper shamelessly invited Jubilee to support it. Its leader Kalonzo also demanded ODM withdraws from the race!

Trust former Senate minority leader Wetangula not to see beyond Ruto’s pockets. FORD-K, a Bungoma based briefcase party, has been the least active, greatest burdensome and the most totally out of sync partner of the NASA coalition.

It’s leader Moses Wetangula who has zero appreciation of City politics cannot remember that ODM left Kamkunji for Wiper, a seat they eventually lost. Wiper also costed ODM the Langata seat, it’s traditional stronghold by fielding a candidate who had no chance but went away with more than 5000 of opposition votes. But perhaps the ultimate sacrifice was ODM allowing Wiper’s colourless running mate for Evans Kidero in the Gubernatorial race. The results are there for all to see.

In Garissa, this same attitude by Wiper costed NASA the Gubernatorial seat. Watu wakuzoea kupewa.

ODM must now stop baby-sitting Wiper and deal with it as an internal threat. The less said about liabilities like FORD-K, the better.

Am not in the group that gave Ruto Weston Hotel say NLC’s Swazuri

National Land Commission (NLC) Chairman Muhammad Swazuri on Wednesday distanced himself from a recent decision that spared Weston Hotel from demolition.

NLC last week ordered for a revaluation of the land on which the hotel sits to establish its current market price to enable it (Weston Hotel) officially buy the land from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) as reimbursement.

The decision caused public uproar with Kenyans questioning why Weston Hotel, which is associated with Deputy President William Ruto, was not demolished as has been the case with other buildings built on public or riparian land.

Mr. Swazuri however, speaking on Citizen TV’s Day Break show on Wednesday, stated that the decision was made in his absence.

The NLC boss, whose term ends on February 19, 2019, instead tossed blame to his Vice Chair Abigael Mbagaya whom he accused of approving and signing the decision without consulting him.

“I was charged on August 13, 2018 and, through some technicalities, was bundled out of office until November 30. The rest of the commission adjudicated on that matter during that time and they made a decision in my absence,” said Mr. Swazuri.

Provide evidence to the police if you have any against Joho warns ODM

Three Orange Democratic Movement lawmakers have dared politicians who have evidence that can link Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho with the Akasha brothers to step forward.

Speaking at Paliament buildings on Wednesday, MPs Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir (Mvita), Babu Owino (Embakasi East) and Mishi Mboko (Likoni) defended Governor Joho against critics.

“We are daring them if they have any evidence to provide to the police,” Abdulswamad stated.

“If they are afraid of the police they can talk to you (media) so that you can talk to the police that governor Joho is involved in any illegality,” he added.

U.S connections

Abdulswamad said that Joho has been travelling to the United States since Mombasa County has partnerships with the City of Seattle in America.

The presser comes days after Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa accused Governor Joho of being behind her tribulations in the ODM party.

The vocal legislator is facing disciplinary action in ODM for supporting DP William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

Political temperatures have been rising in Malindi after the ODM National Executive Council adopted disciplinary committee report recommending the expulsion of Jumwa and Suleiman Dori (Msambweni).

The fate of the two MPs now lies with the party’s National Governing Council after NEC adopted the decision to kick them out of the party last week on Thursday.

“I will deal with you and not the dogs you send here in Malindi to insult me. I will deal with the master, not the messenger. We respect the ODM party and its leadership but we do not respect you (Joho) because you don’t respect yourself,’’ she said.

Jumwa was addressing journalists after attending a burial at Msabaha area in her constituency.

“I would like to assure Malindi people that their MP for the next five years in accordance with the constitution is Aisha Jumwa. I came to give you an assurance, those speaking otherwise are busybodies who have been sent by a well-known person,’’ she said.Image result for amason kingi

The legislator said Kilifi county has an ODM governor (Amason Kingi) who does not demand to be respected because he is a true leader.

“Kingi does not behave like Joho sending people to demand respect from fellow leaders,’’ she said.

Earlier Malindi women asked the Joho and the entire ODM leadership to give Malindi a break and stop bringing by-election politics in the area as this will divide the united constituency.

However in retaliation, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s allies have turned to social media to silence Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman DoriImage result for Suleiman Dori aisha

A group of MCAs warned Dori and Jumwa against attacking the county chief. While some preferred a bare-knuckle onslaught, the majority felt that would only work to the MPs’ advantage.

