On Medical Practitioners, Nurses and General healthcare

– the profession has been watered down, unlike before where those who studied medicine,were the best students from high school, nowadays the qualifications have been greatly lowered, its nolonger a calling like it used to be, the motivation is purely money and not service to humanity.

-Doctors have become greedy, they want to work for numerous hospitals, make as much money as possible as they also try to create time to attend to their personal patients in their private clinics and hospitals in the process the quality of medical attention is compromised

-Way back, nurses used to be the most compassionate people, they would go out of their way to care for the sick, but nowadays in hospitals they aide thieves to steal patients phones, babies etc, they are so heartless, they querrel or even discipline patients, they sometimes ignore patients, look at the sorry state of Kenyatta Hospital, and all public hospitals in kenya, they demand for bribes to get patients beds, food and even medication, if you dont corparate they watch you dying.

-Medical facilities management, they misappropriate resources, or divert them to their private hospitals or clinics, being a supretendant of a medical facility in kenya, or matron or head nurse means and opportunity to loot, not to serve, public hospitals arw ill equiped mainly because of theft,public medical personnel colluding with private hospitals and chemists so that deaperate patients can be referred their for thwm to get commissions.

Greed amongst medical practitioners turned entreprenuers who build magnificent hospitals like Karen, coptic, Nairobi, MP shah, Agha Khan, Getrudes and other private hospitals down in the counties, these people are not concerned about providing exceptional healthcare, they are concerned about profits,instead of focusing on their co business-quality healthcare provision, they are focused on ensuring their beds are filled to capacity, their beds/rooms are more expensive than rooms in Serena or Hilton, their meals are more expensive than some of the most exclusive tourist hotels you know,use of their equipment xrays, scanners, chemotherapy stuff etc, do you know how much they charge for gloves and syringes for example?

It is so costly and exploitative that 99 % of kenyans can rarely afford, and these people always rush to admit a patient, recommend the expensive tests and scans, recommend quick procedures that give them the best returns and for those giving birth, they urgently want you to go to theatre.

Better equipped hospitals in the rest of the world including India, the USA, China and even Europe are much cheaper and dedicated that these crazily expensive private hospitals we have in kenya.My friend, just do some research, inquire about a bed at Karen, Nairobi or Getrudes hospital you will be shocked, also find out about reviews from those who have used these facilities….. I have terrible experiences myself.

Have you realized for certain diseases and procedures, its cheaper for someone to go to India where you are guaranteed proper healthcare, no misdiagnosis like it often happens here in Kenya. Its cheaper to Pay for air tickets for the patient and a care giver(mainly a relative)pay for both their accommodation and the bill will not match what we get in kenya.

Am not saying all doctors are bad, am not saying all nurses are heartless and not saying all medical industry entrepreneurs arw greedy, but a vast majority of them are, its a very small percent that is genuinely doing what is required of them diligently. Kenyans we need to transform our country, we need to stop shortcuts to riches, we need to do things according to thw will of God, and what that particular profession requires.I could write about this field the entire day, but that is just a glimpse of what Kenyans face in the Health sector. WHY Miguna Miguna will LOSE UNOPPOSED in the Nairobi Governor Race, Planted to SPOIL CORD chances

Miguna Miguna wants to be Nairobi Governor. The author of ‘Peeling Back the Mask’, with a domicile in Canada where he plies his trade, jets in once in a while with a single purpose of serving a gallon of invectives on his political nemeses.

He has a number of interesting things to say. If you watch JKL, then you will laugh, and when your ribs are about to break, you will start to cry.

Okay. Miguna Miguna wants to be Nairobi governor. His campaign strategy? Dressing down his rivals. Rationale? Kenyans are so stupid and backward that your electability is often hinged on if you can dish out some good dose of invectives, at least according to Miguna.

If indeed that is how Nairobians vote, then without a doubt our next governor is Miguna Miguna. The list of those who’ve fallen victim to his sharp tongue is long: Johnson Sakaja, Evans Kidero, Sonko, Raila, Makau Mutua, et al.

It is a medical impossibility for Miguna Miguna to open his mouth without a string of invectives dripping off his gob. And he wants to be Nairobi governor. The man is very much convinced he has your vote. Miguna, he of the ‘come, baby come’ fame, has a range of diatribes for every other person, and a rainbow of accolades for himself. So highly does he think of himself to the point of comparing himself to Raila Odinga.

Here is my two-cent:

In case Miguna Miguna you are reading this, please, take that money you hope to use in your campaign and build a five star hotel in the city because there isn’t even a scintilla of likelihood that you will be Nairobi governor. Why?

