Following the successful Kisii investors Summit, Mt. Kenya Mafia vow to deal with Governor Ongwae

The recently concluded Kisii Entrepreneurship Summit (KES) has been rated the most successful since the introduction of devolution.

The summit themed “Tapping the Trade and Investment Opportunities in Kisii County” brought together various stakeholders comprising of learning institutions, Financial institutions,  local and international investors, Entrepreneurs, Co-operative movements, industrialists, Government Departments and NGOs among others.

According to policymakers, Kisii Governor hon. James Ongwae scored above high, something that never augured well with the Mt. Kenya Mafia especially after he invited Prime Minister Raila Odinga to initiate it.

It has been revealed that Governor Ongwae’s recent stage-managed disapproval ratings by the government through the defunct EACC, is as a result of the KES success.

Originally, the summit was supposed to be held in Thika but organizers and stake holders refused and chose Kisii instead.

Since the summit, hon. Ongwae has not known peace. He and other hardworking leaders that are not allied to the government have been frustrated by the government.

Last week the Mt. Kenya Mafia under the leadership of the President met in Sagana specifically to plan on how bring down industrious rebel leaders like Ongwae and Governor Isaac Rutto.

They resolved to use EACC to fabricate lies against the likes of Ongwae and the rest. They cooked stories and branded governor Ongwae “the 2nd most corrupt governor.

EACC itself is the government’s cosmetic puppet. It has never prosecuted any individual successfully. Is it not the same EACC that cleared former devolution CS Anne Waiguru?

Billions are looted under the EACC watch and looters are never incarcerated. Governor Ongwae has done so many things that no other governor has done. If the briber claim by the EACC is what to go by, Kisiis on the ground would be the first to complain.