They do not want to take any measures that might raise Jumwa’s and Dori’s political profiles, promising to take the battle online and attack their integrity.

The Embakasi South battle is between Handshake vs Tanga Tanga team: Sifuna

The Embakasi South by-elections are surely going to be the main taking point in different political circles for times to come ahead. The race for the now vacant seat is heating up with Political Parties out to outdo each other in this looming gruesome battle for Supremacy.

Opposition Party ODM, the Party whose candidate, Irshad Sumra successfully challenged the results of the Embakasi South Parliamentary elections in a Court feels that they deserve the seat more than any political party out there.

Trouble started brweing when ODM demanded that it’s coalition partner Wiper withdrew it’s candidate from the race. Wipers Julius Mawathe was the sitting MP before the Court annulled his election.

Wiper stood it’s ground and has since handed Mawathe a Nomination certificate to all but prove that everything is set for the battle.

The other hurdle that has come in ODM’s way is the fact that a section of Jubilee MPs led by Moses Kuria have vowed to support Wiper candidate Mr Mawathe. This Mr Kuria said was in the spirit of the handshake.
This has however not gone down well with ODM which has told Jubilee leaders to stay away from the April 5 Embakasi South by-election.

They have declared the by-election a contest between pro and anti-handshake forces.

Yesterday, ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna said Jubilee should not meddle in Nasa affairs, but should instead allow the people of Embakasi South to choose their leaders. ODM is fronting former MP Irshad Sumra to fly its flag in the contest.

Sifuna also dismissed calls by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka that ODM should withdraw its candidate and rally behind Mawathe, who was the only Wiper MP in Nairobi. “If there is anyone who thought we were going to withdraw our candidates or give way, then they can clearly see that we are going nowhere,” he said.

Baba take the oath and reject equity bank, Raila junior role in the controversial swearing-in

Exiled Lawyer Miguna Miguna has revealed that Raila Odinga Junior played an immense role in the controversial swearing-in of the opposition chief.

In brief excerpts of his new book, Treason: The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades, the firebrand lawyer records that Raila Junior told his father, Raila Odinga not to disappoint him as well as other Kenyans who believed in his leadership.

He highlights a tense conversation between Raila and his son before the Luo political kingpin gained the courage to take the oath, which raised the political temperatures of this nation following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“Look at me! Why do you think I have been attending these meetings- all of a sudden? Ask yourself why. I have never taken part in your political activities before. But I have been coming to your meetings why?” Raila Junior said to his father with a stern gaze, as recorded in the book the lawyer shared on his Twitter account.

The lawyer records that Junior challenged Raila to tell him how he was going to win the trust of Kenyans if he was not going to take the oath as planned.

He also reveals that Raila’s wife Winnie and his brother Oburu Odinga were against the whole idea.

“If I cannot trust you and I am your son, how will Kenyans trust you,” Junior is said to have persisted.

Police uniforms are resembling “mama kanisa “uniforms ,says Hon.Martha Karua

The former Gichugu Member of Parliament and NARC-Kenya leader Martha Karua posted a picture of women in a church wearing blue clothes ridiculing the statement by national police service which gave a warning to the public against those who wear military regalia.

In a statement on Tuesday, the servicemen warned that those seen in police uniform would cause panic among members of the public.

“Criminals are also known to put on such attire masquerading as Police Officers and terrorize members of the public. This practice must stop as it is against the law to wear clothing that have any resemblance to Military or Police uniforms,” the statement read in part

“JEFF KOINANGE Is A Conman-Journalist”- CONRAD ORONYI

By Professor CONRAD ORONYI

Are Kenyan journalists become dumb by the day? Look guys, why should a journalist who has prepared to host an interview come on th interview all week come on th material day and start requesting for questions frm viewers?

As if that aint bad..Who starts an interview with a question like Is it true you smoke? What a dumb question..Ok I smoke then?
The worst thng a journalist can do is to look down upon his interviewee..U cant demean an elected leader even when u blantantly know he is not upto th game on spoken language..

JKL needs a break..Ths guy has been inviting mediocre guests and remain asking stupid class one questions just yo get viewership..i wont be suprised nxt week to see Chege or Jaguar for a stupid interview..Ths show is losing meaning..A mediocre show is when after 2hr of interview all Kenyans are talking about is smoking or such like nonsense..