1. People don’t vote credentials; they vote leaders. Leaders are charismatic. Leaders are humble. Leaders measure their utterances.

2. People hate and disdain arrogant, self-important people given to grandiosity. You seem too elitist and that is off-putting for a typical Kenyan voter.

3. You based your practice in Canada- for reasons well-known to you. You pay your taxes in Canada. You have done so little to our country. We’ve been crying of brain-drain as the major cause of underdevelopment.

4. You do not have a solid constituency of voters. First off, you understand how our politics is intertwined with tribalism. Let’s dispense with a few facts: 75 percent of Raila supporters are not going to support you for denigrating Raila and his people. Raila’s supporters make almost half of Nairobi. Besides, they have Kidero. 80 percent of Jubilee supporters are not going to support you for the simple reason they have their man- either Sakaja, Sonko, or Bishop Wanjiru. The facts are more distressing as you go down.

Therefore, my unsolicited counsel to lawyer Miguna Miguna is that you make for comic relief. Beyond that, you are a walking disaster. You can do well in a professional position, for example, determining policy, but not a politician. But again, you can join forces with Churchill Ndambuki- you can help kid’s corner with mchongoano.

For the past one month, members of the Kalenjin Community have been left in a state of suspended animation with regard to the political future of the community.

Statements have been thrown left, right and centre by notable persons holding positions of influence all aimed at sending signals that we as Kalenjin community are not guaranteed their support in the 2022 general election.

As the great philosopher Mark Twain once said “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” First it was political activist Mr. Tony Gachoka who sparked the controversy. We thought he was joking. Then came Kiambu Governor Mr. William Kabogo with similar sentiments and now a TNA nominated Senator Mr. Paul Njoroge. We know the game. We can’t wait to be humiliated at the eleventh hour. Waswahili husema, AKUFUKUZAYE HAKWAMBII TOKA.

We want to state here that we were in ODM. We were the founder members of the ODM party. We were misled to leave the party in 2013 because of one’s selfish interests. We were promised heaven, only to be subjected to hell. These three years have been like persevering an abusive marriage.

We don’t want to be hurt anymore. We have decided to come back home. We know, it is only through ODM that our community can get power once more. We therefore undertake to mobilize support for the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga in the entire Rift Valley region for the 2017 general election.

We are now convinced that the Jubilee alliance is between individuals and not communities. We must choose to stand up and be counted. We want to be on the right side of history.

BREAKING: More than 300 URP officials DUMP Jubilee to join ODM, Received at Orange by Hon Wandayi

Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi has asked the President to back DP William Ruto and be his running mate in the 2017 general election.

This will demonstrate goodwill by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto, he said, noting it has happened in Russia.

“Uhuru’s genuineness should be seen,” he told a group of more than 300 URP grassroot officials from Kalenjin land who decamped to ODM after claims Ruto will not be supported in 2022.

Avocados and lemons are the best foods in the world. Imagine life without avocados and lemons? what about Kenyan politics WITHOUT Raila?
I can go on. But you get the drift.

Lastly,for reggae lovers, Captain TT, Lord Laro, I Jah Man Levi, Lerroy Sibles, Klear View and Harmonix, Israel Vibrations and Bunny Wailer did give us some really memorable tunes.

BREAKING: Police to ARREST and Prosecute CORD’s Seantor Muthama over FAKE Hate Speech charges

The DPP has ordered an immediate and speedy probe into Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama over remarks issued at a Busia rally on Monday.

Keriako Tobiko did not specify the “hate remarks” in his statement to newsrooms on Thursday.

But Muthama said during woman representative Florence Mutua’s homecoming that DP William Ruto should be investigated for remarks he termed offensive.

“We want an explanation of what ‘ kukaranga mtu ’ (to fry someone) means, if it is not hate speech. We might be forced to ‘fry’ him first before he does it to us,” he said.

Tobiko directed the National Cohesion and Integration Commission to look into the utterances that he termed offensive.

He said he reached the decision after reviewing a file on the matter from the Director of Criminal investigations. He said a report should be submitted to him for action.

The DCI recommended that Muthama be charged with the offence of ethnic contempt contrary to section 62 of the National Cohesion and Integration Act.

The Senator was among the eight MPs who were detained for three days at Pangani police station over hate speech allegations.

WHY Uhuru KICKED OUT Itumbi, Buku and Ngeno from Statehouse, MORE ATTACKS on Raila and CORD

Political seasons require preparation and realignments. These are the times when incumbents running for reelection tend to retool their political operations and streamline their political architecture. Most importantly, these are the times when key personnel changes are made in order to maximize productivity by way of leveraging in personnel talent.