Smoking, whether bhang or papers is a choice..and anyone above the required legal age is free to smoke as he wishes..

Blame Tanga Tanga team for your misfortunes Aisha, Dori warned against using negative sentiments on Joho

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is not to blame for the woes facing Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori and his Malindi counterpart Aisha Jumwa, a section of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders have said.

Speaking on Tuesday outside ODM offices in Kwale, former Matuga MP Hassan Mwanyora also county ODM chairperson said that the two leaders have no moral authority to blame Joho over their expulsion from the Party.

He said the two, who are facing a disciplinary action for associating themselves with Deputy President William Ruto, should carry their own cross and not accuse Joho, also deputy party leader of ODM.

He said that it is unfortunate for the leaders to back Ruto, who has been a thorn in the flesh of their party leader Raila Odinga.

The chairman insisted that the seconid term county boss had nothing to do with their tribulations, adding that the decision to expel them from ODM was reached because of their actions.

“We welcome the decision by the (ODM) National Executive Council to expel the two leaders for going against party rules. I don’t see why they should declare war against the governor (Joho)?” he said in part, as reported by the Daily Nation.

He also dared them to resign from their current positions if they feel aggrieved over the way they are being treated in the party. His sentiments were backed by Kwale Woman Representative Zuleikha Juma.

Why nobody trusts Miguna Miguna, doesn’t matter what secrets he reveals

By Kenya O Gilbert

Miguna Miguna is one very interesting character. There’s something extremely uncanny and unsettling about the self-declared opposition “general”.

The man who has written three voluminous books about one Raila Odinga, in a span of less than a decade, seems to be peculiarly obsessed with Tinga Wuod Odinga – son of Nyamira.

Nobody can begrudge him with that though, since many people have always been obsessed with the man who has dominated the Kenyan political landscape for close to three decades now.

However, what amazes many is the ease with which Ja Nyando gives away what seems like very intimate secrets.
What happened to the once coveted “word of honour” and code of secrecy?

What happened to the trustworthiness that used to be emblematic with those who were privileged to sit on the king’s high table?

Indeed gone are the days when men and women of honour lived!

If such men and women exist today, they’re in the ratio of one in a million.

When they gave you their word of honour, you could as well use it as a guarantee for a loan from the biggest bank around.

Such were the wise men and women who sat around the king as his inner circle of advisors.

Their code of secrecy could only be comparable to that of ormeta – the proverbial Mafia code of silence. They would rather die than give away secrets they gave their word to protect.

Of course, it is important for the citizenry to have a glimpse of what goes on behind the closed doors of their leaders’ boardrooms before ground shaking decisions are made…

But, there is something disturbingly petty and indecent with the way Miguna x 2 has always gone about spilling the beans anytime he was allowed access to the high table.

With loose mouths like Miguna’s around them, it would be utterly impossible for leaders to lead!

This is one major reason why the man will never be entrusted with high office, where confidentiality is the order of the day.

Those deep in government (siri-kali) – an organ that is normally shrouded in deep secrecy – will only touch Miguna using a one kilometer long stick.

In his latest book, “TREASON: The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades” Miguna seems to relish in giving away very intimate secrets about the behind-the-scenes happenings in Raila’s inner circle, a few days to his swearing in as the people’s president in Uhuru Park, early last year.

Reading through the book, you see a man so determined to give unnecessary details of very intimate secrets.

He runs short of describing the exact time when Raila farted, how thunderous the farts were and how those around the table reacted to the farts!

However, nobody can dispute Ja Nyando’s storytelling prowess. His memory must be razor sharp, if the details he gives in his books are anything to go by.

Yes, just like his other two books (written on the same man), this latest book will attract a short-lived fanatical readership.

But, that will be all it can ever achieve. In a few weeks; nobody will be talking about it anymore.

He knows well that writing about Raila, instantly gives him a huge audience. After all, even our own media houses have long discovered that anything with Raila on it automatically becomes newsworthy.

So, they always find a way of spinning the name Raila into their news items even if they’ve to speculate why he didn’t show up in an event that he was never meant to attend in the first place.

In a nutshell, through his books on Raila (the only books he has written so far), Miguna Miguna keeps proving to all and sundry that he simply can’t be trusted with even the most trivial secret, let alone any sensitive secrets.

What’s more, his know-it-all and self-righteous writing approach, whereby he’s always right when all others are wrong; makes him a very dishonest writer.

As much as he tries to depict Raila as a spineless leader who can’t be trusted, he seems to cherish the opportunity of having closely worked with Tinga.

He obviously can’t even disguise his excitement about this fact, which he masterfully uses to elevate his own stature.

After all is said and done; Miguna Miguna will be remembered as a pathological attention seeker, a rebel without a cause, and a “general” whose mouth always itched to give away the secret war strategies, used by his camp, in their latest battle.

Breaking: Government suspends free car days for two weeks

The government has suspended the car-free days in the city for another two weeks.

Transport CS James Macharia said the suspension is to enable them to vet hawkers and traders taking into consideration the recent terror attack in DusitD2 so that they are sure who will be occupying the area provided.

The decision came after a meeting between the ministry, Nairobi Senator Jonhson Sakaja, Nairobi County officials and hawkers representatives.

On Monday, the government said it plans to close certain roads in the city, barring motorists from accessing them on Wednesdays and Fridays as it plans to roll out the BRT buses.
The car-free days plan is part of the project to decongest the city and attract investors.

“The pilot stage is starting off with Moi Avenue, Harambee Avenue, Taifa Road, City Hall and Mama Ngina Street,” Public Works PS Paul Maringa said.

Maringa said there will be dedicated parking at Uhuru Park and Railways Station.

More than 5,000 stalls will be built during the pilot programme.

CS Macharia also said the much-awaited Bus Rapid Transit will be commissioned next month.

He said the first lot – 64 buses – is ready for shipping from South Africa.

The buses have two doors on the right side, driver control safety gadgets and will use electronic fare payment systems.

Hazard can go if he wants to – Chelsea coach Sarri

Eden Hazard’s Chelsea future remains in the air with the Belgian’s contract at Stamford Bridge having just 18 months left to run.
Now Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has declared that Hazard is free to leave if he wants – but the Italian hopes he chooses to stay put.

The Belgium star continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid, having declared in October that a switch to the Bernabeu was his dream.

Chelsea chiefs are keen to stop that from happening, however, and want to renew their star man’s new contract.

Hazard, 28, has a deal at Stamford Bridge until 2020 and risk losing him for nothing.

Negotiations over a new deal with the player’s representatives have been ongoing for over a year, but it is still unknown whether Hazard infact, wants to remain.

Get the latest sports news updates. Subscribe to our SMS sports service by texting ‘SPORTS’ to 22840.

If no new deal is agreed before the summer, then Chelsea will need to decide whether to cash in.

And Sarri, speaking ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash at Bournemouth, said: “Eden is 28. If he wants to go, I think he has to go.

“Of course, I hope the opposite, I hope he wants to stay here.

“He has the potential to be the best player in Europe at the moment.”

Hazard has scored 10 goals and laid on 10 more for teammates in the Premier League this season, with Chelsea occasionally appearing over-reliant on their leading man.

He has often appeared in a ‘false nine’ role in attack, despite preferring to play from the left, where he now will hope to feature more regularly following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain.

How Jubilee tycoon Joseph Kori teamed with Lover to Kill his wife and mother of his 3 sons

She got back to her house and prepared for a lunch date, but since Wangui’s taxi had stalled, she offered her a ride in her white Mercedes.

In the evening, Wambui successfully convinced Wangui to take her to house (Wangui’s) – perhaps to put to rest her suspicions.

Kori had rented a two-bedroom house for Wangui at Four Ways Junction where monthly rent is about Sh60,000. His photos hang on the walls leaving no doubt of the arrangement they had kept secret for more than two years.

Is Former roads minister Michael Kamau son of former Minister and Kitutu MP Hon Sagini?

With raging storm online linking former AG Githu Mungai and former constitutional affairs minister Martha Karua to Luyha tribe, there is a build up of the same on former roads minister Hon Engineer Michael Kamau to Kisii heritage courtesy of the godfather of the independence minister and Mzee Jomo Kenyatta’s favorite Kisii politician Hon Dr Lawrence George Sagini.