And so in keeping with that tradition, Statehouse political strategists made some changes in their press shop, but in vintage Jubilee fashion, they had to sensationalize it for political mileage. Media houses had to receive presidential communiqués to drive their point home. And when the news hit the airwaves, Jubilee image makers made their kill as unsuspecting listeners ate it all up and gloated over the ‘firings’.

But are they going to be jobless as alleged? The answer is a simple NO, because to understand their terms of employment, one has to look at how they got those jobs in the first place. These individuals got to the corridors of power by working behind the scenes. They were the unseen bloggers, propaganda peddlers and rapid response operatives who kept the CORD campaign on defense throughout the entire campaign season.

It was therefore an act of loyalty to assemble them in the nucleus of power and hand them prestigious titles complete with higher civil service Job groups so that they can keep on eating even while being considered ‘persona non grata’ at Statehouse.

That they flunked in their duties while ‘in office’ is an indisputable fact, heck, they were not hired to disseminate government’s policy positions, they were hired as a reciprocation to loyalty and to earn fat checks. With that in mind, all the incoherent official responses that came from them can be excused.

They are now free to go and do what they do best and while at it, continue to earn fat paychecks courtesy of the taxpayers.

Mr. President, Thank You For Disbanding PSCU

Today, President Uhuru Kenyatta, through my friend, Nzioka Waita, disbanded the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU). The PSCU had desecrated, abused and uprooted every objective and mission that Presidential Media Units are created for.

Presidents world over, set up media units to engender national unity, highlight and sell the President’s development agenda and re-position the international image and prestige of the country.

What our PSCU did was to burn every bridge that binds Kenya’s tribes, demonize and delegitimize every tribe or person seen as opposition and throw the legal dictionary of abuses at all imagined enemies of the President.

Kenya needs a united Country of 42 plus tribe- nations, and peace with all her neighours and a table in the community of Nations.
PSCU was sabotaging the true image of our President and making enemies for him when he doesn’t need any. PSCU must have still been reading the manual of Paul Joseph Goebbels. The President can do with Nzioka Waita and Manoah Manoah Esipisu only. The two, are people of integrity and good manners. Let ex-PSCU go set up a gutter-press to run their abuses.

BREAKING: ANGRY President Uhuru DISBANDS PSCU, SACKS Dennis Itumbi, Munyori Buku, Ngeno for ABUSING Raila

State House has disbanded the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) with immediate over concerns of unstructured communications.

In a memo signed by assistant Head of Public Service Nzioka Waita, President Uhuru Kenyatta sent packing four directors in charge of various department of the unit.

However, the Presidency retained Manoah Esipisu as the State House spokesperson and head of communication.

According to a highly placed source, the Presidency was concerned over the increasing cases of unstructured communications that have been sent out in the recent past.

PSCU will, however, be restructured in the shortest time possible with emphasis on more organized communication.
The Directors affected include: Munyori Buku, Senior Director Public Communications, Dennis Itumbi, Digital and Diaspora Communications Director, Eric Ng’eno, head of Messaging at the Presidency, James Kinyua, the Branding and Events Director.

The disbanded team has since been denied access to State House.

This morning few Busia Luhyas are being mobilised to escort Ababu back to his office as SG, ODM. They are all converging in Yaya center, then match to Orange house. They are coming with Esikuti drums. They will be singing and dancing.

Before we get to 2022, we must pass through 2017. To pass 2017, we must look at the promises of 2013.

1. Have the current government created 1million jobs annually?

2. Have they created the 24 hours economy? Have they minimized Kenyan debt?

3. Have they improved the economy by double digits?

4. Have they provided clean drinking water to 80% of Kenyans as they promised?

5. Have they equipped public hospitals with drugs and machines as they promised?

6. Have they created opportunities for the development of the youths?

7. Have they improved the security situation for Kenyans?

8. Have they lowered the prices of basic commodities?

9. Have they lowered inflation?

10. Have they lowered taxes on Kenyans?

11. Have they united the nation?

12. Are Kenyans feeling better under their leadership in comparison to the last government?

If the answers to this questions is NO. Then rather than talking about 2022, the current government ought to give Kenyans a reason why they deserve 5 more years…..

If the government of kenya is chosen by a few elites and not universal suffrage as provided for by the constitution, who have decided the people who will be president for the next 100 years, then we don’t even need IEBC and those millions wasted in “elections” should be used to rehabilitate street families. But if Kenyans have a say, then let’s let them make that choice.