Dr Sagini was the pioneer Education minister at Independence and also served as the first and only Kisii to have been elected to LEGCO. He is the elder brother to former PS Dr Bitange Ndemo, for PC Peter Salim Ndemo and also brother in law to former powerful minister Simeon Nyachae

Engineer Kamau’s striking resemblance and demeanor betrays him, he is a true copy of Dr Sagini…

Engineer Kamau is facing corruption charges and was forced to resign; blogger Wahome Thuku has defended him online leading to many to conclude that the former minister is clean after all, he is a victim of a screwed system trying hard to fight corruption the same vice it promotes.
…………………………………………………………….
Here is what Thuku posted last year

By Wahome Thuku via FB

ACCORDING to honest people who are in the know, this man (the one in front) sat on the SGR kitty blocking any kind of looting. Something had to be put together to get him off the way.

THE man is now being tried in a court of law. When we hear that someone is being tried in a corruption court, we immediately conclude he is charged for eating. Because in Kenya, we convict you long before we even know your name.

The man is facing two charges which I would like you to read for the first time since 2015.
One charge is wilful failure to comply with applicable procedures and guidelines relating to management of public funds.

The second is abuse of office.
He is accuses of having ignored the design of Kamukuywa-Kaptama-Kapsokwony-Sirisia Road done by Engiconsult Limited and irregularly allowing the resident engineer to redesigned the same road. So yes, the biggest crime committed by Michael Kamau a professional Engineer and which saw him exit Uhuru Kenyatta cabinet was to allow one of his subordinates to redesign a road.

The second charge states that Kamau abused his authority by causing the road to be redesigned without involving Engiconsult Consulting Engineers Limited.
YES causing it to be redesigned without involving the designer is bigger crime than stealing billions from NYS.
WHAT Kamau may or may not have realised is that the SGR kitty was prime. He would still be in government had he let it go and let live.
Now he knows, that kikulacho is not always in your coat, many times kikulacho is outside, right next to your coat.

Embu Governor Martin Wambora triumphs again as Supreme Court dismisses Lenny Kivuti appeal against his election.

The election of Mr Wambora had been nullified by Justice William Musyoka in February last year, saying the vote recount and scrutiny had unearthed various irregularities that compromised the integrity of the process.

But the governor moved to the Court of Appeal and Justices William Ouko, Daniel Musinga, and Fatuma Sichale said the burden of proof was not discharged by former Senator Lenny Kivuti.

The three judges overturned the decision, ruling the High Court erred in invalidating Mr Wambora’s election.

However, Mr Kivuti was not satisfied and moved to the Supreme Court seeking to overturn the decision.

Not long ago , Governor Wambora was facing another impeachment motion over alleged slow implementation of development projects if members of the County Assembly (MCAs) make good their threats.

The MCAs have complained that little is going on in the region and accused the governor of refusing to convene a leaders’ meeting to discuss development.

They pointed out that projects such as bridges and roads meant to benefit the residents have stalled, yet the governor is doing nothing to ensure that they are revived.

“The construction of the Kwangochi and Kigumo bridges has stalled while the Mukenyu-Kathangari Road, which passes through rich agricultural, areas is in a deplorable state,” Ruguru-Ngandori Ward Representative Muturi Mwambo, said.

The MCAs gave him a seven-day ultimatum to meet the leaders, failing which he will face their wrath.

Magufuli declined Raila’s request to be sworn in Tanzania, rejected the whole plan

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has laid bare how Tanzanian President John Magufuli allegedly blocked NASA leader Raila Odinga from being sworn as the ‘People’s President’ in Tanzania.

Highlighting the behind the scenes intrigues behind the aborted December 12 and the January 30 swearing in ceremonies in his new book ‘Treason’, Miguna says Magufuli decline the request and even opposed the whole plan.

Miguna explains how “his” National Revolutionary Movement of Kenya (NRM-Ke) committee proposed to swear Raila at the Kenyan Embassy in Ghana or Tanzania.

The two foreign missions, according to Miguna, were a fallback plan should the government have cracked down on NASA and blocked his swearing in at a venue in Nairobi.

“The NRMKe team had proposed that if we were unable to conduct the function in a public space such as Uhuru Park in Nairobi, which was the preferred venue then we could do it at a Kenyan Embassy in Ghana or Tanzania. The second option was to hold it either in Kakamega, or Kilifi, or Mombasa,” Miguna reveals in his new book, Treason: The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades.’

The Kenyan-born lawyer with Canadian citizenship, says Raila had tasked his trusted ally and Siaya senator James Orengo to speak to President Magufuli about the possibility of holding the ceremony in Tanzania.

According to the book, ‘ Miguna says president Magufuli who has close personal ties with Raila, flatly opposed the whole swearing in plan.

The self-declared NRM General writes in the newly released book: “According to Orengo, Magufuli believed that leadership was ‘a gift from God’ and that if God had not given Raila that gift, there was no reason to pursue our plans and that Raila should forget about being sworn in as The People’s President,” reads an excerpt from the book launched on Saturday.

Miguna says the statements were interpreted to mean that Magufuli was of the view that God did not want Raila to be the president of Kenya.

“I found such statements to be outrageous. God had not manipulated the August 8, 2017 General Election,” Miguna says in his explosive

Raila is a coward who strongly opposed his own swearing-in says Miguna

Have you heard of Miguna Miguna’s new book, the Treason? Have you read it either? Well, in the book, exiled firebrand lawyer Miguna Miguna has lifted the lid on secrets and behind-the-scene intrigues preceding the dramatic swearing-in of Opposition chief Raila Odinga as the ‘People’s President’ last year.

In brief excerpts of the book, Treason: The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades, Miguna describes Raila as a coward who strongly opposed his own swearing-in on January 30 last year.

In the end, Raila was sworn in during a brief ceremony when his Nasa allies were absent.

He says Raila was scared of the treason charges that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government had threatened and says during some planning meetings, the former Prime Minister “was trembling like a leaf”.

“Raila was dissolving in fear, right before us. He was scared to death of the high treason charges Uhuru Kenyatta’s minions like [Attorney General] Githu Muigai had threatened us with,” Miguna says in his book launched on Saturday in Toronto, Canada.

He goes on to describe a conversation with businessman Jimi Wanjigi — one of the key proponents of the Raila oath — who had also concluded that the ODM leader was scared of the controversial swearing-in.

“Later, as we were walking to the elevator, Wanjigi turned to me and said, “Generaaaaal!” [Miguna styled himself ‘General’ of the National Resistance Movement]. When I looked at him, he started imitating a man shaking like a leaf. We all laughed,” Miguna writes.

According to Miguna’s account, Raila’s wife Ida and his elder brother Oburu Odinga were strongly opposed to the swearing-in.

Speculations on Danger as Hon.Kabogo sits down Gov.Joho in a rare occurrence

Former Kiambu county governor William Kabogo took to his social media account to post a picture of himself with Mombasa governor when he paid him a Courtesy call.

Kenyans however took to social media to flash back on when the two ever came to light and linked them to some alleged crimes.

Wilkins Fadhili did not only swindle girls money, he conned them love, opened servers! – so what?

According o a former partner Ms Ruth Ambogo, Fadhili lives with women he hits on and swindles them money and moves on to the next.

In a thread of tweets, Ms Ambogo explains how Fadhili conned her in a partnership where they were supposed to rent an office together.

Through friends, Ambogo at this stage learns that Fadhili had been living a lie, conning those susceptible souls who decided to belief his grass to grace story.

At one time, she found that Fadhili owed over 30 people, who had fallen into his traps.

“I was cooking and sent him to buy tomatoes. Akaacha one of his phones he had two. Mjinga hakuwa na password kwa simu (He left one of his phones since he had two. The fool had no password on his phone). I go through his phone. I found about 30 messages of guys demanding their conned money,” she says.

Well, well, well. Gabriel Oguda had the last word on those commenting adversely over the little matter that Fadhili also opened servers of his unsuspecting victims>>>

That lady was conned. It doesn’t matter whether she had an intimate affair with the con, but the bottomline is that she was conned. When you con someone off the sweat of their brow, and you try use sex as a justification for your actions, it means you know what you’re doing. It is disrespectful. It is wrong.

You took advantage of someone’s vulnerability to con them, knowing too well that if she dares open her mouth you will use your intimate moment with her to shut her down. Mimi ukiniibia it’s fair game. You can even tell the world how you rescued me from walking with open buttocks but if you con me it’s game on.

And you parents. Teach your girls to embrace their sexuality. Teach your girls to call out bullshit for what it is without fear of intimidation. Pollination is the process of transferring pollen grains from the anther to the stigma. There would be no pollination without the anther, same as there would be no pollination without the stigma. So embrace your role in the pollination process without fear of your sexuality, the same way anthers are doing so unapologetically.

Cons are criminals. And must be treated as such.
